Re: Share SLA experience

Yes indeed, it's frustating creating hundred SLA with tight deadline.
Can't imagine how frustate it will be with Cakrabinaya's SLA (He said
thousand SLA!).

Did you creating 150 SLA at once, I mean sequently adding 150 SLA? Or,
rather wait for one SLA to be built succesfully(thorugh the SLA
Action) then move to the next SLA ?

If creating, I have found you need to wait for them to build before
moving on to the next SLA. Rather frustrating when you need to get them
done quickly.

As for best practices, I would say whatever is most applicable and the
more generic and better way of getting your users/groups to use the same
SLAs the better.

Good luck.

My SLA is respon/resolution with CTI qualification (several
combination of CTI in one SLA). However, I found another strange
behavior of SLA during deployment in development server. Somehow, when
I copy one of my SLA then change the CTI, the result of new SLA filter
qualification generated still the original one. Redeployment of SLA
doen't fix either.

Everything else is pretty much the same.
Can someone give me some ideas on how I can troubleshoot the incoming

tickets for each row in the table?

I am willing to try anything to get it to work.

I do have the Loop Table check-box checked and have tried both

It seems to me your first AL is more complicated then it needs to be.
Instead of opening the target form in submit mode, setting fields, and

Push-If qualification?

That's the first thing I would change.

Then in the Active Link that calls the guide, are you sure you have the
Loop Table option checked?

Open Window action-in Submit mode, 2. Set Fields action-populates the

I have a need to set up an escalation, etc that runs against AR System
 Email Messages.

When it finds new messages in this form (as placed there by the remedy
email engine), I would like to run a set fields to push the data to a
new form. My problem is that I want to look at Mailbox Name to secure
messages that come in from a specific remedy mailbox setup. I get an
error that I can't since the mailbox name field is display only. Ah ha!
So I'll instead use the to field, and grab only messages that were sent
to the inbox in question. Now I get Failure during SQL operation to
the database - evidently there is a further issue. The data types
text and varchar are incompatible in the equal to operator. (SQL Server
 402)

My question is, once I have the email in remedy, procedurally, what is a
good way to find it and process it? Someone has to have done this -
 please help me.

 Thanks!
