My Atlantis has Davinci cable splitters on the shift cables. With 8 speed Shimano indexed bar ends there is no adjustment needed. However, I put them on to make the bike easier to disassemble for shipping. I think you'd have to be careful at set-up to use them for quick change of handlebars. Mine are along the shift cables between the DT stops and the BB. Might need DT cable stops on both sets of h'bars.
