grrr, maybe nikis is haunted I played there sunday and had all kinds of stupid electrical bullshxt problems. we ended up being able to use only one laptop. :(( - Original Message - From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: /0 [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: 313@hyperreal.org; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, June 01, 2004 2:54 PM Subject: Re: (313) the most heard tracks/top tunes @ Movement Yeah, there was this group on the main Sunday (around 6?) that were trying to get the crowd into it and they were doing a cross house/gospel/soul thing. The people sitting in the bowl looked like they were all experiencing general malaise at not hearing techno even in its most homogenous form. I think they would have been happier even with the most commercial trance. Don't get me wrong, the band was really musically speaking as far being musicians, but that why there's the Jazzfest. It was definitely night and day from when Ayro got down on the main stage last year, even with all of the live musicians he had backing him up, you could feel the electronic portion of his set. And when he created his percussion patterns live and recorded them into his set on the fly (very nice). It would have been cool to see Dan Bell in the underground stage this year..definitely one my highlights last year. I went to a loft party Saturday night at Nikki's that was hot as the freaking Congo, but the music was hot. Still don't know who was playing (too fried to ask any questions by that point. It went until seven but around 5:30 this blonde guy came with the craziest combination of sounds and structures that was exactly what the moment called for. At first everyone was thinking he had destroyed his laptop/speakers etc. but it ended up being part of the whole affair. Very refreshing even if the locale was not because of the heat. I'm going to drop all of the pics I took somewhere soon. All in all..really enjoyable weekend... Peace, Alex P.S. Thanks to anyone on here that came out to the Ultradyne show on Sunday. i realy like this edit - but not all of it. i really like where the vocals come in. the instrumental part of the edit i don't like. the reason i like it is that mixing into the original of 'once in a lifetime' can be a bitch. and this edit leaves the vocal part pretty much unchanged from the original but makes it easier to mix into and out of. it's the best re-edit of once in a lifetime that i know of. much better than the masters at work. yesterday i picked-up a comp of old electro - 'bionic breaks' compiled by boris dlugosh (sp?). never listened to any of his productions, but this is a solid round up. half the tracks i already have - man parrish, hashim, newcleus. but the other half are such gems it made it worth the money. Boris Dlugosch has been responsible for some of the (semi?) seminal moments in club music but also in that time he's been responsible for perhaps some music which we on 313 would find amongst the worst kind of club music produced. He's only done about 4 EPs of his own but he must be in the 200s in terms of remixes. He's never shown any great allegiance to the stuff which we would find good for the mind body and soul, it seems to me. At least the tracklist of that comp seems to show some good taste. k

It' was by far one of the most disorganized events I've been to, that is on this sort of scale. The best part, was that no one let it get them down, and everyone had a mad time anyways. TO start, , the festival planning should start in july, not in January. The timing issue is so important when you have a scaled festival like this, with such large out of town support. People in europe want to know they aren't throwing away their money before they spend upwards of 500 euros for plane tix. Even on top of that, the line-up wasn't even anounced until the week before the festival, which kept alot of the parties /people from being able to plan around it. I was talking to Mike from Threads, and he said that usually he gets a stream of customers during DEMF weekend, that is larger than his xmas crowd, but this year was just like a normal week for him. I'm not sure all of the implications of that statement, but I'm willing to bet that the lack of planning on the part of the festival played a major part. dense. upwards of 500 euros for plane tix. LOL if only it were that cheap from here! with costs well over 1k euros from australia. First i want to know i'm going to get into the country and then secondly that a party is actually going be happening. A line up is important well well in advance. I'm not bagging the Movement, good on mr May and Co for such an excellent effort and im sorry i couldnt go. I'm just adding to others comments. Could there be a possibility of artists paying for stages if they don't already or charging for entry? I mean if i'm paying all that money of a stupid air-fare what is a bit extra to guarantee and event happens? It also keep out people who don't really give a damn, and would put rubish in money collection bins. RE: (313) my personal experience at movement
It seems like there's a fair bit of weight given to monetary concerns after each movement/DEMF event - stories of Derrick May hitting his folks up for cash, contractors threatening to walk out and so on... From reading reports, it's apparent that so far the organisers have had to make Herculean struggles to get the event going each year, and perhaps that's part of the whole event - perhaps the struggle is as important as the event itself, or synonymous with it in some esoteric artistic way. It seems to me that the two quickest routes to a less stressful breakeven are sponsorship or charging on the door. I can understand immediately the ethical concerns with sponsorship, but are the organisers so idealistic that they wouldn't ask for even five bucks on the door? Hell, if they're that keen to not charge for an event they could just make it really easy to sneak in (ie not have fences or security solely to keep out intruders) so that the only people who pay are those who feel obliged to do so from their own personal moral standpoint. That seems like a bit more of a pragmatic approach than having donation boxes full of half-eaten cheeseburgers. I'm sure that even if they did that they'd at least generate enough revenue from ticket sales to cover the logistical costs of doing so - at least then they'd still have that seemingly important struggle to contend with! all IMHO, naturally.

