I can't even navigate to items or enemies using the last scanned feature. I'm at the hospital now, but only because I had sighted assistance. You're suppose to find medical supplies now or something, but put it down to see if anybody had advice for this section of the game. There was a time or two when the game gave me some navigational aid, but it was only once when crossing a bridge. Otherwise it just makes the error sound. I saw someone said they completed the game without any assistance, but can only imagine they had some visual acuity or something. As you PS4 owners know, the initial setup process, and most of the UI is not accessible with the built-in screen reader. What work-arounds have you guys used to solve this little issue? I mean, sure, there are folks who absolutely do admit fault because they want to come across like they're apologetic when really they just want attention or support. They're out there. But a lot of times, it's not nearly so dark as that. I'd hate to think that when I've apologized publicly for mistakes I've made, you or others think I'm doing it for attention. Re: slay the spire now accessible! @Wensber, I just want to let you know the volume command doesn't seam to work.Also, pressing h then enter doesn't seam to work for hand either, i say seam; because it might show up in the window and read the spire might not show the command.@JaceK, I'd really recommend read the spire, it makes things a little easier, you use alt left right up and down to read the windows without actually going to the window.Remember to stay in the prompt window though.The way the game works is, it will say 1 monster 1 2 monster 2 and 3 monster 3, so you'd press 1 then etner, to move to monster 1, the help command won't tell you that. Yes, okay, some indigenous people will panhandle, just as some white men murder folks. Sure, it happens. But linking them together so automatically is not a good thing, and just about everyone does it. So we were talking on the phone about a month later - I was home in Canada again by this point - and I began a story of annoyance by saying, "This white dude I was talking to...". She stopped me further into the story, after it had been made clear that the man's skin colour was only an incidental detail, and said, "Well his skin colour doesn't matter". I gave her a beat of silence and said, "There. Now didn't it feel weird to have me mention the man's skin colour when it didn't matter? You do it all the time, mom. Just think about it."If you are reporting someone sleeping on a couc, lingering in a Starbucks or telling you to put your dog on a leash, there is no reason to report the colour of their skin. Now, if you're being asked by police to identify a suspect, report a fugitive, help them track someone, then that detail might (key word, might) be relevant. The reason I say this is because hundreds, if not thousands of black people (especially black men, actually) get stopped, arrested, sometimes even put on the ground and cuffed when police are after another black person, even when the two don't look alike. The innocent dude is stopped not because he actually bears a resemblance to the real suspect, but only because he's black. Do all white people look similar? The example about the unfair court cases misses several important factors. The white person who gets a light sentence might have had a better lawyer. I would argue a white person who wasnat an actor would still be treated the way the black lady was. I agree we have a few racist people in the United States, but the system as a whole is not racist. Do we need to adjust a few things? Maybe. As for the black college student sleeping on the couch, it is not a crime to call the police when you see something strange. Also, when you call the police, they ask you to describe the person, and an easy way to describe someone is to say they are black. When she was caught, she was sentenced to five years in prison.A white woman bribed someone in order to help her daughter get a higher SAT score. She received a fine, and six months of jail time.This happens all the time, all over, and it isn't just race. Racism is still used in the judicial system to really throw the book at non-whites, at non-males, though again, we're working on it. But okay. Let's actually assume that no overtly racist laws exist anymore.However, that was never my point.My point is that regardless of the laws your country has, a whole crapton of its citizenry are still part of institutional or systemic racism. When a white woman calls the police and baldly lies to them about a black man because he had the temerity to tell her that she should leash her dog, that's racism. When a girl who falls asleep on a university couch has the police called on her because someone questioned whether she should be there (note: she was a student at that university), that's racism. When someone shoots a black man while he's jogging because he's wearing the wrong clothes, that's racism. When a white cop kneels on the back and neck of a black suspect while he pleads for his life, and won't move even when pleaded with to do so by bystanders, that's racism. Peculiarly, the numbers suggest this happens to blacks far more than other demographics, yet most people seem unwilling to talk about this fact;5. equal opportunity employment had to be forced into law because folks couldn't be trusted not to use discrimination in the employee selection process;6. Blacks are still often railroaded into certain parts of the city (the "ghetto" was not a mistake and it was not a black idea), and those neighbourhoods