Well I am still trying to find out one reason why are you so intolerrant 
towards this. The one I could guess is you don't like sachin. 
The post had only positive waves which we ARR fans like and nobody here pulled 
even one negative comment on either AR or sachin. And moreover the fans here 
liked it. This being an open forum I don't think it's objectionable to post 
such messages unless it has abused somebody or has posts which aren't true. 
Posts of these kinds are always welcome and it's left for ones thought either 
to accept or reject. If you don't like just ignore  and move on to next essage 
than stressing not to post what you don't like.

point out similarities about ARR & Sachin in this forum. They are both legends

have brought cheer and pride to the nation. There are millions of people who 
are big fans of both these legends and I don't see anything wrong in this

I agree if you have an issue about people comparing Rahman with other composers.

Chill dude! This is not a convent with strict disciplines. People should be 
allowed to express what they feel, as far as it's related to Rahman. If you 
don't like a thread, there's a delete button available to your rescue :)

Anyway, it is impractical to have strict boundaries in terms of what can be

these similarities... just to add to that list: 

* they both came into the field almost at the same time 1989/90 , eventhough 
ARR's first movie came in '92 he was doing tv commercials during '89 -'90...

* they both care about their parents and siblings... 

* they both have clones(not exactly :)) harris and sehwag...

another illustration below..

We never required an OSCAR or a GRAMMY to underline Padma Bhushan Rahman's 
contribution towards music. But the Double Oscar (first by an Indian) followed 
by a Double Grammy (in the same year as the Oscars) stregthens an opinion!

We never required a Double Century in an ODI by Sachin to realize his 
contribution towards sports. But the 200 (first by a man on the planet) again 
strengthens an opinion!

The opinion that both these gentlemen are long overdue for the BHARAT RATNA!!

Ponder over the thought :) :)
