Perhaps that's not such a horrible idea. I've always been interested in what new projects people are undertaking and what direction they're attempting to steer their game.
I for one, have built, torn down and re-built my game numerous times over the past 10 years. At last count (which was nearly 4 years ago now), I was on my 47th rebuild. My ideas changed globally and it was easier to rebuild than to attempt to undo and/or expand on what I'd already done. Now with my recent lack of access to my code, I'm getting ready to start another rebuild. Yippee! So... I believe most of the new mud generation turn to Google LONG before they join a mailing list and thus find almost all answers on starting their muds in the zillions of pages of info out there (like the archives).
