Yes, you got it right.
You need a SMS capable phone and a
plan.
But that is just the beginning. I've got the phone, the
plan and the cable,
but the phone, a Sony P800, will not accept any +C
commands.
I'm still researching.

Cingular service does the unit I hook up to the server have to be Cingular as
well? Any urls to info about this whole SMS thing ;-)
