i can't define peace of mind any better. i guess i just have an obsessive compulsive type of personality when it comes to the playback of my music. i've spent many, many thousands of dollars for my two channel system. in the very back of mind, playing back flac always leaves me concerned that some miniscule manner of audible artifact might be present due to the "decoding" or "unzipping" process, whatever the best term is.
