This sounds to me an awful lot like you saying "I won't use the feature,
so it's not important to me" about binsize. Just because you don't see
it as important as other people, you're suggesting they're hiding behind
it and inflating its value to themselves.
Please, for the sake of this discussion, let's assume people are being
honest about their reasons for objecting to things, rather than saying
"People are lying about why they're against the idea and claiming it's
binsize rather than them just not planning to use it." If we go around
accusing people of being liars we'll never get anywhere, because
nobody's statements would mean anything, all of them potentially being
such lies.
It doesn't serve the community or this discussion to assume dishonesty
in advance, and without any proof other than your personal feelings on
the matter.