I still can't believe that the city doesn't pay a dime. Down here (charlotte) the city pays for most of the chessy music festivals we have and they don't draw anywhere near a million + people. Do any of you guys in Detroit know whether the city helps for other festivals in the city. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, June 01, 2004 4:17 PM To: Erin Bate Cc: 313@hyperreal.org; /0 Subject: Re: (313) my personal experience at movement Well, it's not just Derrick, Kevin Saunderson is part of it as well. (313) Movement Report
A few hundred pictures later we are back safely in London. Hannah and I had a great festival. I thought it was as good as last year or the second year, and really have trouble measuring the greatness of the festivals side by side except to say that the first wil always be the best (as you'd expect) and the third held the least appeal for me personally. Anyway... I think everything I saw at the festival this year was excellent. That was: Derek Plaslaiko Cam Amp DJs Amp Fiddler TP + MoReese Fat Freddy's Drop Alton Miller Ron Trent Danny Krivit Sean Deason Aardvark All Out K Kenny Larkin Electrofunk A couple of scheduling collisions mean I missed a few things I most wanted to see, but... you'll have that every year. Long sets meant it looks like we didn't see that much but we watched most of these acts straight through. Top three highlights of the afterparties were: Claude Young and Shawn Rudiman (unfortunately the only bit of that I caught) Mathew Jonson Live Carlos Souffront Only huge dissapointment was the Osunlade no-show. :( All told, I think the thing that will stand out the most for me about this year's festival was how funny it was, like: May is Drinking Water Month in Detroit Derek Plaslaiko playing 'Baby Got Back' The Japanese fella and the chicken-white-girl-hater wrestling The Hard Rock Cafe playing Rob Hood on its outdoor speakers Derrick May on a golf cart with bullhorn in-hand, demanding people's money Kenny Larking getting heckled for a comedy routine The cleaning lady at the Shorecrest showering Pittsburgh and Iowa with a trash can Argh... I'm going on far too long. Need sleep. Full report with loads of pics forthcoming. Big ups to technotouring friends new and old plus the Detroit folk who make this happen every year. (313) Movement report (for alex :P)
i guess this is mostly for you alex...hey! it was a fun weekend, tho i forgot how much festivals freak me out. too many people. too many nasty people. too tired to be around so many people. most everything i saw at the festival i enjoyed, tho i didnt see a whole lot. saturday it was novamen, who were fantastic (nice alden tyrell covers too! they revealed later that during 'love explosion' they were singing 'f*ck alden tyrell' and other disses hahaha), legowelt (whose sound sucked unfortunately, until the last 3 or 4 songs)...came back after dinner to hear jaylib and pbw, all very nice, pbw played lots of nice disco and funk stuff. jaylib were jaylib! sunday, arrived to hear the end of louis haiman's liveset on the mainstage, which was phenomenal, beautiful and deep, very very transmat..then over to duplex who were excellent as well. took a break to go to submerge, came back for orlando, great tracks and great mixing, terrible sound...also there were so many ravers down there it got me really depressed. so it was nice to watch ron trent for awhile (where there were virtually no phatdawgs, and great sound), lots of great prescriptiony house and loads of other good stuff i'm not remembering now...jamie principle, fingers, a dancemania thing or two, eddy grant, etc. then tried to watch some francois k, he started with ur but from there it was really hard and boring. wish i had known T!M is frame six, and owner of grammar, he has great taste in techno and makes very very nice tracks himself, but we left without checking.. monday, aardvarck and all out k were very nice, lots of hiphop and dope broken beats from aardvarck, lots of nice house from all out k. nice relaxed audience/atmosphere. kenny larkin played a couple nice tracks but was mostly banging and boring, and the sound was once again too loud/bassy (very good during aardvarck and christiaan tho). kai alce was great, loads of good house and old disco etc..genesis live was great, superb drummer, great band all around, they performed that betty wright song from the omar s. record..missed most of electrofunk live but what i saw was so dope...kevin saunderson was godawful, started with drexciya intro from drexciya 4, then spastik, and big fun and red 3 were in there somewhere, but everything else was trance/progressive, realyy bad...kevin reynolds was insane good...probably the liveset i enjoyed the most of the whole festival. recloose started with some nice songs, no ufo's, carl craig remix of la funk mob, but it was time to leave for the ur party. afterpartiesminto was a madman