The server wouldn't have to do a bunch of really high level stuff either. All it needs to do is be a central place for people to connect to and play. Players connect and can then view other online players, start a new game that others can join, or join an existing game. The server would handle passing messages back and forth on behalf of all connected players.Basically, the idea is to get rid of the challenges and frustrations associated with port forwarding. I don't know how his server list exactly works, but my thought is to essentially list the IP address and port for a hosted server in this list for people to choose. When they do, they get a menu that says something like list players, host new game, and join existing game. Choosing join or new would bring up the standard menus to select the game mode like Battle, Minigames, etc.

What do you plan on doing with Tomb Hunter and Crime Hunter? If your servers are going down and/or may be unreliable, do you have plans to patch them so they work no matter what? I'd hate to see more games become useless because the license server or required central server went down forever.As for SBYW, do you think you'll ever release a Python version? Is it possible you could make the cells easier to read? Right now they're in reverse order, in a series of lists of varying lengths, and they aren't even numbered or anything, at least not in the lists. Also, something will need to be done with the display for the Life challenge. I've not tried it myself, but the wiki says the cells change colour depending on whether the enemy is living or not, and that won't be of much help to someone like me, who is totally blind and doesn't usually have colour announcements turned on.

It’s a little to early to be confirming details about packaging  since Sable is still in its prototype  stage, these kind of finer points  will be detailed nearer to Sables release, at the moment all our focus is on our first game title. Regarding your question around class’s, firstly I’m a huge entombed  fan, it was one of my first audio games I played, it’s a real shame Jason Alan never got round to finishing entombed 2.0, I’ve always hoped at some stage he would come back  and continue working on it. Well, i got a pixel 3. Right now my main issues are typing, i’m not sure how to navigate through pages on the home screen, for some reason some options in settings just don’t show up and i have to use google assistant to get to them, etc, but other than that i really like it.

Thanks for all the insights, Ben! The undo function works exactly like you described: it doesn't allow to 'retry' the same move, for that will always render the same outcome. The undo function is there mainly to undo a mistake, either because of pressing the wrong button, or because of something game-related. Like, you forgot being poisoned and died, with an Elixer in your pack. It's not a great cheating device, and that's actually what I like about it. Still, there are some possibilities, like trying to dodge, fail, undo, and then block. Whether people will be ready to pay for it is the big question. I hope so, but if not, that's OK too. At least then the game is free to play for all.I'm currently in the process of releasing the undo feature to beta. Android is done; iOS will follow soon. Please let me know what you guys think.

Interesting that you made BGT go through port 80.You could do a fix update to get bgt to carry out an http request on another port, EG, , and then have a backend to simulate the web server.It's a little more leg work than how it was without https, but this way you get https, and don't screw over paying custoers

I purchased a used Pixel 1 off Ebay, and ANdroid Pi was wrecking my battery! I had to install Android 8.1.0 and am staying there until something changes. Of course, it could also be an aging battery. I can't complain too much, since I got the phone for $150 and it works great otherwise!

HelloI have fownd a bug, maybe a Feature .When an Enemy Is trying to flee, use a smoke bom it will not flee, even after 2 turns after the smoke bom effect has ended, that doesn’t work on the dragon, Hydra and giant.

couple things guys. for starters, I know a lot of us is disappointed with the low/faint sound, BUT have a slight fix for this. I have been trying out different wired headphones, and the official apple headphone ear buds improves the sound drastically. the characters sound right in your face, you can hear footsteps, even back/forward dashes, and the hit sound effects sound much better. down side to using these headphones is its not surround sound, and you can not voice chat if playing online. I have tested other low budget ear buds and you will still get poor quality sound, so shockingly I highly recommend picking up a pair of apple headphones, you will be able to notice the sound difference, trust me. for those who have bigger bucks in the bank and prefer wireless sound, I will be testing a few pairs of wireless headphones this week, and come back with more recommendations. last thing regarding sound, turn down the music and the background ambience, this will also help, even change the sound setting from mid range to tv speaker or home theater, plus turn up the volume on the actual console you have. for ps4, hold down the psn button, go to devices, and put the sound to the max which is 25. as for the xbox gamers, go to settings while headphones are plugged in, go down to audio, and put the volume to 100. for the gamer that had a question about the blocking, some moves in mk has always been unblockable, you have to either duck under them, jump over them, or in this version you can do a short hop. i'll look into the cassie cage move and see if its blockable while crouching, or if it simply needs to be dodged. hope all this info helps

