[Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Availability of Working times for the Workcenters
Hello every one, For the Item i have selected Workcenter Group in the route. And when ever i get a new call from customer i need to have an information about the availability of Workcenters for the Item. I should be able to get the information like whether i can book the order with respective to the delivery dates, if no slots are available, then what will be the suggested dates/times for booking the order. I can see up to when the workcenters are busy by opening Gantt Chart. But i need to specify the Item and quantity somewhere and check whether slot is avail or not. I had multiple Workcenters for the Workcenter group. And system have to check all the Workcenters in that group when finding the information. Is there any place to get such information in AX2009? Hi, I Have imported the Items through Definition Group. I have Included following tables for Import: - InvnetTable - InvnetTableModule - InventItemLocation - InventItemInventSetup - InventItemSalesSetup - InventItemPurchSetup After Importing the Data, I have the Following Issue: When i go to Items -> Setup -> Default Order Settings, I can see no Data here, like no item name, and no option to select Sites, in all tabs. Hi Singh, The error is because there is no cost price available for the items in stock. If, for the Invnetoty Model Group of the current item, you might have disabled Financial Negative Invnetory check box. At this case, for example if you post Report as Finish for any production order with out costing and try to use that posted quantity for updation! this error will come. In that case if you do costing the Production order and try the same, updation will happen. so first check where from the items are financially updated! Hi Santosh, Actually, we have to enable only the country which we wanted to use in Configuration Keys of Axapta. So, we went to Configuration Keys and disabled all other Countries. So, now it is working here fine, I am seeing only the Indian Localization in functionality. But still in VersionInfo, I get to see the Other Countries (Brazil, China, Japan, Thailand, India). Will it be like that only for AX2009? I think U might have runned or running Inventory closing. So, try to cancel the closing completly (If there is any Cancellation running). If closing have completed successfully, then u can not make any transaction for that period. If you wanted to make! then u have to run a cancellation and then do a transaction. But later while compiling AOT i got some errors. That is because, in reports and in some classes it had been coded with the enum name. so i just changed the label of those dimensions instead of changing Names. then it worked fine.. Go to AOT->DataDictionary->Tables->LedgerTable->Fields->Dimension. Check the EDT of the field. It refers to the EDT "Dimension". Now traverse AOT->DataDictionary->EDT->Dimension. In the Array elemets node, u can change the label name . You can repeat the same for other forms.. Check the attachement for more clarity. Hope it helps. but my requiremen is to use this task as a centralized. only one person will be printing the checks as there will be 8 to10 person entering the checks. one more thing, right now i am not able to select even a printer for check print. It is printing directly to the default printer with out prompting me to select the printer. And documentations says, Corresponding opening transactions should be created manually. How to create this manually. ? However if I post through General journal, it will become 'Normal' transaction. The only user defined type I know of in Axapta is Extended Data Types that are defined in the AOT. I also do not know of the possibility of declaring an Extended Data Type as a structure. The step I would take to accomplish this task is to simulate a two dimensional array (since Axapta does not allow you to create multi-dimensional arrays directly). If you search the developer's guide on arrays you will see the work around for multi-dimensional arrays.
