I got my first set in 1961 from "Al's Camera Shop" on Allerton Avenue in the Bronx. Al's sold very few cameras, I remember it having AF trains, Plasticville, other toys, stationary, and greeting cards! I bought a few other items there. I also went around the corner to "Honig's Parkway" on White Plains Rd. They were a discount appliance store.-Roy
