'EIDUR GUDJOHNSEN may be out with the Nou and in with the Old this summer by
joining Manchester United from Barcelona, writes ANDREW DILLON.

The Iceland striker is one of the leading names on United boss Alex Ferguson’s
shopping list to fill the gap left by Henrik Larsson.

Fergie reckons he could get his man to leave Barcelona’s Nou Camp for Old
Trafford for around £8million.

Ironically, Gudjohnsen quit Chelsea for Barcelona last summer to take over from
Sweden veteran Larsson.

Gudjohnsen, 27, is one year into a four-year, £70,000-a-week contract with
Barca but has found his appearances limited.

He scored 16 goals in his last season with Chelsea and Fergie has been a
long-term admirer of the striker’s playmaking talents — as well as his eye for
spectacular goals.'

“Keane was one of the most influential players of the last 10 years and such a
crucial player for Manchester United. He was one of the reasons why they
enjoyed so much success and to be compared to someone of that stature is
fantastic. It’s important to win the ball in the middle of the park and try and
get it forward in any game you play. I think I’ve shown I can do that. But
although I play the same position as Roy Keane did, we are very different. He
had his qualities and I have mine. When you go on the pitch, the most important
thing is the performance. But some people are more vocal than others. At times,
I’m relatively easy going and relaxed even though I get frustrated and want to
win as much as anyone.” If you have JT and Rio behind you with two good
full-backs outside them they give you a lot of support. JT and Rio will always
stay behind you and give you a great pass from the back."

'The FA confirmed yesterday that there will be “no formal disciplinary action”
against any players involved in restraining a pitch invader during Chelsea’s FA
Cup sixth-round replay win away to Tottenham Hotspur on Monday. The FA has
studied video footage of the incident, when two supporters entered the field of
play, one from each club, sparking a postmatch fracas. The governing body had
obtained video footage that showed players restraining a Tottenham fan who
appeared to aim a punch at Frank Lampard as the Chelsea players celebrated
their win.'

'Sports and entertainment marketing agency IMG Media has launched a new
Manchester United-branded news feed.

The Man United Vista Gadget will give fans of the club a free continuous stream
on their desktops of live interactive news, video and audio.

The service can be customised by fans, with one feature allowing users to
‘dress’ the application in one of Manchester United’s three kits.

IMG Media, which provides marketing and branding services, has worked with
Manchester United since 1998. The agency has developed the club’s online
presence, struck partnership deals with other sites and syndicated the club’s
international rights.

In February, Manchester United appointed Lee Davey as its new commercial
director. Davey, who left his role as chairman and chief executive of Saatchi &
Saatchi, will take up the role in mid-April.

Mark Hargreaves, general manager at Manchester United Interactive, said:
“ManUtd.com has become the primary way of communicating with our fans whether
they are here in the UK or anywhere around the world. The Man United Vista
Gadget represents a new avenue of delivering information to users so that they
can receive up to the minute information at their desktop without lifting a
finger.

“As one of the biggest and most recognised football clubs in the world, we are
committed to being ahead of the game. As more and more of our fans upgrade to
the Vista platform or buy a new PC or laptop with Vista installed, the Gadget
will become an increasingly important communication tool.”

looked after himself, which is why he is still playing at the highest level of
the game. We hope that with his extra quality up front he can help us to secure

[15] Times on more appalling comments about Ronaldo
---------------------------------
Posted Thursday, March 22, 2007 by ed:
'Sir Alex Ferguson’s fears of a witch-hunt against Cristiano Ronaldo were
heightened yesterday when the Manchester United winger was subjected to
astonishing threats from the Belgium camp before Portugal’s European
Championship qualifying match in Lisbon on Saturday. One player suggested that
the best way to stop the 22-year-old would be to break his leg at the first
opportunity.

Gilberto Madail, the president of the Portuguese football federation, has
demanded that Uefa, European football’s governing body, investigate comments
made by Stijn Stijnen, the Belgium goalkeeper, which came only 24 hours after
George Boateng, the Middles-brough captain, gave warning that “someone will
hurt Ronaldo properly and he will be out for a long time” if he continues to
“take the mickey” out of opponents.

Ferguson, the United manager, has complained for much of the season that
Ronaldo is being subjected to unfair treatment by opposition players and,
having issued a passionate defence of the winger’s role in Monday’s FA Cup
sixth-round replay victory over Middles-brough, will be appalled by the
comments from Stijnen.

