CSFalse tyndal effect?
John, Thanks for the reference to the Hach Manual. I had used the formulas of Lord Rayleigh, which are only the first step in the analysis and over a century old now. Rayleigh's equations sufficed to explain the behavior of light in aerosols well enough to design successful tyndallometry in WWI gas warfare countermeasures. Matthew

Re: CSWalgreens Vaporizor!
Dear Walt: I have found that you MUST remove the CS from the ultrasonic vaporizer right after you use it and rinse with plain water. You may even have to scrub the transducer lightly with a cotton swab. If you do not do this, the CS will deposit on the transducer and it will not work the next time you try to use it. When I store the CS after using it in the ultrasonic vaporizer, I run it through the coffee filter to catch the debris that was created in the process. I think the black stuff is silver coming out of suspension. The CS that I use is mostly ionic and therefor I see very little silver deposists. I have used this very successfully for many years in clearing up sinus, throat, and bronchial irritations. - Original Message - From: walt kort...@skybest.com To: Silver-list Silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Sunday, November 30, 2003 10:37 AM Subject: CSWalgreens Vaporizor! Whereas synthetic hormone preparations such as Synthroid contain only the thyroid hormone T4, the natural desiccated porcine thyroid (which more closely resembles our own thyroid hormones) contains not only T4 and T3 but other factors that we have yet to understand. In my practice, when a patient has symptoms consistent with low thyroid function, I start him or her on a six-week therapeutic trial of desiccated thyroid, regardless of what the blood test shows. I use one-half to one grain of natural thyroid. I carefully monitor the patient's mental and physical status and, if indicated, increase the dosage by one-half grain. I use blood tests to ensure that TSH levels are not too high. This echoes what I have read elsewhere on the subject (in books and on the internet)... that it is better to use natural thyroid...(Thyroid in Canada, by Parke-Davis, Armour Thyroid in US)... In addition, it appears that in many people who are diagnosed as hypothyroid, the thyroid gland is actually producing enough T4. The real problem is that the body is not successfully converting that T4 into T3. It is T3 that is absorbed and utilized by the tissues, not T4; so blood tests that show enough T4 circulating throughout the bloodstream do not necessarily indicate anything about the person's real condition. Re: CSWalgreens Vaporizor!
If there's a cycle that allows ionic silver to dry on the parts..or if you ever run it dry, it will oxidize and make black stuff. It's harmless and pretty much inert but can be hard to clean up. The particles won't form oxides. CSFalse Tyndall effect?
Hi, Members of the List! I did a simple experiment towards putting the Tyndall effect on a more quantitative basis. I put equal amounts of CS in two test tubes, then put an equal amount of DW in one of the test tubes and stirred it thoroughly. The two test tubes were placed side by side in a glass beaker and enough DW was added to the beaker to overcome most of the refraction due to the curved surfaces of the test tubes. Then I shined a laser pointer through test tubes at the same time, and in both directions. The result was a Tyndall effect diminution in the diluted sample that was just barely noticeable. I attribute this to the Weber-Fechner law, which says that physiological response varies as the logarithm of the intensity of the stimulus, not as the intensity itself. If this is the case, naked-eye observations may be quite as useful as photometry readings. Incidentally, the Weber-Fechner law is also the basis of observation of stellar magnitudes that were started by the ancient Greeks but remain useful to this day. Matthew

