FinWin 2005b
Well, I've been with Finale since v.2.0. I remember some issues with
filenames with Spanish "ñ" and accents (the files were deleted when trying
to save them), but always had a backup. Now, I lost several hours of working
when something very weird happened.
I was working on an new fil

No. Sorry that nobody answered, but you have to put them manually.

Thanks so much - yes, this
It depends on which version of Finale you are using. I believe since
Enhanced tuplets came into the works you can simply right click
(control+click on Mac) the tuplet handle and choose flip and all
brackets angles will automatically change. I believe this only works
for 2004 and newer.
It's kind of sad that Sibelius new features should precedent what we really
need, isn't it? Before a "serious" software should announce new features,
it should certainly repair non-working features (non-working for about 10
years or so.)
Sibelius can do it. Microsoft can do it. Quark can do it.

In FinMac2005 or FinMac2006, select the triplet and hit command-F.
I'm sure there's a Windows equivalent.

I don't think that's what Jacki meant, Aaron. She wanted to flip the

Sure. In Speedy Entry, put the cursor on the first note of the
triplet and hit L.

This may help general performance on systems with limited memory,
especially if you are running multiple simultaneous applications. But
it could also hurt GPO playback performance.
I will experiment with this setting and report back.

Dear folks,
In Mac, if you move the Finale 2006 folder to another location different to
the Applications one, it looses the Finale GPO feature. But if you move
both, it crashes miserably!
So don´t put those apps in a subfolder like I did...

Dear all,
I found an intriguing option in Finale GPO: Lock Memory (No swap).
It appears when you click in the options button to the left of the Kontakt

This has been reported to the admin here. The new semester is slowing the
usual great response I get. Also, we are close to the fallout from
Katrina.
Notwithstanding ("nonostante" for our Italian members), the holiday
weekend, I hope to have a fix soon.