“After two minutes we will normally have massacred him so much that he will
have to leave the pitch on a stretcher,” Stijnen, the FC Bruges goalkeeper,
said when asked how Belgium intend to deal with the threat of Ronaldo. “What
else do we need to do? Portugal have greater quality and that’s why we have to
do things our way. If we try to play like them we will certainly lose.”

Stijnen claimed later that his interview with the Gazet van Antwerpen newspaper
had been misinterpreted, but his attempts to play down the controversy were
clumsy at best. “I don’t think my words are shocking,” he said. “We’re the
visiting team and have to do things our way. I didn’t mean to say that we have
to specifically get Cristiano Ronaldo off the pitch, but we have to play hard
against the Portuguese players. I’m not saying Belgium have to break anyone’s
leg, but we have to be aggressive. We have to play with character and not spare
our opponents’ tibias.”

Uefa has promised to investigate Stijnen’s comments if they receive a complaint
from the Portuguese Football Federation, but there will be more interest at Old
Trafford in the outcome of today’s meeting of Uefa’s control and disciplinary
body, which is investigating the crowd disturbances at the Barclays Premiership
leaders’ Champions League match away to Lille at the Félix-Bol-laert Stadium,
Lens, last month.

United were appalled by the treatment of their supporters in Lens, with the
French police firing teargas into the visiting fans’ section of the ground,
but, while Lille face the threat of heavy sanctions, United could also be fined
for “failing to control their supporters”, after the French club complained
that overcrowding in the stadium was caused by counterfeit tickets produced in
England.

Uefa confirmed last night that a weighty dossier had been sent from Manchester,
with United forwarding statements and e-mails from fans complaining about their
treatment.

Lille seem certain to face censure — with one possibility that they will be
banned from staging European matches in Lens, having been forced to do so
because their stadium does not meet Uefa’s requirements — but they, too, have
submitted statements, blaming United’s fans for some of the issues that arose
on the night.

“According to our regulations, Lille theoretically could be suspended from
playing matches at this stadium,” a Uefa official said last night. “But it is
wrong to speculate as there is a lot to discuss.”

>From icons.com - Submitted on the 8th of March yet the papers only catch it
>today.

You are playing the best campaign of your career. What's it like to be living
it?

It's going all well enough. The team is good, having a good Premiership and a
good Champions League and we want to continue on this good path. Everything
indicates that we can be champions of the Premiership and who knows how far we
can go in the Champions League.

The season began badly for you in Manchester, after the problems with Rooney
and his sending off in the England-Portugal match, but you retrieved the
situation and with your goals and play and have conquered English affections...

The return from the World Cup was a little bit difficult, but playing and
showing my value I believe that things changed a lot. I expected it to happen
like that, now things are very well, they are stabilized, the English are happy
and I want to continue like this, in this line.

What chance has United of winning the Premiership?

There are still nine games to go, so there is still nothing definite, but we
expect to be champions and I think that we are going to be.

What team would you prefer to draw in the quarter finals of the Champions
League?

All the teams that have got this far are the best. Any rival one is going to be
very complicated. To be sincere, I prefer that we don't draw an English team. I
believe that it is better to draw Rome, PSV or Valencia, but all the teams are
difficult to beat at these stages of the competition.

Already you are a footballer recognized all over of the world. Do you consider
yourself to be a Galactico?

No, no, no. I consider myself a football player, a player that is in
Manchester, playing well, helping the team. Things are turning out well and are
continue to do so. A Galactico? No.

How do you cope mentally when in Spain each week you are linked with Real
Madrid and Barcelona on the front of the newspapers ? What does Cristiano
Ronaldo want to do right now?

I want to stay in Manchester but nobody knows what the future holds. One day I
will end up playing in Spain, but I am very happy here, I want to continue
because we are a great football club and I am doing really well, I am very
happy here, but in the future nobody knows. All I want right now is to continue
at this club.

Between Real Madrid and Barcelona, who do you prefer?

Always it is important to know that the large teams notice my work, and are
following me. But to be sincere I only think about Manchester and I want to
remain here some years more.

Do you want to make a mark in Manchester United?

Of course I do. I want to make my mark in Manchester, I want to win titles and
enter the folklore of the club.

And the club wants you to remain because it is negotiating a better contract?

