Working with ConTeXt MK IV version 2016.07.18, I need sometimes within a
text in French I am working on, some Greek words or sentences, rarely
Chinese and Arabic words, mainly names and a few words.

Yes it it is all greek. Still, this is one of the most important

Yes, but they're symbols, not letters (nor ideographs or characters
from a syllabary, etc.); and they're even less words

If you run the test case below, once with and once without
\statupinteraction[state=start], you realize that this influences the
hyphenation.
Using interaction, the URL is only hyphenated at '/', '.' etc.
Using no interaction, also the words are hyphenated.

I used “infamous” as a funny way to say “not famous, but somewhat
known” (and yes, I know Latin and what the words really mean).
That was my understanding. Infamous=Not famous; that is, not as well
known as others. A slight play on words.

wrongly hyphenated words, and I want to check whether this is due to
incorrect patterns. (I tried the source browser... not much luck so

every word in a document but lang-wrd.lua counts only words with 4+ letters.
So I tried to set "words.threshold = 4" in context/base/lang-wrd.lua to smaller
