But, Gautham has mentioned in the interviews that he is hoping his collabration with ARR will continue. I sincerely hope so. The visuals were stunning in VTV. ARR should work with him more in order not to waste his soulful music to cheap visuals. At the same time, we should not complain much because we do not know the real scenario of choosing a music director for a movie. At times, the director's hands are tied by other factors. Lets hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Personally, I think it will be a super-hit movie. It has all the elements that could satisy the audience. I think songs are well discussed before and they are far too excellent. BGM was just mind-blowing. Could you imagine Musthapa Musthapa song in it? It was an excellent placement. Just a simple WOW!!! Gautam's story was an intense love story. The climax was a mixture of class imagination and logical. Some will complain about the climax, but think again. It could not have been better presented. Hopefully, all the movie buffs will make this movie a successful one. Hi All, I guess this is my first mail to the community. I just saw the movie in Devi. I think this movie more than anything else, the credit must be given to ARR sir and the way his music been visually presented. For the past 2 years or so, not all the Music given by our ARR was given this much visual. It was not that extravaganza and all. It was simple, gentle, neat presentation. I think Gautham is having his best sync with ARR than Harris. I dont wanna compare, but his visualization is at best when he is doing with ARR than Harris. I havent seen a song with such a beautiful visualization than OmanaPenne and Hosana.. The BGM is simply awesome. Those beats that go around the Dolby speakers when that boxing scene happens is simply awesome. I hear from people that the Rock - jazz kind off music (Jessy.. Crazy), something like that comes with the BGM.. I dono exactly what kind of music it is.. but I actually enjoyed it a lot. It has got mixed up well. (from my blog) Just came home after watching vtv here at Loehmanns. Cool and calm romantic story with awesome music and wonderful cinematography. AR has given life and soul to the film. The music carries the scene straight into your heart. I didn't expect this from Simbu, totally a different side of simbu revealed, esp. when he narrates about her in NY Central Park and in another scene where he controls his tears and then breaks out. Great Simbu!. Trisha is lovely ;-) and very good acting too Have to mention Ganesh, comedy on the go. I enjoyed the fight sequence too. A good twist at the end. Definitely have to acknowledge Goutham's guts to deliver such a film. I personally had some Nostalgia in few scenes ;-). Overall, if you go without any expectation, you'll like it. Just watched VTV...i can say..awsm movie..it feels morea complete real life story...most of th scenes are my own real life story..it really hurt. about title editing...WoW... Tamil names in white letters and English names as its shadows...tat was great ..ther was a big applauses while showing ARR's name. No words to describe ARR's Bgm in the VTV...1.Hosaana Bgm played while karthik says his love to jessy at first, 2.Yen idhayam lady humming without chorus and also Yen idhayam flute bgm. 3.aromale lady bgm, I am crazy about you Bgm , 4. Rakyesh Omprakash should take a cue from this, after knowing how he wasted such a beautiful song Rehna Tu in his movie. I did see many restless people in the theater, but they were all silenced by the brilliant ending which elevated the movie's status. a different cinematic experience for tamil audience altogether. Not just album art, one of the CD is different. Earlier release had Zubeidaa instead of Jodhaa Akbar. I personally dont really see point of these kind of compilations. It would have been great if some music company had released ARR albums in packs if original CDs were out of stock. In addition, Rs 400 (or $ 20 for western audience) is not cheap price. Amazing! Wholesome! The wait has been all very worth it. The BGMs bring life to this movie. So glad Gautham is working with you now. Loved how Mannipaya was shot in the movie (especially the beginning- lighting boat,river, Keral - wow!) Leaps ahead of AR's last tamil venture, Sakkarakatti. Got a chance to watch the movie yesterday. Loved it and feel that this is one of the best movies that ARR has been associated with during the last 2-3 years. Full credit to Gautham Menon for picturizing all the songs. As expected, the BGM was good except for the rock-ish Jessie song which seemed to be out of place. Female version of Aaromale was a surprise. Hope that ARR gets the time to work in all of Gautham's future projects :)

There was a Rahmania Concert organised by Mr. Pravinmani in Chennai. It was a rocking one, as we got to hear ARR songs, which we normally dont hear in an ARR concert. It was a rocking one. The main highlight was to hear Aaromale live from the one and Only Mr. Alphonse. He is a gem of a person, really really down to earth. I was very happy meeting him. I watched it yesterday as well. The movie has it's moments, but overall felt it was a bit overrated. The BGMs were exceptional. Loved the cello BGM of Kannukul - fantastic! The movie was 2 hours and 40 minutes long ( approx) , but felt like it was a lot longer than that. Rakyesh Omprakash should take a cue from this, after knowing how he wasted such a beautiful song Rehna Tu in his movie. I did see many restless people in the theater, but they were all silenced by the brilliant ending which elevated the movie's status. a different cinematic experience for tamil audience altogether.
