This would give multiple sound buffers, would make it much easier to manage things, and would allow sounds to continue if the window is switched away from. It is also easier to manage things like adjusting settings in realtime because you can get the buffer it's attached to. It uses BASS and you can have multiple sounds going at once. You wouldn't have to worry about all those do_after_special() calls either, because you could place require "wait" and use a wait.name anon in your scripts which is way more reliable.Oh something of note, sometimes whatevber prompt you have set up isn't newlining, and you have situations like this middleleg and hurt it moderately.where it's cut off when you do certain actions like knee. I remember bagk on ios I had to do a search for an accessible file transfer program, find another one for my pc, link them both to the same network, make sure everything was going into a folder I could find, transfer everything over and hope that the connection doesn't time out. On my current phone, I just plug it into my pc and drag and drop stuff both ways with no restrictions. As often as ivtransfer data around, android is just tons more convenient for me. Re: Why isn't talkback improved, or as good as voiceover @60 to be honnest, realibility depends on the phone.When I had my previous android phones, I could count on them all the time comparred to previous iPhones, if I had an important call to do at the end of the day, I would do it on my android since I surely had some battery left, comparred to the iPhones where I most likely had to charge them up in the noon or best case in the evening.I could always be sure I had reception on my Samsungs, no matter which where on my iPhones I didn't and some more stuff I won't continue with since I might make everyone that loves apple jump down my troath.But in the recent days, I can say I counted more on my XR than on my Galaxy a50, just because this phone is pure trash.The battery sucks, the phone heats up all the time, well, 250 apps have to say something about that comparred to my 40 or so on the iPhone, it can get slow when ever it feels like and more than that, it just feels like it could break in my hands because the construction is so poor.If I had a better android, I would count more on it than on my iPhone since they always served me well, but I guess it depends on what we choose because of our budget.I will always have both of these worlds now since it is hard to drop one or the other, but with a decent android phone I know that would always be my main. Node is popular and you can find lots of learning resources, but it's kind of the worst of all possible worlds, and the primary reason it became popular is because lots of devs already knew JS. I can't speak to Ruby on Rails, but Django just gives you a bunch of stuff out of the box like backend control panels for admins, templating languages, etc etc etc that Node doesn't really have good equivalents to unless you go hunting for all the different pieces and figure out how to put them together yourself. And you can avoid the async programming stuff with adequate performance for what you're probably thinking of doing.Python is more popular than Ruby but people who know what they're talking about have told me that Ruby on Rails is basically the same thing, so for the "this is easy, I just turned on some switches and got a dozen features" approach it should also deliver.And to the people who are likely as not to be all "but Node is fine": work has code that we copy between all our services because if you throw exceptions in Express endpoints they hang forever, and I've found bugs in the ORMs (plus, none of them give you easy migrations either). Yeah it's got learning resources, but "hunt for the libraries you need on NPM and haha there's no ways to tell if it's a good one until you try using it" is not at all a good experience for someone new in my opinion, and async programming is *way* harder than people here seem to be giving it credit for. Those countries actually have a much higher tax rate, not sure of China, but Europe most definately. But to tax the rich, you need to tax money they hold, not just the money they make, or it will be fruitless. A wealth tax in addition to an income tax should exist. I think as you, that covid underscores the need for healthcare independant of your job as well as universal income of some sort, and a better social safety net. Education too. The class division perpetuates itself. For example, say you were born in an underdeveloped state, or city, or a poor neighboorhood. You will go to poorer schools, with less funding that may do a worse job of teaching you, then which will lead you to do worse on tests, which will lead you to no college, or not a good one. Even if you got into one, if your family couldn't pay for it, you are without an education. I would think you understand the patern here. I mean, not like I've been into politics before, but I've met some one who lost their job due to COVID layoffs and such, and they have no income. None. They go days without eating because there's nothing else that they can do. They're working on getting food stamps, but because government is slow at everything, they live off of what money I can give them. Let's be clear, if there wasn't people like me who care, these kinds of people, who are now unemployed, would be dead. I mean, not even the churches around this