yeah, all /listexits does at the moment is tells you if you're near a border and how many steps away it is.wall notifications would be nice though they're not something I've needed, because as you said buildings are squares.navigating castles and forts is also easy because there are braziers to guide your path to all the important rooms.what did jump used to do and why was it more useful?  I only started playing after the big patch from last month.Harvesting trees does not in itself provide logs.  The point to harvesting trees is that harvesting lowers the durability of the tree far faster than actually attacking (at least with the crappy quality wooden axes and stats you start with.)  So you harvest twice (because a third time will completely destroy the tree,) then attack with the axe.  If the axe deals the killing blow, so to speak, you'll earn more logs than if if another weapon or your harvesting dealt the killing blow.  If you use discord, I highly recommend the game's Discord server.  Everyone is really friendly and you could speak to the developer directly about your suggestions.I'm also active on there and would be happy to help you out further as I could respond far quicker.The server's link is:https://discord.gg/FEp52yj

so a few things:The game originally announced when you were approaching area exits, but none of us on the discord liked it.  It was extremely spammy and slowed everything down.what I've done is map the /listexits command to E so whenever I walk around I can quickly hit E to hear what exits I'm near.Also, finding the lost child is easy.  just /shout follow me as you wander around the area.  If the child hears you, it will join you.when traveling over the worldmap, use S (that's shift s) to enter stealth mode.  it dramatically reduces the odds of encountering monsters while traveling, at the cost of navigation taking more ingame time and movement costing more stamina.On that note, leaving an area through the /leave command fully refills your stamina bar if you're not interrupted.  this is because the leave command takes up about an hour of ingame time.  So if you're traveling around the world stealthed, you can e to enter then /leave if you are in what appears to be a safe area.  You may be wrong sometimes, so try to enter an area immediately after your stamina shows as winded.If there are evil creatures threatening you, manually walk to an exit and head that way.  This is where jumping is invaluable.if you hit space or type /jump, you will be given a little targetting cursor that you use to position where you want to end up.  You can typically only jump about 2 tiles, but it works as a dodge as well as movement, though keep in mind it will cost a good chunk of stamina.try only using that when something is already on top of you or if some baddy is shooting stones at you.  When fleeing, try to pick a direction where you know there is a non-aggressive critter.  Most animals won't attack you, so if you can head in the direction of one, great, as they will distract your attacker long enough for you to escape.the jumping cursor is moved with the arrow keys, and you'll receive spoken feedback about what is on each tile you target.Regarding wood... wood is very easy to obtain, and there are multiple ways of doing so.the majority of objects can be salvaged with the /salvage command.  You'll learn the recipe to make them and there's also a pretty high chance you'll obtain parts that can be used for your own crafting projects.  Keep in mind though that if a commoner sees you, your relationship with them will drop, so enter stealth mode before salvaging their furniture... or their door.to acquire a lot of wood from trees, harvest them twice to get them nearly destroyed, then attack them with an axe.  wooden axes are really easy to craft.  You only need 6 wooden blocks to build your workbench and the axe combined, and after you build your first workbench, your dowel is 1 wood (and you get two,) and the axe itself is another.The tree should drop a bunch of logs (or at least more than the 1 log you'd get from just harvesting the tree) which you can then turn into wooden blocks or planks for future crafting projects.I suggest you establish a home somewhere, whether that's setting a local waypoint in a house in Relica and claiming it for yourself or building one elsewhere so you have a place to store all your resources.  Building one elsewhere is nice because you can then plant things in or around it for more resources in a few days.On that note, always eat cooked meals whenever possible.  Toss some fruits or fresh meat into a campfire or fire pit and use the /cook command.  Those meals provide a bit of healing, boost up your stamina and boost up your stats a bit.As has previously been stated, mercs are very useful and I highly recommend getting some, as even if yours isn't particularly powerful, it will still act as a distraction while you escape whatever you're fighting.Okay, I think that's all the advice I can think of.Let me know if you have more issues or questions!

