There are so many Pentax autofocus zooms of the 28-80 or 28-90 variety that
folks don't know how good the original FA 28-105 is.

I agree with David. Maybe if the camera were positioned vertically low on the
working surface. Using hyper focus you might be able to pick up the hand
activity and the owner's face at least semi in focus.(?)
