[Bacula-users] Running a group of scheduled jobs
Hi, So, I had a problem with Bacula (actually I just forgot to feed it some tapes). A few days worth of jobs piled up, and it made a big mess with all of the snapshots each job runs, so I just restarted Bacula to kill all of the jobs. So, now I want to run all of my scheduled jobs that should have ran on Sunday (my monthly schedule). Is there a way to run a group of jobs that are in a schedule all at once? I'm hoping there is an easier way then doing a 'run' for all 50 jobs in bconsole. Thanks in advance! --Marc - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges. Hi, I have a Spectra Logic T50 and run about 50 jobs each night. The tape library has 2 LTO3 drives. Lately it seems like at the beginning of the night, one of the jobs will sit and and keep a drive waiting for a volume all night: 07-Dec 02:24 escabot-sd JobId 8280: Please mount Volume "97LX" or label a new one for: Job: espizarro.2007-12-07_02.00.55 Storage: "T50-Drive-1" (/dev/nst0) Pool: Daily Media type: LTO-3 Even after all the other jobs are done, it never mounts that volume by itself. I'm not actually sure why its waiting for that specific volume anyhow, there are other appendable volumes in the pool. I don't really remember Bacula doing this with other versions in the past. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks, Marc - SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. Hi, I am using Bacula 2.2.6 with a Spectra Logic T50 tape library (with 2 LTO3 drives). I have about 20 jobs that are run nightly, allowing Bacula to run multiple jobs at once (one on each drive). Here are my configuration files & log: http://esweb.mcc.edu/~marc.smith/bacula/ This seems to happen somewhat randomly, usually happens to a few of my jobs each night. Other nights it doesn't happen to any. I can't really seem to reproduce the problem reliably, I happened to get lucky this time when I started 2 jobs. Here are the errors: 27-Nov 17:20 escabot-fd JobId 7784: Fatal error: job.c:1811 Bad response to Append Data command.