at the wheel fri night and we arrived at the green light go party way too late to get in, so we went over to the ayro/recloose/john arnold etc one, and had a great time. nice interesting stuff from ayro (great live keys!), extrmely good liveset from john arnold! i love all his housier stuff especially, and just a great performer..nice to run into the rh guys here too. only negative was that there was some sleazy gay dude in the audience who kept trying to bump n grind with me and several others from my crew.. no afterparties for us sat night, just late night denny's. sunday night tho, novamen and ultradyne (we missed jan d, mesu kasumai, jan d, counter couture, and polarius/speculator)...just an incredible time, awesome stuff from novamen, better than their movement performance, and ultradyneinsanethe sound was thru some pretty pathetic peavey speakers unfortunately, but the quality of the music...damnvery close runner up to the ur partyas for that, not even worth describing, deserves better words than i can say..best liveset i've ever seen, best show i've ever been to... techno brings people together was fun too, shake was cracking everybody up...i agree with that guy. nice dj'ing from strand, nice songs from scan 7, very tasty food made by trackmaster lou, great set from mitch walcott, great people. as always meeting people and seeing frieds was the real highlight of the weekend, nice to finally meet matt macQ! jwan! jason! shawn! curt, adam, tom and all the other technoirs, kent, john o, alex lugo, toronto and vancouver peeps, laura and silvan from paris...and to see again dan sicko, shake, yusef, kj, gabe, bethany, tommy, everbody..and especially all the dutch people who spent most of the time with, stefan (who had all his gear with him but nowhere to play! :(), aida, kj, danny, ingmar and overdose, corine, christiaan and antal, chris john, mike kivits...and really great hanging with philip mcgarva mr microworld the whole weekend..deeply regret not getting to meet robin and chris, and that alex, stewart, tom (?) and everybody else couldnt make it.. my only real complaints are that it was very frustrating that the sound on the underground stage consistently sucked, and that the overriding rule for the sound guys was to make everything as banging as possible...but generally, is

RE: (313) my personal experience at movement
Yes the city does help out with some of the other festivals But there is also tons of sponsors at other events, the booth rental rates were too much for a small business to jump on at least for me. These were the cost $200.00 to the city for license $2200 for the 10x10 booths with no sides $3700 for the 12x12 booth with sides. so on the low end a small business would need to sell $2400 worth of merchandise just to break even. So for me it was not in my budget. There were no major sponsors at all, a couple years ago Ford was a major sponsor, and I work for a big computer company that moved downtown last year and nobody approached them. These are they type of sponsors they need the clothing stores are cool, but they don't have the same level of money to put up. The economy is bad, yes but all the resources need to be tapped. Now we have the pontiac techno house music festival july 11-12 which I plan to attend, but the real question why start a new festival instead of joining forces with the movement festival. And maybe it's just me but the name change from demf/movement needs to be properly communicated-did anyone notice that some restaurants/bars had old demf signs up. I know that's petty but I noticed it. Also I think everyone in the city with a small record label needs to contribute so that a city wide effort is put forth. The logistics were poor, mainly due to city politics there were politics involved last year, but this year they interfered with the festival, so it was out in the open not behind the scenes like last year. Re: (313) Timeline (WAS RE: (313) Movement report (for alex :P))
Hi Alex! No, we didn't record it...we usually never do. If the people putting it on want to, that's fine with us, but we don't ususally have time to bother with it. Thanks JT for the props! Like I said when I met you, it's always nice to put a face to the ASCII. Yeah, the sound at the show was indeed very sketchy..no monitors to speak of, etc. but hell, we're so used to something being wacky at our shows that you try do your best to deal with it. Not as much fun as the Cleveland show as far as our own personal enjoyment, but definitely a bigger crowd, so that's cool. One of our fellow 313 peeps (who shall remain nameless) almost managed to get himself thrown out of the UR gig for taking pics. He was able to stay after deleting said material from his camera. He said the venue was interesting...white walls and no smoking inside (there was a back patio). That's about all I got out of him..:) Peace, Alex Man, I keep hearing