Does response from webservice call trigger modify operation

Hi,
I need to know if I call a webservice in my filter on submit operation , can 
the response of the webservice can trigger modify operation on the same record 
which can call a fiter on modify?

Hi Brad,
Before creating custom class, please check if you can use CDM
recommendations from BMC.
I am sure some class will match to some extent to your ci data  and you can
create custom attributes to incorporate the rest even then check the
existing attributes if you can utilize any ootb attribute from the class.
Your initial efforts can save you from going  for creating and managing a
new class.
If it doesn't work out at all, go for custom class.

Please let me know the ar version.
In 8.1 they came with granular overlay.
Try using overwrite instead of No Overlay for other attributes.
Please check other fields with menus attached is editable.

Let me know ar server version and patch also dev studio version.

Hi Rasmus,
Login to database with aradmin.
Use the class form as table name but replace all white spaces and special
character with '_'.
Eg-BMC.CORE:BaseElement is BMC_CORE_BASEELEMENT and same way use attributes
as columns but use where clause as data_set_id="BMC.ASSET" if your
production dataset is same else if you have created some other production
/golden dataset use that one where clause.

ARGetListEntryWithFields - Field ID is not related to this form (ARERR 311)

Hi,
We are facing a strange issue in our system.
ITSM 7.6 patch 001
ARS 7.5 patch 003A


The error message we are getting is as below:

ARGetListEntryWithFields - Field ID is not related to this form (ARERR 311) in 
Overview console when sorting on custom columns added

The problem is occuring recently despite no code changes been made to add any 
new field in Overview Console and last change made weeks before and no issue 
was reported post deployment.

We pefromed cache flush in mid tier and also deleted browse cache but it is of 
no issue.
kindly suggest if anyone has any idea.

Hi Susan,
Please check the view overlay is already there and the field is added in
view overlay before trying to create field overlay of the table.
Maybe that will help.
Regarding the changes not getting relected because system by default picks
up the Overlay object and not the original and you need to reconcile
manually for any changes you made to field.

Goal Set on App form is not working for Service Targets

Hi,
In our production environment, we had used 'Goal Set on App form' to calculate 
the service target based on custom field in HPD:Help Desk.


Although we can see the custom field is getting set but in SLM:Measurement 
ReferenceEndGoalforRequestBasedSVTsFieldValue field is empty even in OOTB 
filter created during Data Source rebuild is mapped with custom field which is 
getting set.

We can't reproduce as it is production.
Please suggest if anyone faced similar issue and got any resoution.

Need help on My IT POC to integrate with custom application.

Hello Everyone,

We are doing a POC using My IT.

In the POC we need to enable customers to create service request by providing 
input to list of questionnaires.

The main challenge is that the customer doesn't have SRM and we need to use a 
custom application for the same and integrate with My -IT.

Please let us know if anyone has worked similar kind of project before.

MY-IT version -2.0 or 2.0.1

Please let me know if you are using CMDB direct data load or using Ar form.
If Direct to CMDB then use AI job.
If you want you can open the job and edit it.
There are some sample csv available from BMC.
Use the relationship class as destination.

Then use AI Wizard to create the job.

It is step by step approach and very easy.

Please make sure your have data connection while creating data store.

As for creation of relationship, you have map the relationship class with
the source data file/ db table.
You can find a sample in csv format in dataintegration directory (can't
recall the full path), to check what are the fields you need to map to
create relationship.
