I use EAC->Mp3Tag->Foobar2000

EAC rip to flac, which obtains tag info from freedb. That gets basic track
num, title, artist, album, year, genre.
I tidy any of this info that is incorrect in EAC, so it submits updates to
freedb, along with AccurateRip data.

I then eject CD and start ripping/transcoding the next.

I tidy up using Mp3Tag. That includes capitalising each word in the aritst,
album, track title, adding total track info, renaming filenames to %tracknum% -
%title%, add any album artist tags or compilation tags. I also set YEAR to the
year each song was originally released (if it's a compilation album). I fetch
artwork from Mp3tag, which can get from Amazon or discogs.com, and save as
folder.jpg.

Mp3Tag is the best tool for this. You can configure it to add ReplayGain tags,
but I use FooBar2000 for that. That's because I am then streamlined, because I
can then start editing another ripped album, whilst it is calculating
replaygain info.

So, I can be ripping, editing tags and calculating ReplayGain for three albums
simultaneously.

When I've finished a batch, I copy the final folders (one per album, not one
per artist) into my root music folder, organised by \Genre\Artist\Album\ or
\Compilations\Album.

I then Refresh MusicIP, then then Rescan SC.

No need for GUIDs, ISRC, PUID, or any other nonsense - waste of time ( in my
opinion ;-) ).