how good the Timeline show was...can anyone get us a fairly detailed report on it? Tracks, venue, crowd, etc. Also whether Mike had a balaclava on. Thanks. Yeah, I need to know what colour socks Buzz Goree had on as well if anyone has a minute. ; ) I know this is a bit of an ask, but does anyone know if they recorded this party at all? h, I hope they did. or how's about the Ultradyne? Alex did you record it? or flippin 'eck, did anyone record anything? _ - End of message text This e-mail is sent by the above named in their individual, non-business capacity and is not on behalf of PricewaterhouseCoopers. YES! I listened to a sample online and that's the exact track. Thanks so much for your help, I appreciate it. Now for step 2...it seems this song is not available for purchase on CD in an unmixed version. Does anyone know if it's available for commercial download anywhere? Thanks again. They must be going in some form or I would have expected Derrick May to of released something by now. As I understand he is still tied into a contract which he can't resolve with them. RE: (313) my personal experience at movement
The government in the city is so f*cked up right now that even if they wanted to support this festival, they really would not have the money. Now there's the scandal with the mayor (check Metro Times for the drama). The city does not support the hip hop summit, the mayor does. He's on the panel every year, which is a bit pretentious when the panel usually includes the likes of Russell Simmons (picture Kwame Kilpatrick on the panel anything dealing with techno and you'll get how ludicrous that is). I seriously think he does the hip hop thing gearing up for his next career when they boot him out. I don't think the city is deliberately milking us, but they are deliberately letting something that obviously brings a lot of people to the city go down the tubes. Granted, they are not the only ones at fault. I for one, would argue that if the majority of the festival planning was completed in a timely fashion, tickets should be sold if that's what it takes. I don't think we would complaing if we all had to pay 50 bucks for the whole weekend, or something like that. If it give the organizers a budget to work with, it should happen. They just have to come correct: get the lineup set, maybe even take some interactive suggestions from the fans, come up with the lineup, set up pre-ticketing, then go to some sponsors with some real numbers. Nothing would impress a company more that some real numbers; not the fact that it's a free festival and that a lot of people come each year. And like someone said on detroitluv, have someone with a keener pulse on what's happening in Detroit and elsewhere in the world to work on the lineup. Too many trumpets and not enough Akai, Roland, etc. gear on the main stage this year. It was interesting to note that the slogan this year on the banners was Saving the world from bad music. If you're going to put some sh*t like that on a banner, back it up with extreme prejudice. And although many people talk about it, there is an ego monster killing this from within right now. If these people can't work well together, they need to move on. Everyone, including us, needs to wake up and realize that the idea of a free festival, while noble, was unrealistic from the get. Derrick May also needs to realize that he needs to stop being a martyr (bringing up how the festival is free to anyone that will listen..we know this) and make people pay to come see this, but also give them something folks would be willing to drop 50-100 dollars to experience. It's pretty sad when you have consistently better techno being dropped at a booth (Nefarious) that in the main bowl. On a positive note, I thought the crowd was a bit more balanced this year and all in all the weather was markedly better. Monday was a sunny day that reminded me of the first festival. Peace, Alex I'm not saying anything negative about the Derrick,Kevin and co.. it's my city Detroit I'm talking about the city does not support the music like they do other events, just a couple weeks ago they had the hip hop summit, which was supported. The city sees our event as a chance to milk us listeners for the money, but not kick out any... These are the same reasons why many artist have left the city... -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, June 02, 2004 10:48 AM To: Steward, Tim; 313@hyperreal.org Subject: RE: (313) my personal experience at movement was Red Bull there this year? These were the cost $200.00 to the city for license $2200 for the 10x10 booths with no sides $3700 for the 12x12 booth with sides. so on the low end a small business would need to sell $2400 worth of merchandise just to break even. So for me it was not in my budget. There were no major sponsors at all, a couple years ago Ford was a major sponsor, and I work for a big computer company that moved downtown last year

