have looked at the local home depot and found a thin
3/16 product but that is too stiff. We need

like fiberglass door panel blanks in longer length

I had the same problem with the package tray being cut out by the previous owner
My fix was to make plates out of 16 ga steel with the right speaker cut outs
but big enough to cover the entire bad area. I riveted them in place from
underneath so you don't see the rivets sticking down from
