I'm glad to report that with the arrival of the official release of iOS
17.1 Apple has addressed whatever was causing Westminster Chimes to not
sound unless it was set to appear in notification center. It now works
with the app developer's original configuration. I.E
She is the wife of Tim Tea.

redownload it. Mine is working just fine both in iOS17.0.3 and in developer

If my ageing memory serves me correctly the light version of Westminster Chimes
requires that the app is running, that is to say it is listed in the Task
Switcher. To have the full functionality you have to upgrade to the Full
version.

I got the new iPad Air a few days ago. I did a restore from the backup of my
old one and all was well except that i couldn’t get Westminster Chimes to work.
Everything was set right in notifications. Then it occurred to me that my iPad
might be muted; since the vo sounds are separate, it might

which a friend of mine and I discovered while waiting for its maker to
respond.