so with all that pasted, I thought I'd go a little deeper into how the commands work./condition and /targetcondition should definitely report emotional state.  It's possible that they didn't in an older version but they definitely do now.You can use your inventory without pressing any buttons.  /i will inspect an item whether it's on the ground or in your inventory, /use will interact with it, then you've got your usual /take, /drop, etc.If you're having trouble finding a certain object, you can tab through the list.  Sapi will read every item.Once an item or being is your target, you can use /use or /take or /give or any other command without specifying a target.I strongly recommend binding all the commands you use most often to keys, this can be done with the /setkey command.To bind /li (inventory) to I, you'd do /setkey I listitems.I might have those backwards, I don't currently have the game open to check.There are a bunch of present keys, e will interact, for example.  They can all be seen with /help.Also, if you're using NVDA, you can type in the box / do things without actually navigating to the text box.  Just press NVDA+space to disable browse mode, do what you need to do and then hit the keys again and your position on the webpage should not be changed.

Actually Dark, all of that can be done through / commands.I'd suggest grabbing the latest version as many commands have been introduced in the last couple weeks.I'll paste the latest few changelog entries for you, at least those that pertain to new commands.--- Added a /highdetail setting which provides more information in the game log for actions and events normally handled by other parts of the interface. It will produce a message for every step taken in local areas, inform you of the closest tile to exit a local area, and produce messages when new targets come into view. --- Added /listwearing, /listholding, /listitems, and /listtargets which produce in-log lists of their respective windows. Can also be performed with /lw, /lh, /li, and /lt.- Added /condition and /targetcondition commands which list the condition of you or your target. /targetcondition can also be invoked with /tc, and the statement is also now part of /inspect.- Added more descriptive text to various actions such as /search and /moveto so they provide the same level of information in the game log as they do on the map- Added /speechrate (1-10) command which adjusts the speed of ingame Text-to-Speech. Can also be invoked with /sr.- Added a few more commands to output commonly referenced information to the game log:--- /stats lists out your primary stats--- /attunement lists all of your attunement ratings--- /class outputs your class information--- /target while having a target will output its distance and direction--- /targets lists all visible targets--- /keyfragments outputs the number of fragments currently owned and the total collected- Added game log feedback from adjusting the /build reticle when /highdetail is enabled- Performing actions while TTS is speaking now interrupts the voice and starts reading the most recent events. definitely at least an 8 or a 9.The only thing that isn't accessible to us at the moment is the map, and there are other ways of obtaining some of the information it contains.the developer's also open to feedback on the discord server; Most of my suggestions have been put in the next patch one or two days later.

Exploring settlements is actually not difficult at all, especially with the new local waypoints.What I like to do is start at one of the corners, and move a couple steps away from one of the exits until I bump into a wall.  You know you've reached a wall because it'll tell you you need a pick axe to move in that direction.Once you do that, you can just trail the building.  Most houses are like 10x10 or so so you don't have to bump into the wall every time you move.As of the latest update, doors should always be on the south side of the building, at least for houses.  to open a door, you just walk through it.Once you've scavenged through your first house, just head straight in another direction, e.g. if you found the house on the northwest corner of the settlement, face away from the eastern wall and head east until you hit the next building.  They're all lined up.  You can repeat the same steps in the next house.Some of the buildings are not yet complete.  You'll know you're at one because unlike the houses, they're not squares.  also, when you enter them, you'll see donation boxes.  Inspecting them will tell you what supplies are needed to complete that building.

so I haven't forgotten about the article and/or demo I'm supposed to record.I'm just waiting for tomorrow's patch because a change in the last update made things a little more difficult for beginning players.  specifically, the new speech interrupts the dev put in also cause speech to be interrupted when reading stuff when multiple lines of text come in at once.

@Luel: are you playing the game through your web browser and playing locally?the local game is respecting my default voice, but my language and region settings are all English-based, so I'm wondering if that's screwing things up.I've also been considering trying the NvSapi thing because then'd you'd just adjust NVDA's speech rate and it would work fine.Regarding dances, I haven't messed with any of that stuff yet so I honestly have no idea.I've been too busy building houses and crafting.

