windvd strucks most of the time while playing this type of dts audio cds.
powerdvd is the best..

powerdvd 7 sucks rarely.. if it happens, go for powerdvd 6.

make you tap your legs and some would make you dance rather than close your
ears as it is the in most cases with other music directors.

You people may be wonderring why am i telling this all these stories! This
is to make people realise what is music all about, how much creativity oen
should have to create a music, not only once but do it consistently all over
the years right from 1992(roja) to till date. No one needs to expalin how
much he achieved over the years, and still being humble is really great.

So stop comparing with other music directors with ARR and let us be mature
enough and discuss something realted to music. If our boss comes to know all
these non sense he would really feel for this, afterall we are here to
support him not to make him feel.

I agree with Mr.Kumaran, i also request the moderators to look out for the
rotten eggs which are spoiling the entire group.
Lets be united and share our music experience and above all enjoy our BOSS
music.

I dont think there is a problem bcoz of orkut groups.. its because the
rights distribution is a problem.. as a moderator i just banned the
ppl who posted the links and i have asked them the exact source from
where it was posted..moreover messages dont have any moderation in
orkut .. the best thing to do is ban and warn those who have posted it
and we have done it .. we r maintaining a database of sites who
provide illegal downloads so there is nothing blaming the orkut
group..

i got info from my frnd who is in cine industry that the audio rights was
given to Star Music and the release date was planned as 26th. The Sivaji
Team was shocked on seeing the leakage of tracks in Orkut. So, they delayed
the audio release and now AVM audio is releasing the audio on April 4th.
Also, they have started investigating about the leakage of tracks...

hey mirza... understand first... dont barge... i just read your post and i
found it to be in general... and of course my message was also in general...
about all arr songs... first understand that i m not telling that arr is not
doing well or his standards have reduced... its all remaining the same...
expect for the aspect of clarity esp in thamizh... once in a while when your
going to give a song in which you concentrate more on music rather than
lyrics is acceptable... but choosing singers who dont know thamizh most of
the time is a problem... of course no doubt their voice suits the song
amazingly... but then u need to concentrate on diction too... and then yes i
did a research... not only about arr but about other MD's like IR,HJ,YSR,VS,
etc...  cos my aim is to become a music director and rahman is my role
model... so i m not just blaming general public... i m such an arderent fan
of him... who would always like to hear more good things about him... but at
the same time its a duty of a fan to inform the negative line of his hero...
and i m sure these messages reaches rahman from this group thro someone
close to him... i want him to be at top always...
(so i think it would be clear that i not only aimed at replying your
messages and waste my valuable time...) and thanks for your peice of advice
which i was happy to ignore...
it is not about bringing in the english lyrics in between or something...
its about the clarity and diction of thamizh words... yes as ROSHAN pointed
Kannathil Muthamittal songs esp vellai pookal sung by arr himself was so
clear and amazing... which is one of my all time favourite... its such a
critically acclaimed song... no one could say anything wrong about the
song... everybody was infact talking great about that song... thats how i
want his songs to be... when it came to songs like DATING another amazing
song, even then i found that clarity was there inspite of the fact, Blaaze
singing... it was in his recent movies if i m correct from NEW... the lyrics
are not heard clearly because of the singers... Hope u understand... and
stop blaming a community just because some X Y Z said something... thats not
right... if they said something, address them directly... not the community
as a whole...

of heaven and earth". i have that audio cd with me.

i dont know whatz the meaning of single word from that album.bcos 
its chinese.But i loved it, enjoyed it and dancing with it daily 
with his music. music is beyond the language. first understand that. 
you can say its a seperate language.

and stop this non-sense.

have you ever tried to follow the lyrics from michael jackson.

no, you cant. bcos he gave the preference to his music and then the 
language. 

you have to enjoy the stylish presentation. 

if you dont like, dont buy the CD/dont hear the music.

The question is not whether ARR killing the tamil or any language. ARR
can kill the music, not the lyrics.btw, he's not a lyricist.

Songs from earlier movies until Kadhalan were good. Unni krishnan got
national award for Ennavale. At that time, lyrics were written by
lyricist. Now A.M. Ratnam writes the lyrics (atleast in telugu)...and
he isn't a lyricist, he's a producer.

So whatever the lyrics are in tamil, ditto lyrics in telugu. I was
laughing when I heard the lyrics of Boys or jeans in telugu. Hopeless
lyrics for a soothing music.

