I am getting ready to buy the Duet after hours of due diligence and then I come across this thread. I read it entirely. Now I wonder if SB will have any trouble sorting my classical albums, especially since I do not see a way to list by Album Artist.
I am ripping all my 500 CDs (60% classical) with dbpoweramp, using FLAC. I am halfway thru the process and here is the tagging approach I have taken. Album artist Album Artist Track # Track Name Composer Genre Comment Here is how one of my classical albums will look. Lets say its a Beethoven Violin Concerto by violinist Kyung Wha Chung, conducted by Georg Solti and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. I fill in the dppoweramp boxes as follows: Album artist Beethoven Album Beethoven Violin Concerto Chung Artist Chung Solti Chicago Symphony I suppose that if I use the composers name at the start of every ALBUM name I should be fine, right? I know theres some duplication here, but I want to be able to sort in a number of ways. Obviously, though, I would prefer to see my folders by ALBUM ARTIST first, at which point I could drill down to find the work I want by that composer.