I never had to remap anything with ds4windows.  I just paired the controller then pressed the start button and I was good to go.if this isn't a ps4 or 5 controller though, then it's possible that ds4windows screwed whatever controller he bought up even more.You can undo whatever ds4windows is doing by pressing the stop button.

Can't say I'm all that impressed.  the shopping system is kinda neat but after buying a ship and doing a few things here and there it feels just like all the other space moos.  I do appreciate the lore and the whole cast system concept, but I don't feel like that does enough to make the game unique.Plus, for a game that has strict rp policies, I was disappointed to see people speaking in English and Old English accents.  What is an Old English accent especially relative to a few hundred years in the future?Plus, who's to say people even speak English?  I would personally prefer accents being based on the regions within the game world with OOC resources describing what they might sound like.CR has very similar problems.

If the links don't change to say 'subscribed' then you haven't subscribed to them.  make sure a pop-up didn't appear at the bottom of the page.  That typically will happen if a mod has other mod requirements.Once you have successfully subscribed to all the mods, try running the game normally then closing it.  Sometimes that helps.

@Xvordan:  Strikes and defends aren't all bad, and there are several ways to get rid of them in one go.  An upgraded defend is actually a pretty great defense card especially if you have a way to boost your dex.  When i started playing getting rid of my strikes was the first thing I always did, but I've started holding back on that because they're actually pretty fantastic all through act 1 and even act 2, and they're even better if you can get to that event that upgrades all your strikes and defends.  Additionally, ironclad has a deck that revolves around having as many cards with the word strike on them as possible.

To be fair, there's nothing wrong with asking if a game is free.  the problem comes when people act offended when they find out that it isn't.

I thought I was starting to get a handle on the game myself.  I could beat the game pretty consistently on ascention 0 and 1, then I unlocked act 4, and wow, what a slap in the face that was!My point being there will be times when you feel really confident and then something will happen to make you feel really stupid, but try to learn at least one thing from every game you play and it will get easier.Also, I highly recommend people disable all character mods until act 4 has been unlocked.  I was unable to unlock it myself until I disabled them then beat the game with all four characters again.@Stewie;  Great job on this little mod. It's fantastic!

I finally decided to give this mod a whirl a few days ago.  It's pretty neat, though since I use a numbpad emulator it conflicts with autodrive which is a little unfortunate.The targeting beeps are pretty neat, but I think my favorite feature is the automatic announcement of locations.  Using autodrive, I feel like I might be able to get a decent idea of how streets are laid out in LS.  Also, the mod has made falling much more entertaining.For those of you concerned about keys conflicting with simple trainer, they don't.  Simple trainer allows you to navigate menus with your gamepad.  The only thing you need your keyboard for is to press f3, and I'm pretty sure the A11y mod does not use that key.On the topic of simple trainer, the keybinding info can all be found in the simple trainer configuration file.

I see.  As of now, all existing independent kingdoms are vassals of mine, so I guess I have to choose one to take out to spawn a new one?  That makes me feel terrible! As for the grand champion thing, your plan makes logical sense and is realistic, but wouldn't it basically defeat the purpose of holding grand tournaments?  Since most of the combatants are so evenly matched later in the tournament, the victor will be far weaker than it started and finding powerful personal champions will become somewhat difficult.On that note, is there an advantage to having all of your personal champion slots filled up?  I can't find a use for them, other than running forts, but I can hire any old warrior with high strength to do that.  I know you can send them out to battle, but I don't see how 6 champions can contribute meaningfully to your combat potential especially if you have members of more powerful races already in your army, e.g. demons.

