I´ve just uninstall my version of OO beta 3.0 and from the site http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/download-form.php downloaded and installed OO.org-3.0.0.rc4 (after the installation, in the Help/about in OO the version OOO300m9 is shown). And in this version the reopening of a calc file which is in the same time used by another user on the LAN fails - this means i did not get the messege, the file is in use! I checked it right now 2 times and it does not work...I get the messege (and possibility to open it as red only file) only the first time i open this document. After closing and reopening it, there is no message. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [porting-issues] [Issue 93913] Open Type fonts handling i n German version of OOO3.0RC1
To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=93913 --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Oct 21 06:54:28 + 2008 --- Hi hdu, please correct the link - it points to this issue itself. Now that OOo 3.0 final is available, I have to note that the error is still there - the german version does not show the fonts the same way as the english one. So I am not sure if this is only a general problem with the handling of OpenType fonts; there seem to be some code inside the localised versions that differs from the original one. Or have you got any other explanation for this really strange behaviour? - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Create some Headings 2. Create a TOC upon here, all works fine, the headings appears in TOC and in navigator 3. add Numbering to your Heading Paragraphs - Numbering is fine, (ok, numbering will not be inherited by Heading1 if defined for parent "heading", but this is irrelevant that way) - Headings are "lost" in TOC and no longer accessible by navigator!!! This is a great showstopper that will prevent using OpenOffice in our company atm ;( If this is a "user error" please make it "bullet proof"!! Thanks! It would be really great if this dictionary could be part of the ODF file itself, so that special use words in the document would always be checked against the list. To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=85328 User mike_hall changed the following: What|Old value |New value CC|'troodon' |'mike_hall,troodon' Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Keywords|needmoreinfo |oooqa Priority|P2|P3 Resolution| |WONTFIX --- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 20 22:55:37 + 2008 --- Tested with 3.0 Suspect the reason the formula was left as lower case by Excel is that it's uncomputable (average counts the number of numbers, and there are 0 numbers in your range). If you change the range to include any number (eg a1:b77 the formula works immediately. If you type a number in the existing range and then in the formula in A78 type any character, remove it and then press Return the formula also works. If you type in the same formula to any other cell, you get the Divide by zero warning, which is correct (no numbers in the range). Therefore the defect is not recognising as a formula a string which Excel refused to convert into a formula. I doubt this is P2 and it might be considered more an enhancement than a bug. Tested with Excel 2002. Average over a blank set of cells is correctly recognised and gives the Divide by zero warning. Thus the problem probably arises because of the application which originally wrote the XLS file, which may not have been Excel - it's a bug there not really in Calc. Changing to P3 and setting wontfix because it's a rather unlikely situation. Please revert if you don't agree. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. Clicking on the different tabs, or using the View menu visibly changes the status of both the menu items and the tabs. However, the actual view does not change, but is stuck in whatever view it was in. The last time I noticed this happening, was when I went from fullscreen slideshow to the current view. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. I copy a selection out of Adobe Acrobat reader. I paste the selection into the document I am writing. I then notice that it is in a different font etc. So I hit the undo button. The pasted selection is removed but the font and point size of the pasted selection remains. I would expect that if I was typing in Times new roman 12 pt and pasted a selection of a different font and point size that when I undid the paste I would be back at the previous font and point size. This machine (Mandriva 2009.0 64bit KDE 4) has ISO date set as standard, that is, most apps pick up that I have selected -MM-DD as the default long and short date. I open OOCalc (user interface language, set to default) I enter the date 2008-09-10 I leave the cell, the program changes the entry to 10/09/08 (whatever that means) I double click the entry to edit it the program changes the entry to 10/09/2008 (whatever that means) If I want to edit the date I have to 'guess what it means, so I enter 12/30/2008 (guessing that it is american) press enter oops, it's no longer a date, This is a dogs breakfast. It may have been acceptable to write applications like this at one time but this is a global world, (sic) All it needs is a box for the default date format, ISO will be the world standard one day, but I'd like to use it now. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. The bibus stuff is very hard to debug (it is binary compiled python code). The actual error message points to a problem not related to pyuno directly. It actually says, that OOo has no bibOOo_NoConnect element, which acutally can only occur, when the module OOo somehow exists, but all the bibOOoBase.py/bibOOoPlus.py has not been imported. To, this looks like some other initialization error. I currently doubt, that the office connection code has ever been reached. In order to give more support here, I actually need the exception, that comes from the bibOOoBase.__init__ code. Can you provide such a stacktrace ? When I look into the bibus installation directory, I find a pyuno.dll and a python23.dll. Where are these dlls from ? Do they get used ? This is another incarnation of our usual ref-count problem. In this case, it seems that as soon as you opened a report design which contains a chart object, the database document is never really released, until you close OOo as a whole. You can verify this by just opening and closing the report design (without modifying it), then closing the database document, and then trying to rename/remove the database file: on Windows XP, the only platform where we have strict file locking, the operating system will deny this, telling you that the file is in use. Only after OOo is terminated the file becomes accessible. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. [dba-issues] [Issue 95234] starting to drag-create a control over a non-marked existing control le aves the mouse in some zombie mode

Now, it's pretty difficult to leave this "zombie mouse mode" - you need repeated clicks/releases of the mouse for this. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker. This is actually wrong. The chart in the report is (as you can see when you open the report for editing) is bound to a query which itself does not have parameters, but it has a filter property WHERE MONTH( "tage"."Datum" ) = :monat AND YEAR( "tage"."Datum" ) = :jahr , i.e. the filter (and thus the complete statement which the chart shall be based on) contains two parameters. However, SRB never asks for those parameter's values. If you would put the parameters into the definition of the query, SRB would properly ask for them, however, this workaround is not always an option. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
