In addition to what everyone else suggested, you should be able to power
these with either a powerinjector+sync (4 ports), or a rackinjector with
the standard injection card with standard CAT5.

Yeah, the eNB pulls 30-ish watts. Cat5 is good nuf. Not much different

possibly too much loss or something with the MTC suppressors added in.

The new eNB coming out will have a standard terminal block and two
SFP slots. I'm planning to use the Shireen DFP-1246 with that.

2017-10-23 Thread John Seaman
Hi Mitch, Cambium 820c will do this, provided you can coordinate the
frequenciesrequired. As others suggested, you probably want to go with lower 6
GHz with 60 MHz channels. This will need to be a 4+0 configuration for 2 gig,
but you can start off with a 2+0 (dual core radio) for your 1 gig for starters.
In the end, you will have two 2+0 systems (XPIC most likely) on the same
antenna, which is nice for redundancy purposes. If you want us to take a look
at the path hit me up off-list john.sea...@cambiumnetworks.com.

Nylocks... On top of the nuts... We had a panel that "blew through"
it's frame. That took about 95-110 knts sustained. It was an older
135 watt panel, and the 230 next to it made it through. I figure it
was a lot of how the wind was hitting things in front of the panel. We
now have superstrut mounted mid panels and mount horizontally instead of
vertically to keep the force from top to bottom lesser as the force
horizontally should be more uniform. We also went from 1/2 inch
superstrut supports to full 1 inch.

I'll bet a lot of the damage to the PV solar arrays were blown debris
failing the panel mounts more than the mounts themselves and of course
when they fail, you get more blown debris... Surviving panels probably
had some kind of relief from debris...

more years, and many more storms until we needed to add a few more

902-928 is primary radio-location, secondary hamateur, and tertiary ISM
in the US (and Canada?). But yeah, most of the rest of the world it's
licensed which is why you typically see lots of antennas for 800-960.

So about that primary. We had a railroad beacon two blocks away from one
of our towers. Narrowband high power (30W EIRP or something like that)
around 911-912. PMP100 on an omni with about 5 customers. Didn't work
anymore. Couldn't go high in the band, too much paging bleeding over.
Smart meters/grid. 900 is getting more and more worthless every day.

We just started deploying Wispmon because it used Mikrotik and supported
HotSpots. Now with Sonar, they don't support Hot-Spots. I'm told to call
Brightwifi but my techs have talked to them several times and they keep getting
told that other calls are coming in or someone is walking into a meeting within
a minute or two and they never call back Nothing personal but there is no way
I'm deploying Bright WiFi if that's how bad their customer service/presale
support is and apparently they don't need new customers. It's good to be busy,
it's bad to diss companies that are trying to give you business.

So, we are ready to ditch Wispmon, have no interest in deploying Sonar since it
doesn't have the features we need, and find something that can use Mikrotik
devices since we have so many egress points. We already wrote one in house we
deployed for MDU units so I'll upgrade it if there isn't a better product
available. However, if there is something else out there that can do WISP and
Hot-Spots, I'd be very interested in looking at it immediately.

I have a desktop that has a C drive that is only maybe 200 GB.

D drive that is much larger.
Today I tried to upgrade adobe and it had to use the C drive and it
said there was not enough room.

I ran into a full drive problem last week on a different computer and
loaded a program called WinDirStat.
Makes it very easy to see where all the crap is and makes it easy to
clean and delete.

Easy to drill down and find the bloat.

I don’t think I mentioned this here before, if I did just blame the
mad cow disease.

[AFMUG] Small Handholes with Swing Arms

2017-10-23 Thread Carl Peterson
I'm trying to source small handholes with swing arms for either the
Clearfield YourX or Coyote DTC4 terminals.

Either Carson or Channell like the ones here:
http://www.te.com/commerce/DocumentDelivery/DDEController?Action=srchrtrv=1349650=SS=English

I can find part numbers for the Channel ones but can't seem to get a good
quote for them, possibly because Channell seems to be all disorganized
right now.

Short of secondary references to them, I can't seem to find the swing arms
for the Carson ones.

Does anyone have a source where I can actually buy either of these? I need
to order 24 of them ASAP, preferably with a lead time of less then a month
but I can possibly deal with 45 days.

CableFree have jus launched the new Diamond product.

www.cablefree.net/diamond
Up to 2Gbps full duplex, using 2048QAM, wide channels and XPIC. Full
outdoor integrated radio
Currently shipping in higher frequency bands.

For lower frequency bands the existing CableFree HCR product stacked to 1+1
= 2Gbps would be great too.
