No FLINT only requires C99, so 3.4.3 is fine I believe.

I think FLINT 2 will drop the C99 requirement as it is a damned pain
in the neck, as MSVC is no C99 compliant. Probably by the time I get
FLINT 2 release they'll release MSVC 2010 and spring C99 compliance on
us, only 11 years after the standard was ratified.