The UR party was in the Detroit Summer Youth Space building. The party was a benefit for the Detroit Summer Youth Space, hence no smoking in the venue -- kids are actually in there during the day, and it is probably best that we didn't leave it smelling like a bar. It was a decent venue (though more ventilation would have been welcome), and the sound was good. The big room out back with no ceiling was wicked with the moonlight streaming in -- that's where they're 'raising the roof' quite literally for their computer lab. Timeline live was a transcendant way to end the weekend. I hope that they continue to pursue live performances because they can only get better. If I was going to get picky I'd say that they were a little over-generous with the noodly bits. But f*k's sake it's MAD MIKE DOING THE NOODLING. RE: (313) Movement
Music highlights: -Shake @ Green Light Go on Friday. He played way housier than I've ever heard him, and it ended up being a great set. -Cabanne @ Green Light Go. Nice minimal dubby techno. Perfect patio music. -Dan Bell @ GLG. A little faster than Cabanne, but still hot. -Alter Ego live @ Ghostly's The Three Fates. Hearing 'Rocker' live made everyone go crazy. And thanks to the Masons for a beautiful venue, lol. -Matthew Johnson live at Yel. Easily the best live set I saw all weekend. -Highfish @ the Underground stage on Sunday. I can't even explain what he played, except by saying it was sick. -Ryan Elliot at the Underground stage on Monday. He's easily one of the most talented newer djs in Detroit right now. -Mike Servito at the Techno Boulevard stage/tent. He should have been playing one of the main stages. -Magda and Troy Pierce on Monday night. Despite some serious sound problems, the music was still great. They played mostly unreleased material all night - their own plus run.stop.restore plus apparently all the white labls they'd received in the past few months. With all the great music there is out there, it's amazing to see how much more is floating around that we may never hear. -Kai Alce on Monday at the Music Institute stage. It was nice hearing someone play all those great deep Detroit tracks and actually mix them seamlessly. His set was flawless. I didn't really hear anything that I *didn't* like during the weekend. I was excited for Aardvarck but I expected more technically and some of his track selections were questionable (i.e. if you're going to play Bjork, at least play a good Bjork song). And Kenny Larkin opening up with a Ben Sims record? He played way harder than I anticipated...not sure if that has to do with his L.A. experience or simply wanting to shake up the crowd a bit after a very downtempo afternoon at that stage. The crowd did seem more mixed this year, although I will say that the younger contigent seemed way younger. While some of the best music was being played at the Underground stage, it also seemed to attract some of the most, um, narcotically influenced members of the crowd, to the point where it made being down there unbearable. It was also good seeing Tristan and meeting his lovely girlfriend, as was meeting Matt McQueen and Dan Sicko. Overall, I think I spent less time at the festival this year than any, although I did still have a good time. Working at the media check-in I got to see a lot of the shennanigans going on backstage, and at certain points it got a little scary (scary as in will the festival even finish out the weekend). But I don't think the impact of the disorganization went unnoticed by May et. al., and I really hope they feel like they never want to have to go through a weekend like that again. It was a little sad getting back to the hotel at 8am on Tuesday morning knowing the weekend was officially over. _ MSN Premium: Up to 11 personalized e-mail addresses and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-capage=byoa/premxAPID=1994DI=1034SU=http://hotmail.com/encaHL=Market_MSNIS_Taglines

fwded for scott. -- Original Message -- From: Scott Kraemer Ellis [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Wed, 2 Jun 2004 14:03:11 -0400 Tom, would you post this since 313 isn't posting for me right now. Thanks. The songs I picked up from Timeline were Amazon and the Transition/Inspiration thing. They also did a housy thing that sounded like an old Soul City track. The experience made me aware that I need to become more familiar with the UR cannon. The soul/gospel jam at the end really really cooked-- this was the greatest single moment of the weekend for me. Mad Mike's skills would have fit right in at any gospel church in the city. As for the venue, I totally loved it--it was about 4 blocks from my house. The space is owned by an affordable housing developer (CCNDC) and they rent it to Detroit Summer (for whom the show was a benefit to raise the roof, literally). Detroit Summer does community projects