I use Jaws, and this is what I did.I activated "Jaws to PC" cursor, with insert-minus.Then I arrowed down about thirteen times and clicked.You can hold the spacebar down and it will click automatically for you.Once you get a bunch of cookies, you won't need to do that anymore, because cookies will start being produced in other ways. You can go back to the regular cursor and find everything you need.Hope this helps.

It frustrates me, to think that "thread necromancy" is a punishable offense in all cases.Certainly, if someone does it just to spam others, give a warning.But in many cases, there are new people on the forums who may read a thread from four or five years ago. They may have questions, commentary, something new to say about an "old" game. They may even be trying to revive interest in, or gain interest for, a game that they believe is worth it. Reviving a topic may bring a whole new audience to that game. It makes no sense to me to punish people for that, and/or clutter the forum with duplicate topics.Why not do something where a thread automatically moves from "new releases" to "general discussion" after 60 or 90 days, as a response to those who complain about "old" games being at the top of the "new releases" section.One last thing.The idea of thread necromancy as a punishable offense is a symptom of a bigger problem that has attached itself to this forum in the last three years or so, and that problem consists of petty quarrels, bitterness, drama, and hateful behavior between forum members. It has degraded the experience of this forum significantly, and it is my hope that somehow, some way, the members of this forum will refocus on their love of gaming, and turn away from all the negativity.

So, I've runned "checkup.exe" and it registered some missing files. After doing this I've tryed to run "Swamp.exe" , but another dialog appeared: "Run-time error ’52’: Bad file name or number". The most interesting thing in this story is that the game started when I runned the file for the second time. But now it also doesn't start. I've also changed some keys' functions running "Keyconfig.ini", could this influence something?

Hi.Motorola did something really strange when I upgraded to android 8 to 9. I can no longer use talk back fingerprint gestures.For me honestly it's iOS for many of the reasons people have already stated here, though for me there's one more and that is seeing AI.In my opinion I feel that seeing AI works more efficiently than envision does on android, believe me I've really tried! to help it read things I need it to read.Anyone remember google goggles? I feel like I've time traveled back to 2014 every time I try envision.I don't hate it though, there are people who say and demonstrate it works great, clearly there's something I'm doing wrong.Also, re update distribution. I personally dislike the way 3rd parties distribute device updates. Android 10 was already in the hands of the general public when the moto g line started getting android 9 pushed to North America; That update was supposed to be here somewhere in the first quarter of 2019.Google assist beats the hell out of siri any day. Chances are if siri has 0 idea what your blabbering about all she does is expect you to find it yourself. Which is sad, because in the days of iOS 8 all the way up to 10 she used to be really useful.And believe me, there are many people who share similar thoughts on this subject.One plus for upgrading is I actually gained a dedicated gesture to call up google assist, double press the power button twice. The old one which was press and hold the home button still works. If your phone has software buttons you will understand why that's a bit of a hassle to execute.But even more simplistically than anything mentioned here is auto speakerphone! My iphone has an unfortunate glitch that prevents it from doing this sometimes but why nobody has added in an automatic speakerphone when you lift the phone from your ear is really strange.Screening calls is one hell of a feature I miss. For those that don't know what that is, allow me to explain. If you get a call from a number you don't recognize, you can hit screen call and a (very natural sounding) text to speech voice says something along the lines of: "Hello, this person is using a screening service from google. Go ahead and say your name."You don't hear the google side of the call but you still hear the caller, but they can't hear you as far as I know. Once that happens you get a screen where you can select a response, one includes to take control of the call and also a response that says "Please remove my number from your call list. Thank you, and good bye." At that point the call ends.A funny thing though, I personally haven't gotten past the hello this is a screen service bla bla bla lalalalalah all that many times, because telemarketers hang up pretty much instantly once they hear her.Take care all, and happy holidays!