Hello.I have the Nokia 7+ (I ordered the wrong phone, ordering late at night will make you do that,) and I don't like it.First talkback didn't come on and my auntie had to turn it on for me.Second, the typing. I don't want to put anyone off of buying android but for me the typing was terrible. The keyboard is tiny and the case that came with the phone made my fingers so sweaty.Over all it wasn't a good experience.I'm going back to IOS and am going to sell this phone tomorrow.

There's a problem with the amount of rockets that the enemy callers use. The problem is that not only do the enemy callers force the rockets to fire, but even picking up an item that triggers enemies to come the same way as if you used an enemy caller will do the same. I used one enemy grabber and the thing was shooting so many rockets at me, the timing was literally impossible to manage. Also, if you figure just a normal amount of enemies in one place when shot and you take their items can trigger more than one alarm and enemies appearing, so it can chain together really quickly. I I think there should be a limit to how many enemy fired rockets can be on screen at once. It was like those fireballs on super mario bros for the NES on level 1-4, except by a factor of 4.

Did you check to see if you're behind another firewall? That's most likely the reason if your manual port forward rule didn't work. Also, don't put your computer in the DMZ of the router where port forwarding didn't work, because that does no good. The other firewall is still blocking connections, even though your router is technically allowing all traffic to pass to your computer.Bleh! Why must this be so complicated? I remember how frustrating it was 9 years ago when I didn't know nearly as much about computer networking as I do now. There's no excuse for all this port forwarding nonsense when you can easily buy server resources at a very cheap price. I love my Linode! I pay $5 a month, but I don't worry about the physical machine at all. If the machine fails, or a natural disaster occurs, that's not my problem. The people managing the physical machines deal with it. The same goes for power consumption and air conditioning.

I assu,me Sable's going to be able to compile games into executables, unless you plan on having people run your first game through Sable engine it's self. I have a few more questions. Is it possible to make a quest then have it a second one trigger after a cut scene, example, Please get the file called plans from cabinent 4. You go get it, come back to the person who gave the quest, then a cut scene happens where you hear him reading it and inputting data into a computer, then he says go put it back where you got it. Next, will it be possible to have certain parts of your game that require you to go back to another map, like maybe you leave your town, do some  quests, then find out that you need to go back to do something else without  having to rebuild the map again as a new one to Sable? Next, how about the ability to have taunts from either you or the enemy before or after they use a weapon or ability. What about attacking, I assume you will allow us to change the sounds for hand to hand combat. Finally, will you be able to change the name of the currency that your story uses? A Sci-Fi themed one wouldn't really have gold... yeah.

Don't use the DMZ on the second device, because you're opening up either your entire network or a specific device to all incoming requests from the open Internet. Also disable UPNP on everything! UPNP allows any application to open ports at any time which is a huge security risk.Bleh! Why must this be so complicated? I remember how frustrating it was 9 years ago when I didn't know nearly as much about computer networking as I do now. There's no excuse for all this port forwarding nonsense when you can easily buy server resources at a very cheap price. I love my Linode! I pay $5 a month, but I don't worry about the physical machine at all. If the machine fails, or a natural disaster occurs, that's not my problem. The people managing the physical machines deal with it. The same goes for power consumption and air conditioning.

Even if it is allowed for other audio outputs, I think it should be blocked by default for screen reader audio.  Compression is really bad. If you listen to the jaws  training audio by Dan Clark you can hear the beginning of the speech of jaws compressed due to audio effects. It is funny how FS didn't notice and disable them.