Hi.I recently picked this game up after a few years and I'm loving the latest changes so far.  Sadly though, I appear to have reached the end of my current game, which is a shame because I've gotten really attached to my nation and my six or seven vassals.  Throughout my run, I encountered a few gamebreaking things, but I'm not really sure they can be fixed in a way that makes sense.  I've found that it's really easy to build up a ridiculously powerful champion that can dominate in the arena provided spiked pits are closed.  Following that, all you need to do is bet the max amount every year and you're basically garenteed a fortune.  Additionally, if you lose a ton of money in the arena beforehand, your betting max is increased, so I lost a million gold, bet a million on my champion in a grand tournament or w/e and then found myself with more money than I would ever need.  I then purchased the troops from my allies and turned them into vassals.Now I'm not really sure what to do.  I was hoping the game would allow me to spawn an even more powerful nation like it did early in my game, but no such luck.  I have yet to find the vampires or the demon gate though, so that may be something I should look into next.Is there anything else I can do to continue my expansion?  As ridiculous as my nation has become, i am enjoying watching all the numbers grow.This post is all over the place, but I also had a suggestion.  It would be cool if reputation with factions rose and fell as you messed with their allies.  So let's say I'm allied with faction A and faction B attacks me.  Unless Faction A and B have an alliance, faction A should lose regard for faction B and consider raiding faction B on my behalf.  Also, should my vassal nations be attacking each other?Thanks, and keep up the amazing work on this gem of a game!

You'll know when it gets stuck because no matter what you type, it just repeats the last thing it told you again and again.  I also had a game where it was just echoing what I typed back at me.  The game over text is literally just story text.  if you die, just pray to a god or something.  if you win, plan another adventure.  It helps if you do something simple and allow it to continue the story however it wants.

The developer made the game free for the holidays.  if you really want this game to continue, support it on Patreon.  it's costing them insane amounts of money to keep the game running for everybody, but just $5 a month can cover your gameplay for that month.  This isn't a big game studio or anything, just some college kid.I saw on Patreon that he wants to eventually create persistent worlds so there's a bit more continuity, and the game would presumably appear more like a text adventure/MUD.

Tried this game last night.  Seems like it has a lot of potential but everything seems really hard to follow as of now.  I wish the sounds were a little more serious, but low quality sounds aren't really a dealbreaker for me.  I liked Fruitpot a lot, and I don't expect this game to disappoint once all the issues are ironed out.

This sounds like a very neat concept.  The closest I've seen to this level of literary complexity would probably be Lost souls, and only in that it also contains a lot of subjective content.  Characters only know what their skills allow them to know and sensory traits affect how much of a location is perceivable.  their system is still very simplistic though, as your alignment has no affect on descriptions, neither does anything else really, for that matter.  I actually find the idea of a non-visual world fascinating from a literary perspective.  Not only are MUDs biased toward sight, but I feel like the English language is as well, and I've never seen anyone try to create a world where vision does not exist.  I've found plenty of short stories or books that feature blind protagonists, but they're still aware of what seeing is, what colors are, etc.  So what would happen if the concept of sight wasn't even a thing?  How would people live?  What kind of art would they produce?  etc.That See show on Apple Tv Plus tries to play with that concept, but it doesn't really delve very deep into the cultural/societal aspect of things and I lost interest midway through the second episode.I also love the concept of worlds within a universe.  A non-vision based human race is only the beginning.  How would you write up a world where whatever sentient race you played as could only feel their environment? or perhaps had all five senses, but another one, such as smell being their primary sense?Anyway, neat concept!  Unfortunately for me, I have finals week coming up this week and I have terrible self-control.

Yeah.  I kept killing workers off at first, which I thought was neat.  I got a bunch of upgrades that improved farmer performance, but the balancing act wasn't really ending and I just got tired of it.  I don't have any interest in balancing resources if I don't really care about the characters/workers/whatever I might be dealing with.  if there's no story text to reward me, I have no interest in taking the time to progress.  The religion system did sound pretty interesting though, and I might continue just to see what that's all about.  I built a few temples before I stopped playing, but I had to wait forever to collect 1000 piety.  Also, I couldn't just leave the game running, because my farmers occasionally got attacked by wolves without me noticing and then all of my workers died.  lol

You can switch formations whenever you'd like.  You can switch by using those buttons, or by pressing the keys associated with the formation's letter.  e.g. press h to switch to heap, b for barrier, x for none, etc.