This isn't the case atleast in hindi. I preferred enjoying the song
more in hindi than in telugu, when jeans was dubbed in hindi. Same is
the case for Maniratnam's Yuva. 

So ARR is good and we can survive with his music

Hi Everybody
   
  I am a serious lover of ARR, infact i started loving mosic only because of 
him. I am sure almost everyone in this group would be the same. I recently 
joined this great group(a month ago), from the day i joined I am seeing lot of 
such mails with so many negative thoughts some way or the other critisizing 
ARR's work. For those who doesnt know the difference between ARR and other 
music director is that ARR creates music while others compose music. There is 
lot of difference between creating and composing. Even nowadays many mobiles 
has the feature of composing your own music using some inbuilt sound bits like 
drums,keyboard and so on. That also creates good sound, it doesnt mean that you 
hace created the music, it is just composing.
   
   Every music director 8 out of 10 does this kind of work(composing). A true 
music album is one when all the songs becomes hit. ARR album would contain all 
kinds of music right from fast beat number to a heart melting melody number. 
Even in beat songs you can hear the good beats that would make you tap your 
legs and some would make you dance rather than close your ears as it is the in 
most cases with other music directors.
   
  You people may be wonderring why am i telling this all these stories! This is 
to make people realise what is music all about, how much creativity oen should 
have to create a music, not only once but do it consistently all over the years 
right from 1992(roja) to till date. No one needs to expalin how much he 
achieved over the years, and still being humble is really great. 
   
  So stop comparing with other music directors with ARR and let us be mature 
enough and discuss something realted to music. If our boss comes to know all 
these non sense he would really feel for this, afterall we are here to support 
him not to make him feel.
   
  I agree with Mr.Kumaran, i also request the moderators to look out for the 
rotten eggs which are spoiling the entire group.  

  Lets be united and share our music experience and above all enjoy our BOSS 
music.

Hii
Was just surfing channels when I saw the Provoked song "Saansein" on MTV. Its 
the hindi version of "Alive" by Karen David. Mostly its sung by Shreya Ghoshal. 
Its a beautiful melody...now the chances of audo release seem brighter..its on 
Eros Music. They r promoting as an OST. Mostly will rel after the film...as 
most of the OSTs do..like Black & Eklavya.

I do not want this conversations to stretch.. as I previously mentioned.. do 
not speak on behalf
of the general public unless you have done some kind of a research.. speak for 
yourself.. don't
blame your opinions on the general public... and I do live in London.. and I do 
have enough
friends around India to understand what they think of ARR.. even my friends who 
do not appreciate
his music never criticised him as they do not have that musical knowledge to do 
so... and you have
been writing alot.. but I just read another post of yours in which you have 
mentioned you like to
hear the 40 sec song.. I don't understand you have been writing all these even 
without listening
to the 40 sec song.. I feel you rather spend your valuable time to something 
else than replying
for these posts..

I have poured in my appreciation over a period of 4-5 years but @ the 
same time pointed out if i felt that it cud have been dealt better by 
ARR.

Only based on our feedbacks he can get an idea on what we expect and 
more importantly what to avoid.

   its a pity to read such lousy mails thru this grp ,my point here is 
every member got to be blamed in here ,,,comparison is not a such  a healthy 
way of debating any issues as in here ppl comparin artistic creative work of a 
hand full of composers is not at all a healthy stuff,so refresh urself and do 
some real debates.positive as well as negative aspects of arr shud be debated 
in here ,notin wrong wit it but just by hearin a 40 sec bit of a song no one 
got any right to question the team of creative ppl ,,remember we (at least a 
good %) ppl in here hav no clue abt the amount of work a creative team puts in 
to a project.so juz chill and enjoy the music ,anyways not everyonez gonna be 
satisfiedi personally dont want rahman to compose one more muqala or a 
chikubuku rail,,let the man keep on bloomin,shivaji music clicks or not it 
doesnt matter to me cuz for me arr is some one the youngsters sud look upto and 
say "i wanna live like him".a perfect
 idol for this generation and the next

created uptill now.But that certainly doesnt means we have to blindly 
praise every other works of him.Personally i  find unique about his 
compositions is his brilliant selection of tunes and beats and with 
same brilliance he mixes tracks.He is very bold in giving music 
(Mangal pandey's..mangal-mangal i beleive was an example for this).

But i feel ,group members shpuld not afraid of criticising ARR works 
here,if they honestly feel so.
