Good morning,

here the final results of my PPC box:

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The following tests failed:

        sage -t devel/sage/sage/calculus/calculus.py
        sage -t devel/sage/sage/calculus/desolvers.py
        sage -t devel/sage/sage/combinat/root_system/
weyl_characters.py
        sage -t devel/sage/sage/functions/piecewise.py
        sage -t devel/sage/sage/graphs/graph.py
        sage -t devel/sage/sage/gsl/ode.pyx
        sage -t devel/sage/sage/matrix/matrix_symbolic_dense.pyx
        sage -t devel/sage/sage/modular/abvar/abvar.py
        sage -t devel/sage/sage/modular/abvar/homspace.py
        sage -t devel/sage/sage/plot/plot.py
        sage -t devel/sage/sage/rings/number_field/
number_field_element.pyx
        sage -t devel/sage/sage/schemes/elliptic_curves/
ell_rational_field.py
Total time for all tests: 69821.1 seconds

I ran again "number_field_element.pyx" and it passed (though it had a
strange failure message)!
>From a first glimpse I am pretty sure that will be the case for all
the others, too.

So we have something hitting us sporadically here, and certainly not
on the "mathematical" part of Sage (since no Monte Carlo algorithm or
such is involved). I'll see what Dan Drake (other thread) reports
after the weekend and open a ticket with a hopefully "clear"
description.
I am one of those having a box where this kind of nuisance can be
observed, so I'll stay in touch with that.

Conclusion:
Good work done from everybody for 3.1.2!

Cheers,
gsw