I've had a few situations that I've found unbeatable, but they're pretty rare.  I've been on ropes before, and approached other roped pits, but the ropes were too far for me to jump to and so I'd die by staying on my rope or die by trying to jump to the next.  Also, there was a situation where I found a button, then its door caught up to me while I was chillin' on another rope... Unfortunately, the door handle was again across the field and I was flying over a canyon, and smash!  It was really kind of unfortunate as I had a decently high score at the time.I also just had a weird situation where I fell into a pit that wasn't audible.  I just heard the ascending tones indicating I was nearing a cliff, but I was so startled that I didn't have time to jump!

Doors as an obstacle are not difficult for me to get through.  I do think it a bit weird that the only indication of one's presence is a sound that's located on a very specific part of the field.Anyway, I'm loving this game.  It's extremely addicting!  Nice work!

What do you mean by doubling up on them?  I've just reached zone 120.  10 zones to go!  It may take another week to get there, but I'm determined to reach it!  Then I'll be able to finish all of the Scientist challenges, mapocalypse, coordinated and slow!  I know the smart thing to do would be to portal and cash in the 500k helium I have, because it'll make reaching 130 really easy after this, but I am too stubborn for my own good.

The coordinated perk does.  You acquire it by completing the Coordinate challenge that is unlocked at zone 120.  It reduces the percentage of Trimps necessary to acquire coordination upgrades by 2% but leave the stat boosts the same.

That is an evil, evil daily challenge!  It might give as much helium as life but Life actually gives you a really amazing advantage if you're able to use it! lol@Dark:  Decay isn't difficult at all.  You may not be able to finish it your first few times, but that's okay because you'll reach your limit in like two hours and gain a lot of helium as a result.  The important thing is to ensure that you automatically return to the world when you finish acquiring every equipment upgrade you need from maps.  You shouldn't have trouble with resources until you hit zone 50 or so, but at that point it's just waiting to see if you can beat 55 or not.  If you can't, you can always abandon the challenge and complete your run, then portal again.  You still would have gotten a shortcut to zone 50!

I'm currently trying to stumble my way through the life challenge.  I'm assuming losing stacks will only become an issue later on when opponents are much scarier than my trimps, but right now as of zone 40 something I haven't really had to worry about them.I'll probably mess around with dailies after this though.Edit:Aaand... I get that map issue whenever I start a new map but I'm unable to send trimps out.  I think the summary display assumes you have 0 attack and health until a group is sent out or something.  I'm not sure.  Anyway, if you're uncertain, you can always check your actual attack and health and compare them to your opponent's and not use the summary display.  It's far more informative anyway, because the summary only considers minimum damage.

@Dark:  It is actually possible to view stacks easily.  The amount is next to the amount of trimps fighting, e.g. Trimps (725M) 30As for the life challenge, I believe the idea is if you are approaching the virus, you head to the maps screen then return to instantly kill off the army that was sent out.  It's cruel, but cruelty is the name of the game!Yeah, breeding speed does slow down around zone 60, but it picks right back up again really quickly a few zones in, at least till you get geneticists.

As for the rest of you lot!!!I read through my post this morning and it sounded unnecessarily harsh.  I wasn't irritated at all. lolI had just finished my last assignments of the semester and I had been up all night, so sorry about that!Carpentry definitely does get better and better.  I've reached the point where I don't start falling behind on coordination till past zone 60, which makes the 50s a walk in the park.  A lot of these issues you all are facing now will also be issues you face down the road.  You'll just have different tools to solve them.and yes, I understand that impatience.  It's why I sometimes talk myself into going on Kong and buying bones for bone portals.  What kind of ratio do you all have your workers set to?Do you use your wood on gyms?  Block is still incredibly useful even past zone 60, because things don't pierce on maps.  In fact, I've been sitting on a zone 101 map for the past 24 hours because I have 4 voidmaps that I have to complete before I portal.  I'm held back by my painfully low block, so I've been building gym after gym for the last day.  Don't overlook gyms.  Even by zone 50, gyms will be providing the majority of your block.  Build as many as you can.  Forget that ridiculous shield until after zone 60, but even then, build tons of gyms!Keep in mind that if you click on an element, e.g. your attack, you'll be shown a table that lists all of the factors that contribute to the stat that you have.  This helped me a lot because I never actually realized how much gymystic upgrades contributed to block.  When you look at the upgrade description, it looks pretty pittiful. lolAnyway, you got this!  You'll have so much helium after you ccross the planet-breaking point that the 50s will be a breeze, but don't worry, you'll probably get stuck in the 70s for a while too.  hahaha