I'm sorry that you folks are experiencing difficulty.In the case of post 1, it sounds like something post-traumatic, but my best advice for you is to seek professional help. If you're hearing things you know aren't real, that's called auditory hallucinations, and usually means something is not quite right. It needn't be anything to be straight-up scared of, overall, but probably it would be a good idea to talk to someone professionally who may be able to help you. That help might just be therapy (i.e., they talk to you, walk you through the trauma and teach you how to cope with it), or it may be medication, if the problem is deeper. There is simply no way that I or most anyone here would know more than that.Good luck, either way.

Okay, so, if an attack is physical (and you can check this with hotkeys), it uses the strength stat. If it's special, it uses the magic attack stat.So stuff like Drench, Fire Breath, Meteor Rush, will use magic attack, while Earthquake, Assault Tackle, Wing Slash are strength-based.

Hello,I've been playing Manamon 1 and have not managed to figure out what magic attack and magic defence are for. I'm pretty sure magic defence is only against magic attacks, but why would any creature without a magic attack use the magic attack skill? Also, does strength increase the power of special attacks like earthquake or Fire breath?There does not seem to be any guidance on what increases the power of what anywhere.

If you are like me to where you are having trouble getting RetroArch set up for the blind. Then follow the simple steps below.I wish that the information on the RetroArch thread and website had these steps for beginners. With that out of the way let's get started.First thing that you need to do is go to http://www.ztranslate.net to set up an free account. Once your account is activate go to settings on the site.Go to the heading call quota. Below there you will find your api key.Remember the key or copy it somewhere. Now go to http://www.retroarch.com Get RetroArch latest version.Once you have RetroArch on your computer open the program. Turn off your screen reader.The best thing is to turn off your screen reader before opening the program. Now that you are in the program press the right arrow once.Then press the up arrow seven times and then press the enter key twice. You should hear the built in screen reader. As you can tell you control the program with the keyboard.Now after you have adjusted the screen reader settings press the backspace key to return to the previous menu. Go to the api option.In the api url you need to put in the following url with your api key. http://www.ztranslate.net/service?api_key=your-api-key The part of that url where it says your-api-key is where your ten character key goes. Make sure that you put the letters in your key as capital letters.Once you have put the url in press enter. Set the rest of the api options to your liking.Return to the previous menu and go to input. In the input menu go to hot keys bines. Then go to api.Press enter then press the key that you want to be your api key. I selected the tab key so that I didn't have to reorange keys.Now return to the previous menu. Go to controller port 1 bines.If you are using a Xbox controller then the controller is set up. I have always thought we should do something like Reddit does and lock old topics after a couple of years. I wouldn't have a problem with someone posting in an old topic, but I hate it when people bring back a topic that hasn’t had a post for over 10 years.  If the topics were locked, it would free up the admins and mods to do other stuff. I am sure they get tired of warning people about that.

Um, ok by that logic let's delete like a decades worth of history? Um no. Twitter and Facebook are happy to share that mentality, but this is a forum not a chat system.As for thread necromancy: I don't think people have much of a problem with thread necromancy in general so much as the users who do it for stupid reasons. I.e. actually resorecting a good discussion is fine, asking for a link for a game that was hosted on a non-permanent storage location when the game is more than 3 years old? Publicly? Now that's a problem.There's two sides to that issue. On one hand we can argue that people should not be using file storage as if it were a permanent host for their games (developers take not, it's for your own good). But in that topic about Omar's Killer game, I imagine him to be pretty young and thus not able to afford a good reliable web-hosting plan that didn't have some hidden file-size limitation. Anyone can evolve overtime, though.On the other side of the tracks, if you want a game that bad and you know the thread is dated, for the love of all that's good either make a new topic about it or contact the dev privately. Resorecting the topic to ask for it is a very! bad way to go about doing things as it can confuse many users into thinking this game or discussion is recent and even relevant. Not everyone reads the date information, experienced screen-reader users (myself included) will happily skip past the three headings and the list. So there. Thread necromancy itself is not bad, just don't do it in cases where there is literally no rhyme or reason to.To long-time members, why worry? More than half of you aren't even doing this so there isn't much of a reason to raise the alarms, unless of course you're going to go on a thread necromancy spree which I doubt any of us are.

