Sorry people, I thought I had figured it out but I didn't. I have tagged several Various Artists albums and they all show up fine in the Artist list.
But now I have an album from 1 artist but now with guest artists for each track different. Example: File: B.B. King - Deuces Wild (1997)\01 - If You Love Me (feat. Van Morrison).mp3 Tags: Album Artist: B.B. King Artist: B.B. King (feat. Van Morrison) Title: If You Love Me Compilation=0 I would like to see B.B. King only, for this album, in the Artist list. So as in the AlbumArtist. But I see each track's artist showing up when I browse by artist. On the SB I want to see the Artist tag (with the extra "feat." info). And I would like to have the (song)Title tag clean because my SB displays "TITLE (ARTIST)" and I want to avoid double information in the display. I tried all combinations of these settings: --------------------------------------------- | | List compilation albums under each artist |X| Group compilation albums together | | List albums by all artists for that album |X| List albums by band |X| Treat TPE2 MP3 tag as Band | | Treat TPE2 MP3 tag as Album Artist --------------------------------------------- What I expected was that when Squeezecenter sees an album artist, it displays that in the Artist list. If there is no Artist, SC displays the Artist. But it doesn't. Not clear for me what SC does with AlbumArtist info . . .