are often in logistically undesirable places (again, not an accident, this is redlining and city planning at its racist best);7. Worst of all, many Americans either do not know these problems exist, try to pretend they're not problems, or actively argue in favour of these things because they truly don't know what systemic racism is;So yeah, you go ahead and believe that your country isn't racist. Unfortunately for those who do, PB is in many ways a step down because it requires manually managing memory, and I suspect that that's why we don't have a lot of games written in it. PB sells itself as easy, but is about as hard as C in many respects, and by the time you've worked that out you're out $80 and have wasted a bunch of time. So I'm guessing a lot of people who went down that path just eventually gave up.I'm not claiming that people who buy PB are cracking things. But I'm also not generalizing from a couple examples. I've been around a long time, and a relatively popular BGT endgame is trying PB instead. I suspect that now (finally) people are landing on something mainstream instead, but the point stands. This community is odd enough that going and buying a niche programming language when you're still learning to program seems like a good idea to many, and when you try to counter that you just end up running into a brick wall. Blaze Punch is probably the best of the lot overall, since it utterly murders steel and ice types even more than it would have before. Spark Punch will wreck Arctana, but that's pretty much it; fighting and electric aren't super-compatible types. And then Ice Punch...same deal, really. Ice and fighting aren't super-compatible; many things resistant to one are weak to the other. They're neat ideas and all, but I think pokemon did it right when they made those moves actually match the element they start with (ice punch = ice, spark punch = electric, blaze punch = flame). Started on an iPad with Garage Band, with a midi box hooked up to my yamaha keyboard to trigger sounds. This was pretty anemic at the time, GB wasn't even close to what it is now. I used Audacity for hte better part of 5 years because at the time there was really no DAW out there that was accessible. Basically with Audacity its all copy/paste. And I have bugged some people out with this approach. If you hit the website link under my post it will take you to my soundcloud, if you scroll all the way down you'll find an album called Twilight Zone by an artist called the Phantom. i produced that whole record with audacity, mixed and mastered, etc, only thing that wasn't audacity was some instrument patches flown in from Garage Band, on the Mac of course. Production wasn't as good as it is now but there are still some tracks on there I am proud of when I play them back. I was also still learning how to scratch, so its a bit shaky there also.I moved to Reaper in 2018, using the SWS scripts, Osara and reapack, which has scripts to make the sampler way easier to use and do things that traditional samplers do. I make sample based stuff so unlike the Trap guys i don't really use that many keyboards in my stuff unless its to add some extra melodies to something I already have, which i kinda lost the ability of when I ditched Mac. Reaper is a really good DAW but it does have some quirks that can be annoying sometimes when you make beats, for example you can't turn on overdub by default, and you have to hit backslash before you record. This gets super annoying really fast when you lay down 8 bar drum sequences. Also compared to Mac OS there is a lot of tabbing in the windows version, I find it can slow me down sometimes.Rite now I have an MPC 1000 with JJOS and I'm trying to learn that machine. Believe it or not I'm actually getting somewhere, little by little. What's helpful is even with the amount of options an MPC has, its a simple interface to use, and perhaps most importantly, the cursor doesn't wrap. This is good because on some screens, like sample edit, it remembers what parameter you left your cursor on, so you can scroll through samples and apply the same edits without having to use your data wheel to scroll to the parameter you want. But if I wanna go back to the top, I just scroll left a bunch, or tap the up/left cursor buttons.As for keyboards, I really wanna move away from software based solutions. Maybe I'll have some anyway on my laptop, for a portable setup and all, but in general, at least on Windows, there's a lot of inaccessible applets for plugin companies, launchers, annoying DRM, inaccessible plugins, etc. Its just annoying and I don't wanna deal with it. I'm sick of asking for help on shit I shouldn't need help on, I know how this music thing works, you know what I mean? So I'm in the market to get a rompler with decent enough sounds to lay atop sample based boom bap beats to give them a bit of character. I doubt I'll be doing super keyboard heavy stuff but hey, you never know.Similarly, Baringer's model D minimoog clone looks dope! I would love to mess around with one of those! I bought it yesterday, downloaded all the mods plus Java (creating account just for an installer was so ug) and have just played the first ironclad run. From the first playthrough I can see that I will definitely enjoy this game in the days to come, and this will bring many hours of enjoyment. a question though. each spier has a main boss, and has 15 floors, correct? once you move from a tile, you can't go back to it. Not an uprising persay, more like a forshadowing? Basically a fascist group paid folks to just cause chaos. What do i mean cause chaos?
