Hi,
Personally, I have absolutely no idea why you would want to do an
erase all content and settings on the iPod, only to update to iOs6
afterwards, where you also have the option of backing up (or in this
case not backing up) the settings. Perhaps someone can chime in if I'm
missing something.

There is no limit, you can record until your iPhone's available storage is
full. If you had a 64 Gb iPhone this would probably mean you could record

recording, then check the file size, multiply it by 5 or 4 to get

If you have Siri, just have Siri set the alarm for you. Just hold down the
home button until you hear the tone and say, set an alarm for 6 AM. She'll
come back and say, I've set an alarm for 6 AM. Of course, you can have Siri
set it for any time you want.

Hello, Sandra.
Your points are well taken indeed. One of my doctors routinely phones
in a report about my visit, and the speech recognition software from
which a written report is generated is, he says, first-rate. He once
told me it never made a mistake, and I managed to suppress my

Something along those lines might work if the recording would be played while a
Mac running mavericks with offline dictation listens.
Have not tried this feature yet.