Yes we are negotiating, everything is in place to keep me here. I do not know
anything, Jorge (Mendes) is speaking with the president and I believe that
things are going well and I am going to remain here.

What do you say to the Spanish fans that are hoping you go there?

I like the Spanish a lot. I expect some day to play in La Liga, but at this
time I am very happy where I am.

"I'm sure Steve [Staunton] will say, 'I'll pick what I think is the best team'.
If they qualify, then fair enough, you can say 'I got it right'. It's your job
as a manager. You've got to pick the right team, you've got to manage. But if
you keep picking the same players who aren't performing all the time, that's
insanity. You'll get the same results. We all know the players I'm talking
about. There's a fine line between loyalty and stupidity. A very fine line. It
will be like that against Wales. The four or five senior players have to step
up to the plate. But they've been asked before. Look at some of our players at
the bigger clubs. Robbie Keane is doing OK at Tottenham, John O'Shea is in and
out at [Manchester] United, Duffer's at Newcastle with Shay. But none of these
players at this moment in time are setting the world alight. Also Steve Finnan
at Liverpool. If you're celebrating beating San Marino, then that worries me"

'Real Madrid are ready to pay Manchester United a club record 80 million euros
(105 million dollars) to land Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo, Spanish
sports daily AS reported Wednesday.
Ronaldo's future at Old Trafford has been a constant subject for speculation
with Spanish media saying for months he will end up at the Bernabeu.
If Real do stump up and convince the 22-year-old starlet his future does lie in
La Liga then the Spanish giants would smash the 75 million former record of 75
million euros paid to Juventus to land now retired French star Zinedine Zidane
in 2001, AS said.
AS and rival sports daily Marca said last week that Ronaldo, whose contract at
Old Trafford runs to 2010, wanted to come to Spain with Real or Barcelona his
mooted destinations.
Contract talks over an extension at United have not yet reached a breakthrough
but on Sunday United coach Alex Ferguson voiced confidence his star will stay
with the English Premiership leaders for years to come.
"I'm confident he will be a United player," Ferguson said regarding a proposed
two-year extension to Ronaldo's existing deal.
The player has hit 16 goals this season but was involved in a "diving" storm
after winning the penalty which saw United see off Middlesrbough to boo their
passage to the FA Cup semi-final. Ronaldo himself converted the spot-kick.'

[9] Stretford loses appeal
---------------------------------
Posted Thursday, March 22, 2007 by ed:
from Indy

'Wayne Rooney's agent Paul Stretford yesterday failed in his latest attempt to
stop the Football Association bringing disciplinary charges against him.

The Court of Appeal ruled that an FA disciplinary commission has the
jurisdiction to deal with a series of charges brought against Stretford in June
2005 alleging he had breached rules regarding the circumstances in which he
became Rooney's agent. There were nine charges initially, reduced to seven last
year when two were suspended for legal reasons.

Stretford has been campaigning since 2005 to have the charges dealt with in a
public court rather than by a FA disciplinary commission, arguing that private
FA proceedings constitute a breach of his human rights.

In March last year, the High Court ruled that as a licensed players' agent,
Stretford was bound by the FA's rules and regulations, and in particular was
bound by the FA's arbitration procedure. The High Court also rejected
Stretford's claim that the FA's arbitration procedure conflicted with Article 6
of the European Convention on Human Rights (the right to a fair trial) or the
principles of natural justice.

The Court of Appeal yesterday also found in the FA's favour, backing the FA's
right to enforce its own rules (and Fifa's rules within England). Stretford's
only recourse now is either to appeal to the House of Lords or submit to the
FA's disciplinary process. His licence could be withdrawn if he is found guilty
of the charges.

The FA said in a statement: "The FA has today received confirmation from the
Court of Appeal that the appeal issued by players' agent Paul Stretford was
dismissed. The FA was also awarded costs. "This decision follows a previous
ruling of the High Court rejecting Paul Stretford's claims against the FA. The
FA has always maintained that it has acted properly in accordance with its
rules."

The charges against Stretford related to a number of alleged breaches of the
Fifa Players' Agent Regulations and the FA's rules, relating to the
circumstances surrounding his acquisition of the right to represent Rooney.
Stretford was representing Rooney in September 2002, but this allegedly
overlapped an agreement the player had with his former agent, Peter McIntosh.'