person cares enough to help. People in America are starving, yes, starving, and these ass hole politicians keep on playing their stupid game of seeing just which one of the two old, rich, white men get elected in their continued game of political entertainment. And that's what it is. Just a show of chaos and all that on TV, to be watched and fretted over, and talked about. But it shouldn't! It effects people, real people! I could get behind universal income if there was a source of money to fuel it. And I could get behind taxing the rich, because Sanders doesn't need freaking 2 or 3 houses, neither does Bill Gates or anyone else, and Biden doesn't need millions of dollars, either! But if we tax the rich, they'll probably just go to Europe or China or somewhere else. hat doesn't excuse it, and it'd show just how awful they are, but what do I know. I was raised here in Alabama, by, pretty much, the government, and didn't learn much in school. I am, was... very underdeveloped in the mind department. I probably still am. But if normal people can live without two houses, three cars, a millions of dollars that is unneccisary, then the rich can do. I mean, not even the old kings had what rich people have today. And that just shows that, in every age, the rich keep getting richer, and the more struggle to stay alive. Granted, there are far less very poor people today than there was in the old days, but nowadays we *can* help the very poor far better than we could before. All these politicians make me so angry because they're all like "I care about you," while not giving us a single cent! Neither Biden nor Trump would give the person I know a job. Obama, Bush, or Clinton wouldn't have either. And Trummps whole message is "make America great again." Again? When has life ever been, materially speaking, greater than it is now. When, in the past 6000+ years of recorded human history, have we ever had this much free time, money, and food as a society? When have we ever had this much entertainment? never. Now, mentally, we're pretty messed up. Depression, anxiety, all that is through the roof, and COVID has only intesified that. And we're all so loney and in need of... something. I belive we're in need of God and forgiveness and Love, but that's just me. We are *not* in need of politicians filling us up with their hatred for "the other side," or their cheap entertainment shows called debates and rallies. If they actually did work, and made things better, and gave a single crap, I'd be fine with them. But none of them do. None of them!And there are so many people who go on and on and on about abortion. You know what, I want to see them asked about people who are starving, in this literal land of freaking plenty, where you can get a burger, for a dollar or a little more, where /school lunches/ are just thrown away because we're all so very wasteful! Instead, you know what? The food that isn't eaten during school lunches could be given to people who are unemployed. And I just now thought of that! I mean, I'm *not* the smartest person here, and definitely not in America. But I care about these people! I mean, here I am with a job, can afford to order food delivered to me because I've eaten microwave meals for four months and I'm so tired of it, and I'm doing two staff members worth of work every week and I'm coming to my breaking point. And yeah, I'm not that great of a person. I'll say it right here. I'm selfish, I'm lazy, and I hate myself for it. But there are people, even if I'm not rich and losing money trying to help others, and need to start saving, who are even worse off than me, who eat raman noodles and rice every day or two or three because that's all they can afford, and no that's not three meals a day. Fortunately, this person is starting to find work. Not a job, just stuff that other people are paying them to do, but maybe, oh my God, just maybe it'll turn into something more.I'm a Christian. I take my faith as serious as I can. In this world of distractions, where ones sexual feelings and happiness and instant gratification bleaches every moral choice to dirty gray, and where ones happiness is seen as the top priority of life, it's very hard. Though for me at least text the spire and read the spire are still usefull. I have read the spire speaking automatically the monster and player info and I use text the spire's map window and path commands still when I plan my route through the map.I noticed a small bug when an enemy is both doing something strategic and attacking multiple times at the same time. When chosing that enemy the mod says for example "strategic 6" when it should say "strategic 6 x 3". This happened to me at least consistently in the Donu and Deca boss fight. It happened also in some other fight but I don't remember which enemy that was. I noticed this since I also use text the spire and it reported the information correctly. Has any one else noticed this or could this be some strange interaction between say the spire, my NVDA settings and the Finnish language speech synthesizer I use.Another thing I noticed when I go to Run history from the Statistics main menu item my game always crashes. This is not mentioned in known issues so I wonder does this happen to others as well. I am aware that you can inspect the run history with text the spire. Also the character stats under statistics seem not to be currently accessible unless I missed something.