@Greensatellite: Love the changes to the map screen.  I'm so glad you haven't gotten sick of us yet!  I do have a few suggestions/concerns though.1.  All of the tooltips that ask you to press s are specific to NVDA.  Each screen reader has a different keystroke to move to the next or previous separator object.  I was thinking it might help non-NVDA users if the tooltips specified why people were supposed to press s, e.g. 'press s, or the appropriate move to next separator object key for your Screen Reader.'  That or you could just have a prompt show up when you open the game notifying people that the game is specifically optimized for NVDA.2. I'm very close to the life challenge, and I've been trying to think of ways of making it accessible.  Having cells updating every second may make it hard to track information down, but a good start might be to turn the entire zone/map view into a table that dynamically updates based on what's going on.  I don't know how easy this is to do, or if NVDA would even handle it well, but a good start could involve just turning the zone into a table, and you could have the cell that the player's trimps are on have an x placed on it to see how people like it.  If thing are happening too quickly, we can always press pause.  If we're able to figure this part out though, personal spires should be a piece of cake, and those are really the only thing I care about. lol  Tower Defense games are few and far between in the blind community.  I only know of 1!I'm tempted to grab a high level save from Reddit and see how accessible all of that stuff is so I can offer more direct feedback before I actually reach that point on my own save.Anyway, thanks so much for all this work you've done to make this game a breeze to play.  As you can probably tell, we are all loving it on this forum and I've gotten several other blind folks to play.    Keep up the amazing work!

It's really not that hard, but it will take several runs to be successful.  I don't understand why you all won't attempt the challenge just because you won't succeed at it.  Success isn't the point.  The point is to power through to zone 40-50, gain a bunch of helium, perk up and try again.  Eventually, you will beat zone 55 and have access to garden maps, and even once you do, decay will be worth it.There are no penalties for dropping a challenge mid-run.  If you get stuck at zone 45, drop the challenge and when you get bored, portal and repeat.Being able to select garden maps is amazing because you also get that 20% loot increase while in a garden map.  It's incredible.

Yeah.  I've never been into this kind of game.  I always got bored after like two hours, but here I am still playing Trimps. lolOne potential solution for increasing damage between zones 45 and 60 is only upgrading weapons.  use wood on building gyms instead of your shield and use all of your metal on your weapons.  It's still really slow going, but eventually, that point does get easier.Also, regarding science in decay challenges, why not hire more scientists or research yourself?  You're supposed to be researching yourself anyway, as having a bunch of trimps doing it isn't very efficient, though I tend to anyway.Keep in mind that this is an idle clicker game.  You are expected to idle to a degree.  If map farming for four hours isn't as fast as you would like, spend more helium on loot and/or motivation.  Purchase more imports once you have the bones for them.  Try running slightly higher level maps. etc.make sure to adjust the difficulty slider as high as you can afford each time.  Also, make sure your trimps can oneshot any opponent they face.One last thing, have you maxed agility yet?

I've managed to do a lot of pushing because I've had to prepare for finals for the last two weeks, so have had little time for the game.  I'm pretty sure you could idle your way pretty far into the game without portalling if you had the time.  I managed to hit 100 last run.  I also occasionally treat myself by buying bone portals on Kong.

So a few things:The 40s are definitely one of the toughest points.  Wormholes are the only housing structures that require helium though.  Once you reach 50, you can buy gateways which only cost gems.  This is why building a bunch of tributes is vital early on.If you know you're going to power your way to 50, buy wormholes.  They will make the run faster and you will make up your losses and have more helium to spare.  I didn't buy any this run, but only because I was trying to get the 1000 helium per hour achievement.As for electricity, I have access to it but I haven't messed with it.  I don't think it's worth it given that it still takes me a while to reach zone 80.  Maybe once I have 100k more helium or so I'll consider giving it a try.  I can usually get around 50k per run so maybe in a few days.