Posted Thursday, March 22, 2007 by ed:
'A SELF-confessed prankster says he has exposed huge gaps in security at
Manchester United’s stadium – with the help of his sister’s cat.

Lee Doran claims he managed to spend 30 minutes exploring some of Old
Trafford’s most hallowed sanctuaries – including manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s
carpeted office – without being detected.

He told the Observer: "I even managed to take my cat, which was in a box, into
Sir Alex’s office.

"I didn’t do it for the glory. I just wanted to expose the security lapses. It
could have been a bomb in that box, not just my sister’s cat."

Mr Doran, of Daventry Road, Kirkholt, also claimed he was able to visit the
hospitality suites, sit in the manager’s seat on the side of the pitch and even
walk on to the turf – all without being challenged by security staff.

He says he also got into the club museum by a back door, even though security
staff had stopped him when he tried to go in through the front carrying the cat
in a box.

Mr Doran, an avid Liverpool supporter, hopes his actions will not result in
police action.

He said: "I am a bit of prankster and in the past have managed to get into a
lot of football grounds, including the Reebok Stadium, to expose lapses in
security."

The 30-year-old showed the Observer some grainy and blurred images taken on his
mobile phone.

"I had been to the RSPCA in Salford with my sister’s cat, which needed
treatment for a mouth infection. At the bus stop I saw that Old Trafford was
only a few minutes away so I decided to go.

"When the security guard at the museum wouldn’t let me in, because I was
carrying the cat in a box, I walked round to the directors’ entrance.

"I was able to go straight in. There was no-one at the door, so I thought ‘I’ll
see how far I can go’.

"I went up some stairs to the directors' box and then went up in a lift which
took me to the hospitality suites. Then I went down and found a way into the
back of museum after which I went on to the pitch and sat in Mr Ferguson’s seat
.

"At no stage did I see anyone else, although I suppose I must have been on the
security cameras."

A spokeswoman in Manchester United's press office said it would have been
impossible to do what Mr Doran had claimed he did.

She said: "We do run tours around the stadium but they are accompanied with
guides.

"As far as getting into Sir Alex’s office is concerned this cannot be true.
There is only one key and even we can’t get in."

She said Mr Doran had also got his geography wrong as his description didn’t
fit the ground layout.

She added that CCTV cameras were all around the stadium and there had been no
reports of any incidents on 23 February, the day that Mr Doran claimed he was
able to walk round.'

[7] Scottish Herald on Carrington and Youth
---------------------------------
Posted Thursday, March 22, 2007 by ed:
Manchester United's magnificent skills factory, nestling in the suburbs of the
city, stands as a monument to the club's long-held commitment to youth
development.

On entering, young aspirants gaze up at huge photographs of graduates from the
famous 1992 FA Youth Cup-winning side such as David Beckham, Gary and Phil
Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt.

They have become the poster boys for the club's pioneering approach to the
production of young talent, their subsequent achievements also delivering a
glorious rebuttal to Alan Hansen's assertion that "You can't win anything with
kids". Yet 15 years have passed since that precocious pack began to emerge.
Indeed, some of the current academy acolytes were not even born in 1992.

There is another sense in which Beckham et al have become anachronisms,
products of a bygone era in which the club were able to set their own agenda in
youth development. They may continue to invest huge sums of money and time to
the cause, but United have found their pace-setting endeavours hamstrung by an
academy system which they perceive as having fundamental flaws.

Serious questions have started to be asked about the system in recent months,
not just by United, as the expected new generation of technically accomplished
homegrown players have failed to emerge. Howard Wilkinson, the former technical
director of the FA, claimed that the system would yield a World-Cup winning
side within a decade. That was eight years ago and tumbleweed now rolls across
the training pitches which were supposed to be populated by world-class talent.

Brian McClair, the former Celtic and United striker, took over as United's
academy director last summer and, in conversation at the club's Carrington
training ground recently, conveyed a deep dismay at the inherent problems in
the system. In particular, he highlighted the geographical restrictions which
have been placed on the pursuit of excellence. "We can only recruit boys up to
the age of 14 from a 60-minute travelling distance radius of Manchester," he
says. "In that area there are lots and lots of academies and centres of
excellence chasing the same boys. It's very competitive."