like urban gardening, bicycle repair, and many other cool things. The building is also rented to Idle Kids who are an anarchist youth collective. So, basically, the place has so much good karma it's ridiculous. Got to see one of the UR Z records up close and personal when Suburban Knight dropped it at the UR party--clear blue-green vinyl w/ giant Z on it and a small black UR logo in the middle. Dope wax. Kenny Larkin dropped what I'm guessing was his new material at the end of his set on Monday--right after Shades of Jae. Can anyone confirm this? Hopefully a recording of this event is forthercoming. ;-) On Saturday night at Centre Street Theo dropped some song with a simple vocal about flowers--he brought her flowers or something like that--which was so beautiful and completely dope at the same time. Of course there was tons of good stuff in his set--that one just stands out. If anyone knows the track I'd greatly appreciate an ID. Kai Alce was amazing. Saw him at City Club on Sunday and again at the festival on Monday. He spun some very tasteful vocal and instrumental house and just murdered the dance floor. I think Danny Krivit played strictly off CDR at the City Club. There were some good and some not so good remixes of Shelter and King Street tunes in there. One that stands out was a remix of Big Moses, that's how much I love you. I must have heard Groove a la Chord at least 5 times on Monday--Kenny Larkin, Rolando, Buzz Goree, Rolando again I'm not complaining. ;-) Saw DJ Nobu from Japan on Friday at Centre Street and he just rocked it. Some killer beatdown style house. Really nice guy too. Scott Original message Date: Wed, 2 Jun 2004 13:42:13 -0400 From: Thomas D. Agree 100% with all that. He was definitely a really skilled pianist. I think the gospelly track showcased that the most but it was evident throughout. And the other dudes, did they all fit, were they tight as a group? What about Dex? Any particular highlights of the set? rolando deejayed with them, not dex. That was Santiago Salazar DJing before them, and Dex was the guy on the two CDJs during the live performance. the others were buzz goree and suburban knight, one on keys and one on a drum box of some sort. Rolando, Buzz Goree and Suburban Knight were the other DJs billed, which is where I think the confusion may be coming from, as their names were flashed on the screen throughout. From what I can piece together from Keleigh Casper's In the Flesh article in last week's Metro Times with a picture of 10 UR peepz and my dim memory of the dimly lit show, the other keyboardist was Unknown Soldier. Not sure about the drummer. the guy on the drums was way hot. Yeah. That was an octopad he was playing I believe. Think it's a Yamaha drum pad. He played that really well! the other guy on keys was damn good too. they were really really good. inspiration with the transition acapella over it was hot, as was hi tech jazz. they dropped a few bits of classic electro (numbers, clear) in with some of their electro cuts (cant remember the names, sorry) which was very fun. definitely the best possible way to end the weekend. From what I could tell (I could be totally wrong), most of the tracks were coming out of the CD players, with added bits coming from the keyboardists and the octopad. I imagine these were semi-stripped down versions of the tracks to allow the keyboardists a bit more room to play. But this is how 'Numbers' was brought in if nothing else. Dex kinda faded it across while the live bits continued atop it, then he faded back to get back into the other track, 'Return of the Dragons' IIRC. There were a few really amazing moments in this show, but I was in a horrible allergies-gone-wild + too much smoking phlegm evacuation state to really enjoy it with the thickness of the air in there. I had to step outside a few times to avoid fainting. The overall sound was about what I expected. The noodliness got a bit much for me in parts, but the stripped-down bits really hit the nail on the head for me. Ilana Weaver AKA Invincible did a cool rap to an Interstellar Fugitives track (someone told me that's what it was anyway). I'm gonna be totally in the minority when I say it didn't blow me away, but I'm glad I saw it because there were some really memorable bits there. The one thing I think is sort of strange is that in that Metro Times interview, Mad Mike says he didn't want to show off their music at the festival because it goes over better in small spaces, but I think that's precisely where I'd like to hear something that was so much of a 'jam', if that makes any sense. At any rate, I'm sure the more adorring fans can fill in more of the blanks. I'm only really into a couple handfuls of UR tracks *that* much, so I enjoyed it about as much as I thought I would! Those who love UR would definitely love this show. $.02. Tristan === http://www.phonopsia.co.uk [EMAIL PROTECTED]