Ok, I think I've fixed the achievements. You may have to get some of them again, but they should stick around this time. I built a cleaner program for the save strings to fix them when they are broken, but then I realized that I could just build that cleaning logic into the main game itself. So if you run into it again, let me know and I'll point you to the cleaner and figure out why its not working in game. This issue was pretty embarrassing, i had been storing the achievement cookie as achievements=achievements=(achievement data here). By some weird quirk of logic, that duplication was causing the achievements to work when testing, but they would get wiped out, however, if your prestige data would earn you those achievements back, they would look like they were already there. So I never noticed that they were being removed, then reinstated automatically. Anyway, that should do it. Let me know if something else pops up.

I am having a smal mental problem, what can i do?

Hi. First sory if this is not belonging her but i saw topics about discusing mental things on this forum as well so I decided to also post my stuff. Due to a scary thing that happened to e when i was smaler, i get scared realy fast. Mostly when i sitt in my flad i some times heer things i can not se where they come from. It is normal thihng. But some times these things sound strange. And especialy then when i ly in bet, my heat then starts conzentrating on my ears. I some times heer stuff that is not happening like bumps and some times even people talking(not any hing special what they then say), phone ringing when my phone is not ringing etc. It makes slep go verry hart then and i often wake up realy early. Is there a suggestion what i should do to get over that? If it helps what caused this was a breakin in my house when i was sleping when i stil lived with my parrents and i also heerd voices but i at that time took it avay with i am dreaming.

Uh yeah, how? In built narration is cool, but as far as affecting gameplay does absolutely nothing. There's certain things you can do like adjusting various volumes, but yeah the only playable mode really is Horde mode. Other people might have had luck doing certain things in other modes, but not without the help of sighted people. Honestly one of the biggest things that turns me off Gears personally are the map designs. Being able to find your way round while figuring out if you're supposed to jump over a ledge or go round a wall is a big one. That's fine in a single player situation, but if you're trying to support your team effectively, there's only so much the "follow the noise of other players/enemies," strategy is going to work for you. If anyone can prove me absolutely wrong, by all means go for it. I'm sure there's people out there that manage to have fun with it, but yeah.

I still have that question, even after people were needlessly complaining about it. I mean, sure, in certain circumstances this is unnecessary and shouldn't be allowed, but a lot of the time there's nothing wrong with resurrecting old discussions and I can't understand why there are people who are 100 percent against any form of resurrection, productive or not.

Cool, but virtual review is not just for terminal, so don't call something redundant that easily. Ctrl m is something I often use as well, problem is of course that due to the nature of the way terminal works you don't have word navigation with ctrl and arrows in that mode, which can often be very useful.

@3, virtual review is redundant. Identical functionality can be achieved by pressing ctrl+m. I don't think that dynamically updates though. When done in that mode, hit escape.

GTK is only accessible on Linux. No other OSes. The major downside to Go is that there are no good game development frameworks available for it, and no good audio libraries either. Youcan develop an audio game but it won't be easy.

I still have mixed feelings about that setting myself and not sure if I should turn it off. On one hand, software indeed makes the wrong decision sometimes and it sucks when that happens, but on the other hand it's super convenient when you want to check something while in a call and VO automatically goes to the speaker on the back, instead of you manually having to find and activate the button to switch speaker.

Nothing, but schools outside of US and other big countries are very uneducated when it comes to technology. Probably 90 percent of schools in Serbia have no idea what are the differences between doc and PDF, nevermind accessibility and screen readers. It works under the mentality of we use it because it works and runs fine.

