My reaction is that 50 feet is a very narrow strip of land. That may be all

My first thought was Red-eyed Vireo, but the wing bars quickly ruled that
out. Checking Sibley, it seemed that the closest I could come was a Bell's
Vireo, but even in this warm weather that does not make sense. Any thoughts?

Around 7:30 this morning I observed a Common Loon flying south over County

My best parking lot find was the Eurasian Tree Sparrow. I walked through the
small area in which they are found in St. Louis. Finding none I returned to
the parking lot where one was waiting for me, perched on the curbing.