Don't overlook the decay challenge, even if you can't complete it.  It can definitely get you to zone 50 give or take 5 zones and the helium you gained in those two-three hours will have been worth it.  You can always give up on a challenge if needed.

Trapper really isn't that bad.  It's a little slow but once you have the auto-trap upgrade it's not really a problem.  Also, don't forget to assign a bunch of levels to your bate perk.  Anticipation will make all of the struggle worth it.

Nurseries are great.  Right now I'm having trouble balancing nurseries with geneticists and keeping my breeding timer around 30 seconds to max my anticipation boost but it's proving to be really difficult.  I should try to math everything out but that seems like it would take some of the fun out of the game.I just realized, at zone 79, that I completely forgot to complete the wall.  I'm so mad at myself right now!Anyway, part of the reason carpentry is so nice is that it indirectly raises breeding rate.  More trimps means faster breeding speeds, but also faster production and faster pretty much everything, I guess.

You can only run a void map once.Also, those 12 hour resource things are really not worth it.  I buy them all the time and regret them every time.  A huge reason I bought them was to get storage buildings built automatically, but auto-storage eliminates that need now, thankfully.

I'd be kind of hesitant to drop a few levels in carpnetry too, but it really depends on what they'd be going into.  Looting is an amazing perk to invest in this early in the game because it does increase helium gains.  More helium at lower levels = the faster you can raise carpentry and those other insanely expensive perks.  I maxed out meditation immediately just because I often sit at one zone in a map even when I don't necessarily have to.@Darren:  Questions are great and we're happy to answer them, but we can't tell you when you might be ready for something.  We don't know your helium situation, perks, achievement damage, etc.  Void maps scale their level to your current level, so whether you start it at zone 33 or 60 won't matter too much in terms of difficulty.  I generally wait to break the planet before running a voidmap, and if I can't break the planet, I just go as far as I'm able to go on that particular run, spend a day or so stocking up on upgrades and things then running my voidmaps.  There is no right or wrong way to do it though.  Experiment.  have fun!  You're not going to break your game.  Pretty much any decision can be undone, and if there was a decision that couldn't be undone, you could export your save before doing it.

You probably shouldn't pile all your workers into metal production before zone 60.  Food and wood is equally as important.  In fact, food may actually be more important just because building more tributes means faster gem production, and several high level buildings require large amounts of gems.Wood is essential for gym upgrades, and for building hundreds of gyms.  I usually never take damage between zones 45-55, because you receive those gym upgrades every 5 zones.  The biggest problem is actually dealing damage, at least for me.  How long would you say each of your runs is?

I believe most of my damage at the moment comes from traps and achievements.  I think I was also being affected by an import that multiplied attack when I grabbed that.  I was also running a map two or three levels below my current zone iirc, which is why my damage was so high. Traps are great.  If you increase the bate perk, you'll be able to grab more than 1 trimp every time you check a trap and it can be a viable alternative to breeding.  A challenge later on basically disables the ability for trimps to breed and you're required to get by with traps alone.  Fun stuff!

Oh!  Is the anticipation perk required for the breeding timer to show up?  That does make sense.I knew what the consequences for my action would be.  I'm just obsessed with seeing larger numbers, and I thought "hey!  What would my health be if I hired this many?"  My health was multiplied by like 3600%, which was amazing, except it took me about 45 minutes to see any results as I was in a poisonous voidmap.  I actually just did something very similar... I'm grinding maps on zone 80 and I was trying to switch formations with a hot key, and I pressed m rather than d, and I have auto-abandon on so I lost my army and I am not waiting a few centuries for it to repopulate.  I know I should fire some of those little Trimps, but I love having ridiculous amounts of hp lolI'm actually not having much trouble on zone 80.  I just unlocked auto-storage last night and that has made my life about a hundred times easier.  I woke up this morning with enough metal to upgrade all of my gear to the latest, despite the fact that I didn't have the storage space for the required metal last night.

