Did this question ever get answered definitively? Shelly, CS and antibiotics do not cancel each other out. This is definitive. You can take it to the bank. I do have a question or two for all you shinolas out there in Listland. What is the usual metabolic fate of CS? How long does it last until it is oxidized to Ag+ ?? And then does it preferentially form an oxide (thereby making it an excellent redox catalyst), an ionic salt (e.g., to Cl-), a ligand, lock on to any endogenous chelating anions or diols &c., or is it simply snatched up by albumin or other protein? Or even by GSH (reduced glutathione)? How would it attack various microorganisms of interest--especially those that are cell wall deficient? What about the odd oxidation states of Tetrasil (+2 and +4) as the oxide and is it truly antiviral? Silver salts can be reduced into several allotropes. Is there a difference in physiological effects? I can give a pretty good guess at some of these answers. Is there anyone else out there who'd like to sort it all out? Terri, Everyone is different due to bodyweight so I am told. I know Marsha took 3 mouthfuls a day and that helped her. Right now I am trying to get my body balanced with acidophillus to see what is from that and what is left of the lyme. I did take it three times a day and was up to an ounce or so at a time, maybe more, but that was the low (5-6)ppm. I am taking 500ppm and am taking a tsp at a time. If you are feeling good just try to increase every two weeks until the symptoms are gone and then continue on for a couple of months just to be sure. Would like to introduce myself. Live in N.S. and suffering from FM and Environmental Illness, etc. Recently discovered through tests that I suffered from H. Pylori. Was put on Pennicillan, and two other strong antibotics. Was told this is an infection in gastric tract and could eventually lead to more serious problems. These medications led to more serious problems and a suffere attack of Candida. Am presently using Nilstat. A friend has given me a bottle of Colloidal Silver., with instructions: one ounze every second day. Could anyone who has experienced some of the above conditions give any suggestions as to amounts they took and any side effects. Have searched the Web and noticed a couple of negative reports: one being a type of skin condition which sort of alarmed me.is this a rare case, or common problem? Sort of between a rock and a hard place: my body will not tolerate medications and have to do something soon.Hoping someone can supply some information.clyde Clyde Spicer -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. CS>WaterOz???
ok... must have missed something what is WaterOz?? I had a "typical Lyme EM rash" a few months ago and was treated with 4 weeks of oral doxy. Then my "MS" symptoms improved (yes, I "have MS" dx some 7 years ago...) but I was back to square one within 2 weeks off the abx. Doc then put me on 3 weeks of Rocephin. I again got to the point I had energy and was able to walk with a walker (I'm in a wheelchair) Rocephin stopped and once again I am fading back to square one. Doc won't give anymore abx 'cause "anything would be dead by now" and besides the Lyme tests were neg... (heard that one before??) So I guess any treatment is in my hands now. (Given my insurance, going to other docs is not an option) I have been reading these posts for a while now and am a bit hesitant to make my own silver. the whole dosage/ppm thing has me a bit confused. and now "WaterOz"??? This relates to a 'normal' of 0.021 mg/kg or 270 times the 'normal' level. I have 18 Amalgam fillings, which makes my mercury levels 0.208 mg/kg or about 9 times normal. The silver from amalgams should be about half the mercury level. Tin levels are 2.3 times normal with 5.29 mg/kg which would also be from amalgams normally. I suspect the extremely high silver levels are mostly from the silver colloidal that I have been making and taking at 2-3 teaspoons a day of yellow colloid at about 50k ohms in a bottle cap. I havn't had any colds or flu since I started the silver. I also have an unusual 2 times normal silicon reading that I am at a loss to explain. Does anyone have any ideas or input for me? Silver is filtered from the blood by the liver and excreted in the feces. If Dan's taking silver in and it is *not* accumulating somewhere in him, then that's where it'll show up. Since the people from whom the "normal" silver spec was derived were probably eating the standard modern diet, we can guess that they are not getting anywhere near the amount of silver that their bodies can use and eliminate, were it available. So "normal" may not be particularly useful except as a standard to measure the success of his supplementation. This is a really interesting bit of data that helps confirm what proponents of CS have been saying for awhile. It *is* eliminated by the body and therefore does not pose a threat of argyria. Re: CS>progress report.
I suspect I wasn't taking enough acidophilis to replace the friendly bacteria that I believe was killed by large doses of Colloidal Silver. When to much friendly bacteria is killed, Yeast syndrome occurs and can mimike many of the Symptoms of Lyme - including Chronic fatigue. The same happens with either potent or long term use of Antibiotics if the friendly bacteria is not replaced.I also noticed my appetite dramatically decreased. Maybe this is also related, since Friendly bacteria play a role in digestion. -Original Message- From: donna2...@aol.com To: silver-list@eskimo.com Date: Tuesday, October 06, 1998 2:27 PM Subject: Re: CS>progress report. >Can not enoough acidophillus cause fatigue? >Donna > > >-- >The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. > >To join or quit silver-list or silver-digest send an e-mail message to: >silver-list-requ...@eskimo.com -or- silver-digest-requ...@eskimo.com >with the word subscribe or unsubscribe in the subject: line. > >To post, address your message to: silver-list@eskimo.com > >List maintainer: Mike Devour > > -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. Re: CS>Reid/herx/Nick
Donna, I just started on the WaterOz and there is a difference in taste and reaction (My wife said it bothered her throat when she took it, and she can tell without looking, if that's what's in the bottle) Perhaps its more potent? I'm not sure, but I've been taking 1 tablespoon 2x a day for about a week now, but I'm going to cut it down to once a day.I have not noticed anything different in the way I'm feeling--so that's good!! But if you're "herxing" now, I think you should start with less. When I was herxing really bad, I found that if I cut back on the amount I took, the Herx was less severe. The WaterOz was $60 for a gallon with shipping. The CSPro CS is $100 for 5- 16oz bottles delivered.($16 per bottle plus shipping) so the Water Oz is 1/2 the price. I'll let you know how it goes. All I know is I never want to feel the way I did a year ago with the Lyme. Let me know what you decide to do. Nick -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
Re: CS>proper dosages
Mark, CS should be taken according to body weight for lyme. I do not have the url as to where to find this. Anyone on the list have it? I know you start out of what is recommended and then increase every two weeks until all symptoms are gone. I also am taking it for lyme. I use to make my own and have switched so I will let you know if I find a difference. Donna -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. CS>colloidal silver protein
>> Does anyone know how to make Colloidal Silver Protein? > >Yeah, Dr. Farber and his people? > Generally speaking sprouting process is used to make protein bound minerals. Get a sprouting kit at the local health food store, and buy some alfalfa seed , then grow alfalfa sprout with colloidal silver water. Vitamin companies dry them and make them into tablets to maket. But raw sprout may be better for you, even though very short shelf life for commercial stores. In E. CS>proper dosages
Hi All- I've been taking CS now for a few weeks but I can't seem to get into a routine where I can decide how much to take of what PPM to cure my lyme disease. I've taken about 3 tablespoons of 20-30PPM per day for a few weeks with no herx reactions at all. Should I up my dosages at all? -Mark ___ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
