Oversee the development of ACS ServiceNow platform to ensure it meets the
needs of business owners and end users (currently 3 departments, 120
licenses). ACS has a broad range of customers with custom configuration and
several integrations. The developer will develop and support integrated
solutions that are easy to use for varying needs, while keeping maintenance
requirements to a minimum.



*Duties and Responsibilities*

   - Duties include both production support (15%) and change request and
   projects implementations (85%).
   - Production Support
  - Troubleshoot and resolve production issues having to do with
  integrations and/or configuration
  - Support normal maintenance including, for example, moving update
  sets, performing clone downs, and ensuring ServiceNow maintenance patches
  have been installed in production
   - Project / Change Request Support
  - Collaborate with the project manager to establish timelines,
  specifications, and budget
  - Determine problem areas within our current framework and recommend

  currently has many outstanding change requests and 3 new teams
to bring on
  board as new case types.  Some development is unique by case type.
  Developer will need to understand impacts to maintainability.
  - Move current integration from email to API.
  - Perform at least one ServiceNow upgrade per year.  Understand
  impacts to current configuration and processes and integrate changes as
  appropriate.
  - Provide regular updates on project status to supervisors



*Requirements and Qualifications*

·   Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology,
computer information systems, or a similar field

·   Strong understanding of database structures

·   3+ years of working with ServiceNow

·   ServiceNow Application Developer & Administrator certifications are
mandatory

Looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow at an
Enterprise Level
They are going to be integrating with Cloud Services. It is a Cliqr
integration
Any experience with Cliqr, JavaScript, AngularJS, REST API’s, Jelly, C++
are all PLUSES

Develop ServiceNow workflows to manage and/or automate repeatable tasks
that are manually performed by Server Administration, Network Operations
Center and other customer teams.
Create ServiceNow views and reports to support process and configuration
management workflows.
Development within ServiceNow utilizing Scripting, System Definition,
Business Rules, Menus, UI/Forms, Actions, Content Management, Imports,
Transforms, Web Services.
Utilize SCRUM SDLC methodology to manage workload.
Experience monitoring and providing analysis for systems management across
multiple operating system environments

ITIL Certification preferred
Previous experience writing Policy/Procedure regarding ITSM best practices
Previous experience with Database reporting tools
Previous experience with Business Process Re-Design/Improvement (BPR/I)
Programming/Scripting experience in Java, Powershell, SQL
Intimate familiarity with ITIL processes, in particular Incident
Management, Service Request, Change Management, Release Management and
Problem Management

The position is responsible for the design, architecture and leading the
maintenance and enhancement of existing ServiceNow ITSM applications as
well as implementation and development of new applications on the
ServiceNow platform. To be successful, one should have prior experience
implementing and deploying the core suite of ITSM applications, as well as
experience developing solutions across the ServiceNow platform that
leverage the automation and integration capabilities of ServiceNow. You
will be the ServiceNow expert working with other IT professionals, vendors,
and process owners to support, maintain, and enhance the service ServiceNow
ITSM application.



*Essential functions for this role include:*

   - Demonstrate hands on expert knowledge of ServiceNow toolset and
   integrations with related systems.
   - Develop, maintain and enhance applications on the ServiceNow ITSM
   platform (help desk/service management, change management, problem
   management, procurement, asset management)
   - Leverage both proven and innovative technology approaches to solve
   challenging business problems
   - Provide technical assessments, written documentation and technical
   expertise
   - Design and enhance reporting solutions both within ServiceNow together
   with supporting tooling configurations and/or functional specifications,
   based on industry best practice.
   - Communicate with the customer in technical/non-technical terms,
   understand their business requirements, and provide suitable solutions.
   - Work on continuous improvement by sharing experiences and knowledge
   with the team.
   - Collaborate with System Administrators and ServiceNow Support
   concerning strategies and technical aspects of platform upgrades
   - Advises on options, risk and impacts on business processes and
   technical architecture
   - Work on the ServiceNow Vendor selection process
   - Primary contact for working with Vendors and providing direction to
   the ServiceNow Administrators and Developers

*Requirements*

   - BA/BS degree or equivalent work-related experience
   - 5+ years of experience as a key technical resource for large scale
   ITSM solutions in client environments of which at least 3 years should be
   as ServiceNow Architect or ServiceNow Solution Consultant
   - Proven successful oversight of several ServiceNow implementations
   - Ability to meet the expectations and requirements of the internal
   customers and senior management
   - Excellent verbal and written communications skills
   - Ability to provides technical leadership and professional guidance to
   managers, team, and vendors
   - Working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP and Single Sign-On (SSO)
   Integrations with ServiceNow Java Scripting
   - DHTML, CSS, AJAX, XML, HTTP
   - Database technologies such as JDBC, SQL