However, it is the contractual agreements youngsters enter into with academies
which McClair believes is an even bigger problem. "The boys all want to be
involved in the academy systems, so what happens is that they sign up at eight
years of age and you never see them again. You're not allowed to scout any
other academies. A lot of parents don't understand that as soon their kids come
into the academy system they are right away entering into a compensation system
where there are no rules.

"You're asking boys and their parents to make career-defining decisions at the
age of eight. That can't be right. Sometimes we can't tell all the way through
to 17 and 18 now how good youngsters are going to be because their performances
go up and down so much. You have no chance at eight. It's a 10-year programme.

"People want to try and keep their best kids, but it might not be the best for
a kid to be involved in a system where he's not able to practice with the best
players. Players improve by playing with players of equal or more ability.

"If a boy is in a system which won't let him flourish because the players he's
playing with and against aren't challenging him, then eventually he will fall
by the wayside. The problem is that if a boy gets released from an academy then
they don't then go back into schools or boys football, they stop playing
altogether. So you're not going to pick them up again at 12 or 13.

"If you take a 12-year-old boy who wants to come to Manchester United - unless
you can agree a compensation fee with the club he's coming from, then you could
end up going to a tribunal. There's no rhyme nor reason involved, they just
pluck figures. It's a case of they're a big club maybe they can afford it'. To
me it's not right boys at that age are having such values put upon them."

McClair identifies a shrinking pool of potential talent, which has its roots in
societal change, as another element of the problem. "It's something here that
maybe happened in Scotland a bit earlier. Kids are doing other things," he
added. "If I had a computer or Sky or DVDs I might not have gone out and played
football. Kids don't do enough sport at school either. They are not active
enough. It's not just about football. It's about climbing trees, jumping off
walls."

United continue to push for structural change in the academy set-up and have
strong opinions on the best way to foster technique amongst youngsters. One of
their main ambitions is for a switch to smaller-sided games between the ages of
eight and 12, the so-called golden age of learning. At the moment, it is eight
v eight, but United's theory is smaller games gives young players the
opportunity to get more touches on the ball and develop their short passing
skills. It is hardly rocket science but they have encountered resistance in
their attempts to bring it in. McClair is mystified.

"We've piloted the four against four for numerous reasons, but it's not been
adopted universally. We feel that the more contact you get with the actual
ball, the better you become. There seems to be such a rush here to get to 11
against 11. It goes to 11 against 11 at under-12s, but why not progress it?
Five v five, six v six, seven v seven, all the way up and you could adjust the
pitch accordingly . . . Eventually you would get to a place where you have more
skilful players.

"Only one or two clubs have ever wanted to play four v four. There have been
numerous occasions when clubs won't play us two games at under-11s, even though
they come along to play eight v eight games with six or seven subs.

"I don't know why that's the case. We offer all the time. We don't just want to
produce players for this club. We want to improve the standard of football in
England. That was one of the reasons why the academy system was set up."

The challenge for United has become to find ways around the difficulties within
the system. One way to broaden the base of talent has been to adopt a global
approach to youth development, like Arsenal have also done in recent times.
They now have recruits from China, Ghana, Togo, America and Brazil in their
academy. "If you can't sign them at a younger age then we try and concentrate
on countries who are still producing excellent football players," argued
McClair. "It's easier in a way to get a foreign boy than it is to get some of
the local boys into the academy."

The other way has been to seek more effective ways of developing the talent at
their disposal. United have sought to shift the emphasis from physical and
tactical development towards more skills-based coaching. As such, they have
employed a skills coach, Dutchman Rene Meulensteen, to indoctrinate their new
generation with the tricks and flicks of players such as Ronaldinho and their
own modern skills disciple, Cristiano Ronaldo.

"We looked to a situation further up with the English boys where worldwide or
European players had a better ability to beat opponents one v one," said
McClair. "We tried to address that and we brought in a skills coach. There's
evidence to show that the golden age of learning is roughly between the ages of
eight and 12. If you put those basic principles and abilities into boys at that
age, they maintain them. After 12, it's been proven that it's very, very
difficult to change anything about them.

"The technical, tactical and physical become more important the older the boys
get, but at an earlier age a lot of it is to do with skill factor, and playing.
We believe there is a place for coaching but we also believe that there is a
massive place for learning by playing. People learn from seeing other people
doing things and the television and internet are fantastic avenues for boys to
be able to see these images and then, hopefully, go out and practice them."

