[JAWS-Users] thunderbird and latest jaws 12
Ok, I have just tried thunderbird. Bit early to say as yet but here are a few things I cannot get to work. It wont read messages automatically, even when slected under verbosity. Silence when deleting a message in the list, it does not automatically read the next message in the list. Constantly having to move up and down in list to get messages info announced. I could not find an attached attachment within a message, not sure if that was because it was taken out by program security or what. Generally it looks pretty good and there is not a lot of unnecessary info being announced all the time. Anyone else taken a look yet? Any ideas on automatic reading? Thanks Patty, I just went into a music folder and went through the steps and a list.bat or txt file was within folder with all the names. What I did in past was that I would highlight each song press f2 key copy to clipboard then repeat and append to clipboard to make a list of all songs. This is how I made a list of songs that I would burn to a CD. [JAWS-Users] I can not open my attachments now
Hi list, Happy Easter. I hope someone can help me. I have put the latest Jaws update on my vista computer and have installed IE9. Using windows mail, when I now try to save my NFB newspaper attachments, when I press ALT F. and down arrow, it says save attachments unavailable. When I do a shift-tab while in the email, the attachments are there. If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate it. Everything else is working very smoothly, especially IE9. Re: [JAWS-Users] Transact SQL
Hi Ann Marie, Unfortunately, SQL will not be used on the mainframe. It's used in our enterprise environment, and I think it'll be accessed through SQL Server 2003. Oh, I love mainframe programming. COBOL, CICS, JCL, all of it; and the mainframe environment is very friendly. I'm afraid that SQL Server is less so. I'll be able to use the latest version of JAWS; I just don't know what to expect once I get there. I will likely learn SQL in any case, because it will enhance my career, and eventually we will move away from the mainframe. Have a great day. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Ann Marie Medlar Sent: Friday, April 22, 2011 3:50 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Transact SQL Hi Nancy, I programmed on mainframe for about 20 years.
