I just checked on t2.math. Indeed, it has GCC 3.4.3 installed under
the directory

/usr/sfw/bin

Indeed. Now that we know that t2.math has GCC 3.4.3, we do have a
machine to test on.

I don't know about that. Better check with Bill Hart on the minimum
version of GCC for compiling FLINT.
