Chesapeake Amateur Radio Service (CARS) - W4CAR at the Great Bridge Battlefield
& Waterways History Foundation's (GBB&WHF) 4th Annual Waterways Heritage
Festival. This festival has also been designated as
SAD
Just fired up the station. That is the same thing that happens when K4AMG
is demo at schools and events. Just not enough OSCARs in our widow FM 16US
when the students are around. But we are so lucky to have what we GOT!

I did make 2 OSCAR SKN QSOs. Both on FO29.
The first was with Glenn AA5PK in DM91.
The second was with Frank K9CIS in EM59.
Both QSOs were brief. There is not very much CW on the OSCARS these days,

I am not a constant user of the sats, but I notice this with both some CW

Since the up link is at -10Khz( a lot of twisting of the XIT control, can
the buttons on SATPAC program compensate. Seems like + and - on the
buttons change both up link and down link. Using TS 2000.

offer a special certificate four young ham radio operators 19 and under.
This certificate will be free. To qualify for this certificate just send

We will be operating April 9 - 11. We will not operate on April 8.

Our TS 2000 is experancing problems running 1/2 power on 2 meters. Tonight
could not capture FO 29 with a great pass.
That might be the end of our W1AW/4 VA effort.

Hi Patrick,
K4AMG MARC is sponsoring SATCOMS in your own back yard at a local library on
May 3rd. We will be on the air starting at 1200 or 1300 UTC - about 2100
UTC, and have a forum for STEM students and families. We are borrowing a
CUBE SAT for the forum.

Norm K4NDH has build us a new trailer to carry our prtable antenna system
around, so everything is disconnected.

Hi All,
K4AMG will be demonstrating SAT COMS on May 3rd at the Major Hillard Library
FM 16. Will get on the air as close to 1100 UTC as we can. We will also
have an HF station operating. We will also try a HAND HELD /P station on
SO 50.
At 1600 UTC we will hold a FORUM in the library mee
Are the KEMPS available on the web are do you have to manually down load?
What is the designation on the down load?
