yes, although when I wrote that I was really thinking about talking to his
existing (was it access) db.

don't get me wrong, I totally agree - how do you think that script came
about in the first place? It was a quick and dirty hack to fill a need.
Perhaps my comments about Net::SMTP were misplaced. I guess I'm just
trying to encourage good programming practices. I'm not saying I follow
them all the time myself :)