Ok, I spent waaay too much time on this for the resulting reaping, but I learned a hell of a lot about Reaper in the process. One thing I can't seem to figure out which should be simple is how to move an item on the timeline simply. I get using combinations of control, shift, and alt with the period and comma keys to adjust start and end selections, and to slide the audio inside the selection, but is there no way to simply move everything at once? Like if I want to just move an explosion sound to the right by half a second, along with the start and end selection points, is there no easy way to do this beyond moving the end point with alt period, then the start point with control period, then shifting the actual sound with shift period? I feel like I'm missing something here. I've got this complex sound made up of 9 tracks, I've built in pans and volume envelopes, I've created a Haas effect by offsetting tracks, etc. but I can't figure out how to simply position my audio. Any help out there for this? I've read the Accessible Reaper Wiki, looked at the docs and so forth. I promise I'm not being purposefully obtuse here. Thanks all for any help. Smugglers 5 advice?

Hey all. Did anyone actualy win the war in Smugglers 5 secession? Getting frustrated by the artificial inteligence that is high command in the game. First of all. Why do we attack if we are already defending on i believe two or three fronts? The Federation diplomats are total idiots if they are at war with every other faction in the game. Like, we are in all out war with everyone else, we are attacked on three fronts, and suddenly the high command decides to attack. I'm just only one mere spaceship, i can not teleport and defend our worlds yet help the invasion as well. Okay, enough rant, now my question. How do you deal with these situations where far away systems need to be defended? And am i the only one who gets irritated by the complete defenseless faction if we are not influencing the war with our own hands? I'd expect at least some chance of victory if i'm not helping my faction on the battlefield, it seems if they're just sitting there and doing nothing waiting for me to arrive. Or am i wrong and we have a chance of victory without my help just i'm unlucky?

It sounds like a mix of English and American folk to me. The vocals in the early songs are definitely the sort of thing you find in traditional English folk. but some of the banjo and guitar style sounds more American. It's just a mish-mash of folk-style pop.

First of two planned PC patches has hit. Don't quite remember what was fixed, but the MK11 discussion board has a sticky that outlines it.On another note, I'm actually kinda glad I picked this up on PC instead of PS4... never got remote play to work on PS4, and on PC I can OCR any time I want. For a game like this, that helps a ton. And the desynced cutscenes in story mode don't bother us, so... only downside is seemingly lagging behind for balance patches and such, but I don't play competitively anyways so even that's kinda meh.

Lol I almost did the same thing, I almost got the nokia7+ when I asked the sails guy how much the 1+5t was. I was kind of confused when he said nokia, but I just thought nokia must've been 1+'s providers or something even though i'd never herd that anywhere before. I think if you can get the phone you actually wanted that'd be great, although i'd never recommend anything modern by nokia. There prime time was more in the erlie 2000s. If you want cheap and good, go with one of the 1+ phones, or if you're willing to up the price a bit the pixels aren't a bad choice either. My friend also had a samsung 8+ or at least he used to, not sure if he managed to break it yet lol, but apparently those are good enough phones as well. For me typing took some getting used to, i'm still struggling a little, but since i got gboard up and running it's been a lot nicer and a much smoover expeerience over all. I'm still trying to figure out how dictation works, but yeah that's another thing. But my god with a screen that small it's no wonder you're struggling.

I wouldn't have done that if I were you, brouzers at least should always redirect to https even if http is still a thing because that's just how most of them work. Personally I like bgt, it's what i like and what i'm used to, and unless i'm given a really good reason to switch, like if a windows update stops bgt games from running or something, i'll probably stick with it. I never really liked the look of python, c++ just sort of already provided what I needed but made the regular old process about 10 times more complicated, etc etc.

Awesome undo feature. I like the q and a about its purpose before you actually use it. It should clear things up. I do have a couple suggestions. Firstly, can we have the undo command take us to the beginning of a room encounter rather than the last move exactly? The reason for my request is that I found myself in a situation where I was poisoned and went after a tree with 4 health and survived the first hit thinking I could heal up but couldn't and died, so it took me 3 undos to bring myself back to a point where I could heal up properly. This will save players undos over time. Secondly, I know the number of undos is shown on the screen after you choose the option before confirming, but can we have a counter next to the option at the top of the screen also?Still think that this game is worth the money I spent on it, and I'm glad I could help support its development. Keep up the good work!

Have you unlocked the size challenge? If you have, you'll see the info for it. If you haven't, you'll see something like you will unlock this challenge when you reach zone x, with the x being the number of the zone. I believe you need to reach zone 35 before you can do size.