CSTest Results
OK Folks Here it is from Frank Key, unabridged in bold [ouch] print as promised in the light of operating truthfully to the best of my knowlege [That's the kicker] These results were obtained using the lastest version of the series 2 silverpuppy generator [gtsb1] to run batches. I have no idea how they apply to previous versions except that they are set to shut down at nearly the same conductivity and voltage references within .06 volts and 100 ohms. Other phenomenen I've never seen before seem to be happening with the B1 having to do with abnormally high [but repeatable] conductivity drops in storage along with the lack of a corresponding visible TE development. Date: Mon, 01 Dec 2003 11:16:27 -0500 To: Frank Key fr...@colloidalsciencelab.com From: Ode Coyote coyote...@earthlink.net Subject: Re: Test Results In-Reply-To: 001501c3b784$84740d30$1001a...@pent424k My reply to Frank Key: Your uS readings are very close to my re-calibrated PWT [ie, PWT is working properly] Here's what I recorded. [Experiment run to show heat effects on PWT readings showed about +1 uS change per +10 deg F. as 'worst case average'] Batch #122uS at finish @ 91.1 deg F 11.1 uS in 8 days Very faint TE with little change during stabilization period [an unexpected occurance seeing the amount of conductivity drop...possiblymostly very very small particles not into red laser range of visibility? Super-conductive unstable ions] [This is an unusually high drop in conductivity leading to some speculation that the B1 version is doing something different than previous versions..the usual is about 4 uS not 11 and with the development of a pretty strong TE which didn't happen with the B1] What I figured using Trems uS x 1.2 fudge factor...[silver making process is virtually identical except for temperature] At first, [I supposed] virtually all content is ionic, later, forming most of the non conductive particles which accounts for conductivity drop over time. So, I used the initial conductivity at finish to do the calculations. 22uS - .8 uS [initial water conductivity] - 3 uS [for 30 deg max heat soak effect]= 18.2 uS x 1.2 [fudge factor] = 21.84 PPM Apparently this is in error even though ion to particle 'ratios' look about right. Any idea why? Batch #2 20.5 uS [at finish @ 94.9 deg F] - .8uS [water] -3 uS [heat] = 16.7 uS x 1.2 [fudge factor]= 20.04 PPM Stabilized for 8 days at 12.8 uS Batches #1 + #2 averaged; 21.5 uS - .8 uS - 3 uS = 17.45 uS x 1.2 = 20.94 PPM But I see that the average 'stabilized' PWT reading is the more accurate. Average = 11.95 uS [x 1.2 should be 14.34 PPM] But it's not. Any idea why? You say: 12.6 uS If I subtract .8 uS for the water, I get 11.8 uS...pretty close to the 11.29 total PPM you came up with and accounts for why PPM is a little lower than conductivity. [That which was adding to the conductivity of the water wasn't silver] There's something going on that I don't understand...like maybe relationships of conductivity to PPM aren't the least bit reliable? I've got the sinking feeling that every batch is going to be different [except that these were virtually the same]...or a PWT is totally useless where PPM is concerned. So much for standard fudge factors too. [No reflection on you, Trem..it just didn't work for me.] I'm getting a distinct taste of crow pie...and even the feathers aren't black like would be expected. So be it. ..now to get busy. PS Thanks a bunch in advance for the particle size distribution plots. HDPE should have not taste, it should not be solubile at all. For some unknown reason, some bottle manufacturers want to add plastercizer to HDPE, which is totally unnecessary, since HDPE is almost waxlike to start with. If this is the case, you can easily get the plasticizer out of the bottle by baking the bottle in an overn at 150 F for 24 hours. If you do that, then any plastic taste should be gone if you use it later for CS. Marshall esl...@aol.com wrote: Would it put it be correct to say that ionic silver can react with plastic containers? Re: CSTest Results
Ken, Sorry, but I can't make heads or tails of Frank's test results--can you translate them into plain english? I'd like to know, not sure if my Ole Bob thermal stir series 2 is the same version you made your test batches with, but I am having the same large (almost half of the PWT reading at auto shut off) drop in uS after a few days storage. I had been kinda surprised a the large drop in conductance. But given my idiosyncratic problems making clear CS, I just had figured it was something unique to here. Re: CSPneumonia
Gladys, The dosage for a nebulizer is about 5 milliliters per treatment, you should treast 4 times a day. In addition, you should also administer 2 fluid ounces orally, three times a day. Dr. Bill Biagioli

Hi Vitale, About 25 years ago a friend of mine showed me a small book on the Grape Cure. RE: CSHelp for Hepatitis C???
Bruce Marx N.D reports success in treating Hep C with CS. Since it takes about a daily bathtub full of 10 PPM CS to give a standard 150 lb person a toxic dose of silver, the main limitation is financial. This is not very significant compared with conventional medical costs, even if you spend $500 on a good generator. If it were me, I would be doing about a quart a day. RE: CSWhy the yellow CS - an hypothesis
What do you use to observe the stirring? I mean, do you put a glass on the heat source and add something to the water so you could see the stirring effect? I have actually seen the effect with flakes of silver in the water when I didn't wipe the electrodes and let it run for about 3 hours. Looked neat. I just wondered what method you used to observe cause I get asked how I know it's working all the time and I would like to show those who inquire without having to use silver. Jeff -Original Message- From: Ode Coyote [mailto:coyote...@earthlink.net] Sent: Sunday, November 30, 2003 8:08 AM To: silver-list@eskimo.com Subject: Re: CSWhy the yellow CS - an hypothesis Yes With a hot spot in the center bottom, heat rises fast in the center as it is shed along the outside perifery which makes the cooler liquid sink, further reinforcing the central updraft. Going the other way with liquid cooling [vs heating], you get pretty much the same central updraft as the cool liquid on the outside edges sinks, forcing warmer liquid up through the center and back around to the outside top. Preheating and allowing to cool works pretty well for stirring, but tends to peter out as the container gets cool too fast. Both directions ..hot to cool or cool to hot..give the same thermal torrid in the same direction. So, if it seems that heat is gaining too much, Let it cool and you still get a thermal stir effect. It's not heat itself that does the job, it's the thermal differential, or difference in heat. Which also means that a cool room adds to the effect. In a cylindrical vessel heated at its lower end, the steady-state convection will be an updraft vertically along the center axial region, and a downdraft along the periphery of the cylinder except for cooling losses at the top surface. A glass lid will diminish the latter loss, thereby increasing the convection down the inside periphery of the vessel. The result is more stirring without additional heating.
