Hi Rahmaniacs...
We all call ARR our 'meastro','guru','boss'...
So...it is a fact, that, the guru knows much more than the shishya...right!!!
Even for our reviews ,I think, its too early.
Love ARR with all that he has and not only the "good" things he offers. Good or
bad, we are little less capable of judging his creativity.

Wish people start believing in such thoughts and the worl will be free of lot

THE BIGGER PICTURE IS MUCH MORE CLEANER THAN ANY NARROW MINDED WOULD
IMAGINE...
i'M SURPRISED WHEN PEOPLE WANT TO TALK ABOUT RELIGION OF A PERSON WHEN
ACTUALLY, HE/SHE HIMSELF DOESN'T WANT TO DISCRIMINATE EVER.

I'VE DECIDED, WHENEVER, ANYONE ASKS ME MY RELIGION OR REGIONI'LL SAY "MUSIC
IS MY RELIGION AND I BELONG TO INDIA"
I'M ALSO THINKING OF WRITING IT THAT WAY IN MY NEXT YEAR'S FORM FOR KMMC.

  Guys,
I desperately need to know these things
* How many seats are still left for Foundation [vocal]?
* Who all of us has already secured his position in KMMC?

I'm poised to get my seat there, since, Jyoti M'am has talked with me.

Fani , they took ur auditions?
Is there any change in rules for out-station student wanting seat in KMMC?
They heard me on phone. I'm in Delhi and I have a family. So, I need to decide
a lot before settling down in Chennai. Well, the city is not new to me.

Reply back soon in todays date, yaar.

Re: [arr] How is KMC different from whistling woods?

2008-06-11 Thread NILIMA HARIN BUCH
 Hi Thulasi,
I know very less about Whistling woods, but as far as I know, its an acting and
media school of International level. Here students can learn
acting/animation,direction,editing etc. which are diffrent disciplines of Film
production.

Whereas, KMMC is a conservatory established to develop and nurture talents
especially in the field od music.ARR's main moto is to provide a sound base
of training in music and music technology to those who have passion to learn
,thoroughly, only music. Be it Hindustani,Carnatic and Western classical. In
India there is very less scope of learning Western classical, except for the
peivate tutors providing training and certificate from London school etc.
KMMC will provide a sound training to create awareness of Western music and
music technology, while continuingto respect and strengthen the art pf Indian
music. With KMMC, India will have a full fledged Symphony orchestra and Choir
of its own.

It's my dream to get admission there.Guys pray for me that pass the
audition test.

MY THROAT CHOKED AS I READ UR DESCRIPTION OF UR MEETING WITH HIM .
I too had planned for attending Jaipur concert...but family duties came first
and my wishes took a back seat.
The way this concert is described, it surely must've been a larger success than
the one at Delhi.
Pray for me that I attend the next one at ChennaiI'm in delhi and its very
difficuld but one can always try and nothing better than listening to ARR

Good Design!!!
I would love to buy this tee.
May I suggest u to have another tee with "Heart of Music" replaceing "ace of
music" and the changes in the cards accordingly

Suggestion no.2:
A blue/black tee with "Rahmaniacs" at the back and a design of piano keys in
the front.

Yep!
I too shouted loud 'that's me' when the book was released on stage.
I agree with u in having no ill feelings...
One must learn to be unbiased/critical.
Thanx anyway.

Re: Re: [arr] Highlights of Delhi Concert

2007-11-18 Thread NILIMA HARIN BUCH

I was aghast to read someone mentioning Delhi as a Himesh
territory.
But after reading ur mail I'm able to now believe the 'title' and at the same
time feel sorry for Delhites.
I was at the concert but in the second section and not in front of the stage.
We all ,in that area, had a Blast.
The camera guys should have been with us and would've realised how much people
love ARR
For me, ARR cannot be compared with any composer in the whole world.
Not only because he's got his own style, he is actually the best in the world.
At least ,Himesh does not deserve to be compared to our Lord of Music..

Re: Re: [arr] Delhi concert song list

2007-11-18 Thread NILIMA HARIN BUCH
 Hi,
I was at the concert and we had a Blast
The songs that were skiped include two songs, we were really looking forward to
listening.
1) Yeh jo des hai tera
2) chale chalo
We waited for songs from Taal and Lagaan..
The audience was roaring, but, at the back.
The front guys were too sofisticated to dance and rock with the flow
U should've come to the second section of the audience (the 1500 walas) we were
shouting at the top of our voices, calling all those who came on the stage and
also we were singing all the songs.

Re: Re: [arr] Re: Non-ARR. Please check this out - own composition

2007-11-18 Thread NILIMA HARIN BUCH
  Hey!
I WAS THERE!!
I was one of those lucky semi-finalists who won the tkts to the concert then...
It was out of the world experience!
I was in tears and I cried whole-heartedly when I first saw ARR LIVE in front
of me.
The most humbling part of the whole night was when he said that he was nervous
performing for the audience.
I was mesmerised, just like all the others there and we shouted all the time at
the top of our voice.
We also danced till we fell.
Hariharan and Shivamani were amazing on stage and Neeti did a very good job.
The winner of the 'voice hunt' contest , Parul, sang my favourite song -
'saiyan' form Zubeida.
Will write u more later when I'll come back from the trance of the concert..
