Hi Birender, I am using AX 2009 64 bit on Windows 7 OS. You will get compatibility errors but it works fine. I think it should be fine, if you want to install AX 2009 on your desktop / Laptop for your personal use. From the error it looks like that issue is with your HDD space. Just check your HDD space. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Urgent!!!Post synchronization job taking too much time
Hi Guys, I am upgrading Axapta 3.0 SP3 to AX 4.0 SP2. Client has around 125 GB of data. During upgrade checklist, post synchronization is taking too much time and system totally goes into processing mode (sort of hangs). It is running almost for past 40 hours. Is there any way to fasten the process, or find the problem area. Also please tell me, is it ok, if i restart AOS and restart post syncronization process in middle of this process (when 60% of post synch has already been completed). Second issue is that for one of the table, some duplicate record is automatically getting created, during DBUpgradeTool exe execution. Please advice on these issues. [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Validate Data upgrade from Axapta 3.0 SP3 to Axapta 4.0 SP2
Hi, Is there any way to validate, if the whole data has been migrated while performing upgrade from 3.0 to 4.0 SP2? I know that we can number of records in each table by running the report in each version, but still it is kind of partial solution, which we cannot rely on. The main problem seems to be the executeQuery code block. Why do you want to run executeQuery, because it will always take you to last record. I think you can connnect cognos with Axapta through some middleware like Biztalk server or webmethods. i have worked on such a project which was actually BILL PAYMENT AND PRESENTMENT, in which checkfree was performing the actual transaction (payment gateway ) and axapta was looking the back office stuff. Ofcourse this arrangement must require interface design. Yes i think Girish is correct. Ideally you should never delete any master data and moreover you have transactions (no and never !). If you don't want to select the records for one time item you can put some kind of validation, so that those records are not counted, a very ordinary example would be to modify the executeQuery method in the inventTable to always discard these records while displying on the form.

[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Printsetup on vendors
Hello,I have to make a setup for the print settings for each vendor (we set during printing of any report to file, mail, screen, printer etc) and then it should be defaulted to the purchEditlines form (from print requisition button). [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Regarding alternative work center when defined property
Hello friends, I am trying to use the alternative work center (using task group) and i have also defined property on operations during master planning. the alternative work center is working fine if i do not define property on master plan and operation but otherwise fails. any body worked on this before. Well i think you cannot override the data method of any table because this method is of Final type. This method is used to get the record of any table object. Usually used where a new record is to be inserted and you want to initiate some data from another table instance. probably You forgot to register business connector or your business connector is not working properly. you can check the reason of error yourself. Put the breakpoint on the add method of class info and when the error will be raised, you will be on the breakpoint. Then push Ctrl+Shift+F8 to go backward until you get the error condition. I am technical person so can only give you technical solutions.
