[AI] Possibilities of attempting the NET exam independently

Hi all,
I intend to write the NET next month, and was wondering if anyone on the
list has written it independently, without a scribe? It's an
objective-type, computer-based test, and it isn't exactly a leap of logic
to think of making it accessible, is what I'm thinking. But when you fill
up the form, a scribe is the only disability accommodation offered to blind
and visually impaired candidates. I'd like to know if anyone's ever
petitioned the NTA to allow blind candidates to write the exam
independently.

I wanted to know if there's anything I can do at this point to either
enable this for myself next month (very short notice, I acknowledge), or
just to push for this in the long term? Because I would really like to.
It's unfair to not offer people the choice, and it's particularly unfair on
the people who aren't anywhere near proficient at working with a scribe
(I'm one of those). Any inputs that folks here could offer would be really
helpful.

intent of enabling online transactions on my Debit Card and seeking a fresh pin 
for my recently renewed Credit card.

 

The links Transact, Invest, Request were not to be seen on the site. For me to 
access my intended actions I need to access the Request link.

 

Any ideas? I use NVDA. People at HDFC cannot help since they simply do not 
understand navigation using screen readers.

Dear George Sir,


I was moved to the new HDFC Bank website in end-March & am able to 
access all options with JAWS without any major problems.



I am giving below the steps for accessing the Change PIN option for 
credit cards using JAWS. I think that the process would be similar with 
NVDA.



1. On the main page after logging in, press H for moving heading by 
heading. The first heading is "OFFERS". Move up with the arrow key to 
Credit Card & press space bar to open the credit card page. When moving 
up from "OFFERS", you will go through "Loans", "Mutual Funds" & "Demat" 
before reaching "Credit Cards".


2. On the Credit Card page, press JAWS key +F7 to bring up the links 
list. Select the Change PIN link & press Enter to open it. The steps to 
change PIN on this page are same as those in the old process.

Just logged into the HDFC portal, the new one. I am a credit card only
user. The earlier portal was better in terms of accessibility and ease
of use with screen readers. Some options, including redeeming reward
points, I couldn't easily locate on the new portal. So defenitly seems
like some issues...

source the fact that there exists no company by the name of Inno
Vision.
Remember I was the first person to give feedback in this very platform

through telephone conversation.