Wondering if it's just this clunky or if I'm missing something obvious by virtue of not being a heavy Windows/NVDA user.From the Companion app, while streaming, I press NVDA + Numpad 8 to leave the window. I then arrow a few times with NVDA + Numpad 6 until I hear "Unknown". Then I press NVDA + R and read the screen.Of course, this only gives me a single screen of results. If anything changes, I have to repeat the whole process again--select the unknown object and press NVDA + R.Is there some command to refresh the OCR result of the same object so I don't have to repeat this multi-step process every time the screen changes?Also, how do you know where focus is on the OCR'd screen? Sometimes there's a tooltip hinting at what has focus, but if there isn't, do you just click and hope?Thanks.

Have to generally agree with tirtlepower. I was one of those who started having sexual feelings towards people from a young age, and back then if I was rejected or whatever I tended to get over it fairly quickly. My last real relationship was probably one of the most meaningful I've ever had with anyone, but it ended up ending on a not so good note once it became apparent to this person I was trans, or at least bisexual, before I even truly realised what those feelings meant myself, in around the middle of 2017. I'd been with this girl since 2014, and as young and immature as I was then, it still meant a lot to me at the time and it ending the way it did fucked me up pretty bad. I think it was from that point onward I started to desperately cling on to my maskulinity, knowing full well deep down that it was a ly, and that resulted in a lot of my already existing depression being intensified, and me going to greater and greater lengths to accept myself for who I was. Sadly, my earlier post was just another example of that. I still think if the person mentioned in my first post were to get back in contact with me I would still try to pursue that relationship, even though this person is as strate as it gets and it there for probably wouldn't go anywhere. Sometimes I wonder if part of the reason I felt such a strong connection was because she's kind of everything I wanted to be at that point. I'm not sure, but at least I've gotten a lot off my chest, and it's been a little easier for me now. Still have to decide on a new name and whatnot, plus put things through college so everyone's on the same page, but soon I'll be living the life I've wanted deep down since I was about 12, and which I never really thought would be possible.

Hi !I don't mind using my screenreader during most of my playthrough, however an audio atmosphere is always the most enjoyable thing for me. One exception though, and it has allready be mentionned, is the pure navigation system (including menus, inventory or such) which definitly gains from being told by a screenreader only. It is faster, more efficient, and therefor more comfortable.As for browser based games, I use gogle chrome, and NVDA as a screenreader.Now about the game types we don't have. The thing is, we need actual games. That's the point. Except for three or four exceptions, we mostly have basic games, with poor mechanic, and particularly poor storylines. I don't thing we need one more fps, we've spent the major part of these last few years shooting random ennemies which allways made the same sounds (trust me, I'm not even able to distinguish one game from another). We've been destroying the same ships for ages. I'd give all of these games for atleast one good, moving, touching scenario. Of course I'd be really happy if the game's mechanic was better too, but I wouldn't mind playing a basic point and click, if it was as beautifull as "what remains of Eddith Finch). I wouldn't mind playing senseless puzzle games, if there were as fun in the storyline as portal 1 and 2. Here's my point : we're lacking lore, stories, worlds and surprises. Except for manamon, none of our current available audiogames has given me the feeling I was part of a story, discovering a world, and whatever the type of game is, we need to feel this.Best regard,Simon

I'm just amazed PDFs are still a problem and even being used. Ah well, this is what happens when people rely on a generally unstable and downright stupid technology that's exceeded its welcome. Its unstable because its unreliable and its presentation is entirely unpredictable, nevermind the fact that the only way you can get a (reasonable) HTML representation is through a paid program; and its downright stupid because your trying to make a digital document look like a hardcopy version on a platform that's not designed for that kind of manipulation. Why can't we just use web pages, Docx's, or Epubs instead? What in this day and age makes PDFs so wonderful over all the other formats out there?

