To be fair you have already paid your Mac Tax by buying the hardware.
Microsoft have no such luxury.
Not that I care, Mac to the bone here.

Yes, and unfortunately, we cannot buy the iPhone GS from the Apple
Store, at least its not an option on the online web page. So, it

Unless a reseller has a relationship with a carrier they cannot sell the
iPhone. Even then, they can only sell that particular carriers offering.

Thank you Reg, Daniel, Susan.
I checked all the buttons as directed.
When I next made contact my friend on the PC said his Skype had not

We are now in contact and also with one of my sons in Canberra. What

In addition to Daniel's comment ensure the camera is working successfully with
PhotoBooth. If it does but you are still experiencing issues then I would
suggest resetting the PRAM. (Recommended as it is a common requirement in our

Apple has a good knowledge base article on
Perhaps also a video cam app such as PhotoBooth may have taken control

Also Merv, make sure you don't have the video "muted". There's a button down
the bottom of the video window that from memory looks like a video camera
with a diagonal line through it. (Sorry not infront of my normal computer at

Once you are connected and have your Skype window open, there are a
couple of little icons on the bottom, one of which is a little grey
video icon. You have to click on that to have video.

Yeah, I got an Apple (AU) promotional e-mail stating something to that

Personally, I couldn't get $1000-upfront past my wiser-half. Not when I
