Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] AAR problem: AAR kicks in but call is not routed

2008-11-15 Thread jeremy co
Hi,

When I can call to external mask correctly means route pattern matched and
pstn is working.

As I said be4 there is no parition or CSS in my ccm.

1. check route pattern at cm, do you have a route pattern for external
phone-mask of br1. is it in the ccs of the gw?
2. check debug isdn q931 at pstn see any calls coming in?

but ccm wouls not forward call to H323 Gateway.

There is no location on GW configured adn no partition or CSS configured.

When I call directly the external number ,ccm forwards call but when AAR kicks
in ,it would not work.

Any idea?

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] AAR problem: AAR kicks in but call is not routed

2008-11-15 Thread jeremy co
hi,

I configured AAR and it kicks in.(I get the AAR message that call is
rerouted) but ccm wouls not forward call to H323 Gateway.

There is no location on GW configured adn no partition or CSS configured.

When I call directly the external number ,ccm forwards call but when AAR
kicks in ,it would not work.

Any idea?

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] AAR Problem!

2008-06-17 Thread Turpin, Mark
Earlier TEHO routes were brought up. Now that you've mentioned you don't have
partitions/css's can you double-check to see if you have any TEHO routes?

In the event of congestion AAR kicks in and finds the best route - the TEHO
route - pointing across the WAN and fails the call. What you need is to get
the TEHO routes out of AAR's CSS, even if it is .

2008-06-16 Thread ccievoice1
Hi Ahmed,

Just for the sick of troubleshooting, I would just quickly create a calling
search space and partition and make sure that my AAR's CSS only has
visibility to the Long Distance Route Pattern (and gotto make sure is route
out the local PSTN gateway).

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] AAR Problem!

2008-06-16 Thread Ahmed Hamed

ccievoice1,

What if I don't have a CSS or a partition defined anywhere? Not even an AAR
CSS!

Is it a requirement to have an AAR CSS defined?

Thanks,

AH

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] AAR Problem!

2008-06-16 Thread ccievoice1
Well,

I will always check and verify the calling search space and the partition.
Also, I will make sure that I have the AAR Group, AAR CSS and the External
Phone Mask configured on my ip phones. Lets not forget AAR Group and AAR CSS
on the gateway as well.

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] AAR Problem!

2008-06-16 Thread Ahmed Hamed

Hi ccievoice1,

Thank you for your reply.

I dont's think there is a typo below, but possibly a "mistake" :)

so...

HQ-AAR should have same prefix as original route pattern e.g. 91 and
9.16175222XXX

BUT I have it correct in the other way around

i.e.

Br1-AAR . prefix:91 with HQ-AAR

and original route pattern is 9.1211xxx

Any clue?

AH

[OSL | CCIE_Voice] AAR Problem!

2008-06-16 Thread Ahmed Hamed

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your reply.

Please find answers below to your questions:

Q1) Have you restarted CM service after enabling AAR?
A1) No, I did not. I will include that in my next troubleshooting.

Q2) Do you have TEHO/Toll-bypass configured?
A2) Where exactly do you mean? Both HQ phone and BR1 phone are registered on
same callmanager.

Q3) Have you tried to watch "debug isdn q931" on PSTN router?
A3) You are talking about the PSTN simulator in Proctor vRack? No, I did not..

Appreciate your feedback.

Thanks,

AH

Re: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] AAR Problem!

2008-06-16 Thread ccievoice1
Hi,

Not sure if it is typo error. You have AAR prefix 9 with BR1 while your
route pattern to BR1 is 916175222XXX

IF it is not a typo, then with your AAR Prefix + BR1 External Phone Mask =
96175222002 which didn't match your BR1 Route Pattern.

Br1-AAR . prefix:91 with HQ-AAR
HQ-AAR . *prefix: 9* with BR1-AAR

HQ phone dn [1001, 211001]
BR1 phone dn [2002, 6175222002]

Route patterns configured:
9.1211xxx
9.16175222xxx