I didn't see the original post, but I'll briefly add my two cents about what Dark and Jade were saying. The funny thing is, people say that heartbreak gets easier to deal with as you get older. While it's true that, as a teenager, you don't have the life experience to really know what to do with all of those new feelings, and it can be very hard to get a handle on them, I'd argue that you bounce back quicker than you do when you're older. When you're a teen, learning what exactly to do with all those inconvenient crushes, awkward meetings, and yes, those first devastating breakups is...I don't want to say easier, but I think most people are more bold in the ways that they deal with their explorations. Because of the newness of it, the urgency of all those thoughts and hormones and desires, you feel you have to have those experiences whether you want to or not. I know there are younger people who discover that they're asexual or aromantic at that age, but that's a whole other complication that I can't really speak to. What I'm getting at is, it's tough to build that foundation, but it's even tougher once you get a little older and look back on just how easily you actually did get through those experiences as compared to how you deal with them now. It took me years to get over my previous relationship. There was a lot of self-hatred and self-destruction along the way, as well as trying desperately to keep that person in my life, even as a friend, though it was clear to me and everyone who knew me and the situation that this person was using me and taking full advantage of my vulnerable state. During that time, I would often look back and wonder what my younger self would have done, and the conclusion that I drew over and over was that I would have gotten through it a hell of a lot faster. No matter how much in love you think you are, or actually grow to be at that age, time is still pretty relative. You may think of the future, but in more abstract terms than when you get a bit older and realize, "holy crap, this is the rest of my life." So, while I do have far more empathy than a lot of adults seem to, and would never dream of telling someone who was going through this for the first time that it's all in their head, or to get over it because there are other fish in the sea, it still blows my mind to this day to think about what a dark place I was in for the better part of 3 years, the lengths I went to blame myself for someone else's shitty behavior, the physical and emotional damage I ended up doing to myself as a result, and so many other nuances that I neither have the time nor inclination to go into at the moment. I never would have reacted in that way when I was younger, because, as much as the experiences that I had sucked, I didn't feel that I was working against time, plus, I truly believed that I could do better than the situations I found myself in in those days.

Beaten the game now. I didn't have any trouble with the marshes, and I only had to go through two of them, not three. Not sure why. And even without Ian's instructions, the area made sense. I died twice and then just played carefully. You have to remember where you step and be logical, that's all.Not really worth playing over again, but there's a lot of good story threads here. Some weird acting and sound design, and some volume/fuzz issues, but overall it doesn't sound bad. The exploration is pretty simple, as are most of the puzzles, and the combat is fairly straightforward (seriously, I didn't get hit once after watching the video about the combat trick). But again, it's not bad. I could see paying five or ten bucks for it, and I hope that they come back to this game in some fashion at some point, hopefully with some improvements. I'd be interested to see where the story goes, if nothing else.

That will not work. If you set graphics to null, Retroarch will crash as it won't load the main window.  The only thing I can think of to maybe get rid of that is to not load the dummy core on a core's exit, but even then I don't know if it'd work.

Also...here's an interesting thing. Bombusect no longer sucks quite so badly.Yes, its HP is still low, and yes, insect-undead gives it plenty of weaknesses. But its attack is pretty good, its defenses aren't bad, and while it isn't blazing fast, it's not as slow as, say, Pandourbit either. Gets Parasite Bite instead of just Fang Drain, also gets Plague and Counterspell if you're into that (I'm not, personally, as unless it gets Dessicate Beam it's just not going to be a viable special attacker). Plus it still gets the Horrify+Desoul+Toxic Spray combo that a lot of people seemed to like. So there are better undeads, but this one is not bad.

Does Codex convert pdf documents? I forget. I know it does Epub and a couple of other Ebook formats, so it's entirely possible that it does do PDF's. If so, you could always use that to get it into a more manageable format. As long as you don't need to fill out forms or something, that should work. I know there are other converters out there, but Codex is the one I'd personally recommend.

as I predicted, there was actually another release for 2019 that just came out, and I'm eager to try it though it will probably be a long time before I get there.They just released "An Odyssey: Echoes of War," In which you play an interactive retelling of HOmer's classic work, though there are a lot of other options besides the main story such as becoming a God, stopping at several of the islands on the way home, or a number of other things.I'm a bit of a classic lit snob, so this one sounds probably more fun to me than it has a warrant to be, but it will be itching at my brain until I get to it.Just thought I would let you guys know of this one.

