gnu Make: "symbol xxx multiply define"???

Hi,

I was try to comiple a little program using GNU make. The *.o file were
generated ok. But then it gave me some errors like:
        
        ld: xxx symbol xxx multiply defined.

What is wrong here? I have one single header file that is included in
every *.c file. In the header file, I do have the
"#ifndef...#define...#endif" thing.

Please help.