United currently have two young Scots in their academy, 18-year-old right back
David Gray who made his debut in the Carling Cup earlier this season and
16-year-old left winger Danny Galbraith. Both players were signed from Hearts
at 16, the age at which English clubs are allowed to pay a compensation fee to
sign a youngster from north of the border, and are seeking to emulate
countryman Darren Fletcher's route to the first team.

Galbraith, who is also making an impression at Scotland under-17 level, signed
a two-year deal at Old Trafford in the summer and is revelling in the company
of his boyhood idols. He cites Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs as role models and
explains that the club's willingness to integrate all aspects of the club allow
him to mix with them on a regular basis.

"One of the main reasons I went to Manchester United is because everyone mixes
together," he said. "The first team and the youths all eat together and there
is no distinction between the groups like there is at some other clubs. The
boss has said that he regards every player at the club, whether youth or first
team, as equal. So that means you can talk to players like Giggs and Ronaldo.
They often come up and ask how you are getting on."

As a creative player, Galbraith speaks warmly of the club's emphasis on
self-expression. "We are encouraged to run at players and take them on. If it
doesn't work first time, then we are encouraged to keep on doing it. At Hearts
it was more based on playing to instructions rather than expressing yourself.
You will never hear one of our coaches shouting at the touchline.

"Perhaps at other clubs there is more emphasis on the team getting the result,
but the only time when results really matter is in the Youth Cup."

Despite the academy system, United continue to set the benchmark in youth
development.'

[5] Carragher on Rio, sort of
---------------------------------
Posted Thursday, March 22, 2007 by ed:
"I'd love to play at centre-half for England but John Terry and Rio Ferdinand
were probably two of our best players in the World Cup last summer. You can't
really argue with that. For me, John Terry is the best centre-back in the
world. Over the last three or four years, I wouldn't have anyone ahead of him.
Then you've got Rio who was as good as anyone at the World Cup, a £30million
defender, so I am in no position to complain about not playing at centre-back.
You are talking about world-class players. When I come away with England,
hopefully I can learn off them. You are always trying to improve."

[4] Lawrie Sanchez on Jonny Evans
---------------------------------
Posted Thursday, March 22, 2007 by ed:
"Jonny's development with Northern Ireland was perhaps the precursor to him
getting a move to Sunderland. He might not have come to Roy Keane's attention
playing for Antwerp after making his debut against Spain. The Belgian second
division is not the greatest standard in the world. But now he is looking good
for Sunderland after playing for United in pre-season and for their reserves."

[3] Bale on transfer talk
---------------------------------
Posted Thursday, March 22, 2007 by ed:
"I'm not interested in all the talk going on at the moment, nothing has
happened, all I want to do is keep playing and enjoy what I'm doing, so I'm
happy with that. I just keep playing football, no matter what the opposition. I
don't feel pressure because I love playing football. It's what I want to do. I
don't take much notice of all the talk and speculation. I'm not fussed about
it. I enjoy playing for Southampton. It's my club. I stay in touch with my
mates from school, who are in the sixth form now or at college, and have plenty
of banter with them. That helps make sure I don't get carried away with things."

'MUTV has substituted the Manchester media agencies which it uses to win and
retain subscribers.

The dedicated Manchester United television channel is switching its account
from city centre-based Connectpoint to the Didsbury offices of
TEQUILA\Manchester.

The transfer follows an extensive pitch including a number of agencies and ends
a five year relationship with Connectpoint.

TEQUILA\Manchester, part of the TBWA\Manchester stable, will start work
straight away on the account.

Commenting on the win, Fergus McCallum, chief executive of of
TEQUILA\Manchester, said: "MUTV has great potential. We're excited to be taking
the brand forward with campaigns that really appeal to the fans."

Sameer Pabari, managing director at MUTV, added: "TEQUILA\Manchester's
creativity did it for us.

"We felt that their breadth of thinking and understanding of audience were key
attributes to offer MUTV."

MUTV is designed to bring fans closer to Manchester United with exclusive and
insightful documentaries featuring interviews with the most important people in
football past and present, a daily news service, full coverage of the manager's
press conference and live talk shows with United legends including Lou Macari,
Paddy Crerand and Denis Irwin.

The MUTV studio is based at the heart of Old Trafford both physically and
mentally.

MUTV covers all United's matches from the first team and reserves to the stars
of the future in the Academy.'
