Hi Cliveb and Mark, Thank you for the follow up. Yes, indeed I mistaken what your guys mean. I thought foobar will lower the replaygain based on the peak. I would prefer to modify the tags directly rather than the database. Most of my files are in flac format. Do you know if there is software that could do the adjustment or scanning? I also thought about just changing the value manually by using foobar's advanced edit function. However, foobar store the replaygain as +/-db while the peak is a fractional number. Do you know how to calculate the -db value from the fractional number? (i.e. say...a value of 0.97 is equal to how many db from peak?) thanks.