I've been off this forum for a long time, but let's see.The metal challenge is actually not as bad as it sounds.  You can't have miners, but at early levels, with your efficiency upgrades, you can generally mine metal better than a bunch of miners could anyway.  Once you complete that, I'd strongly recommend completing the size challenge though.  Carpentry is a game-changer.You generally do not want to rely on gathering speed early on.  Loot from maps is far more rewarding.  Later when you have all of the imports and map caches, gathering speed will be much more important.  It's still worth working on, but the bulk of your resources will definitely be coming from those maps.  I have a question for you higher level players.  is there currently an accessible way of viewing the breeding timer?  I just got my hands on Geneticists earlier today and they're a blast, but not being able to see the breed timer kinda sucks.  I was really frustrated with a level 76 void map so I used all of my food to recruit several hundred Geneticists and it took like 45 minutes for my army to breed... it was awful, but I got an achievement out of it. lol

HI all!It's been a while since I've posted here, but I've also just purchased a pretty impressive amount of bones and I ended up buying all of the imports for the hell of it.I'm really excited to see how they affect gameplay.So, I vaguely remember somebody saying they played this game with Jaws.  How do you do it?  My Jaws loves bouncing around the screen like a pinball, presumably because it's not a fan of constantly updating webpages.I've also just recently switched to Jaws from NVDA so there may be something I am unaware of.  I know there's a setting to prevent Jaws from refreshing pages for a set amount of time, but I'm not sure whether that would break the game or not.Anyway, I hope somebody can help.

Oooo!   You're about to break the planet!You should tel us what post-59 is like without revealing too much.Are the monsters past this point renamed?As for me, I just portalled for the second time yesterday.  I ended up raising the range, power and um... motivation perks a few levels.  I'm probably going to continue portalling around level 25 just to get all of those important perks to reasonable levels.  Then I want to complete that challenge that removes miners from the game.

Yeah.  I probably shouldn't have spent all of my helium on loot.  I was in the middle of class and kinda just wanted to go through the portaling process to see what it was like.I'm hesitant to look at the wiki and the reddit community because of spoilers.  Usually, I like looking at guides to figure out the optimal builds, but I want to figure things out on my own here as opposed to putting my save file on that one site that recommends builds.

So I just portaled for the first time earlier today.  I spent all of my helium for this last run on loot.  I'm thinking 100% greater drops will make reaching level 20 easier, then I can focus on something a little more substantial next time around.  I also went for the disciplined challenge; Having 0 minimum attack is making me a little nervous, but I'm sure I'll manage.

I'm using Chrome and am using full-screen.  The issue isn't very consistent.  It tends to come and go based on the day, I guess.I usually avoid these incremental games because I hate the idea of having to restart to advance.  I get attached to my big numbers and the idea of restarting, even if there are significant bonuses, makes me want to stop playing.  Yet, I'm still addicted to this game!I guess there is just so much content that I'm willing to deal with that to experience it all.I'm hoping spires will be pretty accessible by the time I get to that point, because they sound incredible.

yeah.  I never use the arrow keys when navigating, unless I'm checking what's on the map.I always use b and shift b to move through the list of buildings.  Sometimes though, especially when a lot of text is changing, NVDA likes jumping around a bit and it's really annoying.  It's not a Trimps specific issue though.  It's just NVDA being NVDA.

yeah.  I also occasionally have issues when I want to buy a bunch of 1 item and NVDA's focus bounces around a little.  Like earlier I wanted to buy like 3 or 4 hotels, but I accidentally hit the mansion button once and Poof! no more hotels.

This is such an amazing game that my planned productive weekend was ruined.  I was supposed to clean my apartment and get lots of homework done, instead, I was too busy watching imaginary monsters destroy a poor little planet's ecosystems.  Whatever shall I do?Anyway, I really appreciate the effort that has been taken to make this game accessible, and don't really have any interface-based complaints or suggestions excluding one.  Would it be possible to add a sound to notify you when resources are maxed?  I always get distracted from the game, then return to see everything maxed out and notice my trimps are just sitting around wasting time.One more thing, do you have a Patreon?Anyway, thanks, and keep up the amazing work!