There are benefits to having better cameras, even for a blind person. I would imagine that apps like Seeing AI can take advantage of that, and if you use Aira, more is probably better depending on what kinds of things you're getting help with. Having said that, I definitely don't blame anyone for not wanting a phone with face ID.The previous poster is also correct, you can change the setting which makes Voiceover switch from the earpiece to the phone's speaker. Why that's not off by default, I don't know, but it's fairly easy to disable. Go into settings, accessibility, Voiceover, audio, and finally, look for a setting called "auto select speaker in call." Toggle that off, and the issue should be taken care of.

1: I honestly don't know. I've tried to work with shared libraries created by Go, but it didn't work well. Was able to interface with the lib via C, and it only (sort of) worked. That may have been due to my inexperience with that particular aspect of the language though. Trying to work with that library via Python actually crashed the interpreter!2: I use Notepad2 on Windows and Pluma or Nano on Linux. I hardly ever use an IDE unless I'm forced to.3: I adapted pretty quickly. The syntax of Go isn't that different from C/C++/Java/C#, though it does have differences and missing features. But that's fine; Go was designed to be simple to learn, read and comprehend, not to be an all-in-one language.4: Its definitely very nice! I like all the functionality -- and its only growing every release!5: The binaries are large because everything is statically linked. You can reduce it by passing -w -s -v, though -s -v works too as LDFLAGS.

@67, thanks for that tip; I couldn't purchase ZDSR (I don't even remember why) but the demo seemed primitive to me. It had a lot of features I couldn't use, and that's what caused the "This is primitive" thought.

It's pretty easy to see a person's rank if you read their post. You just missed mine, that's all. Yes, it was announced, and it's been this way for months. No, it's not a hill I intend to die on either.Ironically, Liam was the last of us to be made an admin, and Aaron was on the staff team before I was even a mod.Admins are also able to unrestrict people, where mods can't. But yeah, basically we're all just senior mods at this point, in the grand scheme of things, because some of the bigger decisions are beyond our sphere of influence.

Hey guys. I'm still working on the Shadow Rine translation project, but I have the folder up for the general translation projects if you guys want me to invite you. There's currently nothing in there right now, but I hope to get started with something once I finish the project I'm working on right now. I may not be able to focus on them, but I'll at least have them in the folder for you guys to look at / work on. If you have moves that jack up your stats, use one or two of those before attacking. That way, when you do hit, you do bigger damage. Also, have at least one or two people resistant to steel attacks, since the angel likes Iron Maiden. It doesn't do much besides Iron Maiden and Antidefense if you don't attack it, but will counter with an attack that represents a weakness of whatever you hit it with. So for instance, if you use Alluppig to hit it with Earthquake, it'll probably use Petal Storm, which will hurt. But on the other hand, if you use Garganchan to use Earthquake on it, Petal Storm will be resisted. It hits a weakness of the move, not the manamon; basically means using same-type attacks can be a problem unless you resist or are neutral to your own typing. Not knowing what your team is, though, I can't give better advice than that. Your team should ideally be in the low to mid 40s by now. If you're a bit lower, you can probably still do it, but you'll have a tough time.

problem with android games

Hi,I'm using Samsung galaxy a5 2016 and android 7. Most of the accessible games that have been posted so far don't work properly. They load and talkback reads stuff, but in most cases, double tapping on stuff absolutely does nothing, and sometimes I can't even move around on the screen. The only games that have worked so far without any problem are crafting kingdom and that other word game, word rescue or something.Same problem seems to pop up every now and then with chrome. Any idea what might be the cause?Thanks for any help or thoughts.

Additionally, while the well-fed buff is active, you will be immune to curses and poison similar to the way that invincibility works. Whenever one of those things would happen to you, it'll reduce the duration of well fed by 1 instead of cursing or poisoning you. Also, while I was at it I let some of the winter enemies spill out into the normal zones.
