Re: Problems installing CFMX 7

2005-02-21 Thread dave
i kinda had that problem too. I just ran my plethora of windows cleaners and
regvac'd it then rebooted and installed smooth and easy.
 But the installer does have a tendency to "hang" for a bit if the puter hasnt
just be restarted

Well, after a bit of digging around in the archives I found the solution from
the 6.1 updater - I left the InstallAnywhere dialog open when it reached the

called cf_install.exe. Running that worked.

Problems installing CFMX 7

2005-02-21 Thread Kay Smoljak
Anyone having any problems installing the CFMX 7 trial?

I downloaded the trial (Windows) - but I can't install it. The
installer extracts all the files and then says "Please select another
location to install to". Then does the whole thing over again after
selecting another folder. This is on WinXP SP2 with 8 gig free space
(1 drive only), and yes the downloaded installer file is on the same
machine.

I even tried to install it into a Virtual PC image (also WinXP SP2)
but same message.

Neither of these machines have had any previous version of CFMX
installed and IF I were on the beta (not that I could disclose such a
thing), this would NOT have been the machine I would have tested on.

Any ideas?

Perhaps you should use a different model for your data. As you say, "free"
and "FREE" are values. I would recommend organizing your data in such a way
that you use them as values rather than as variable names.

I've gotten 2 doubles in the last month or two which may be due to the mail
server having a hickup. If it's just one or two, then I'd just chalk it up
to net issues. If it's every post, then it's a problem and you can always
contact me directly by email or ICQ (2995061). I'll probably have a cell

Yes, we have. Do you uswe the JRun JMC to start/stop cfusion? Don't!
 Sometimes you will end up with two cfusion servers running. Only use
the Services MMC panel. We have not seen this issue since.

Re: Case-sensitive Struct keys

2005-02-21 Thread Cedric Villat
Michael,

The reason for this is because I am implementing a Bayesian filter CFC. In
doing so, I create a hash-table of words and their probability of spam. The
probabilities the words "free" and "FREE" would be different. But when I stick
them in a structure, the values get overwritten. Vince's hashtable is really
what I'm after.

I guess either I can use the java hashtable as the solution, or do as Issac
suggested and hash() the key names myself.

Funny you should mention MySQL db connections...I just installed MySQL 4.1
on a server with CF 4.5.2 for the first time and can't get CF hooked up with
MySQL.
CF keeps erroring and saying:

ODBC Error Code = HYT00 ()
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver] Access Denied for User 'ODBC'@'localhost' (using
password NO)

I'm trying to figure out where the "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" is coming into play.
I'm not logging into the new MySQL Administrator that way, and I've given
the account I do use to login to MySQL all rights.

I noticed that when I entered registered the database with the ODBC
Administrator
in the Control Panel (Windows 2000 Server) that it said that ODBC was the
default user
in the options, but I used my own username...

The database shows up in CF Administrator under ODBC, but it won't
connect...
I've tried changing the account that CF is running under to the same
Username and Password
that I use to connect to MySQL and used the same Username and Password to
register the
database in the Administrator...I'm missing something...(perhaps the brains
to do this! :o)

Somewhere I've got things set up wrong...any ideas?

So...what you're saying is that I can go ahead and use the new
ODBC account for those sites that don't specify username and password
in the queries and if I want to use a username and password in future
programming,
to include the username and password in the queriesis that correct?

RE: OT: Live Chat Service

2005-02-21 Thread Rick Faircloth
So if I setup things for "non-access"?
I think that's the way I had MySQL setup previously,
but was concerned about all the talk around MySQL and "root" access,
so I decided to setup an account for access besides the defaults...
looks like I need to find my way back to the defaults.

Perhaps a delete and reinstall of MySQL and the ODBC Connector?

I certainly don't want to rewrite all the queries in my websites!

RE: Case-sensitive Struct keys

2005-02-21 Thread Vince Bonfanti
You can use Java HashMaps to create your own case-sensitive "struct". Try
this:

  a = #myStruct.get( "a" )#
  A = #myStruct.get( "A" )#

Here's the API reference for java.util.HashMap:

Tom,

Yes. enumeration type. I was able to work out that part.. by looking at
the WSDL output.. now only thing I need is a way to pass in required
attributes for an element. If somehow I can get that going.. it be
amazing. any tips on how that could be done.. or what should I be
looking.. for.. to build the struct.

Schema URL:
http://developer.ebay.com/DevZone/SOAP/docs/WSDL/xsd/1/element/VerifyAddItemRequest.htm

Working Request:

   // set the header
   addItemRequest = StructNew();
   addItemRequest.ErrorLanguage  = "en_US";
   addItemRequest.detailLevel = ArrayNew(1);
   addItemRequest.detailLevel[1] = "ReturnAll";
   addItemRequest.Version = "393";
   addItemRequest.item = StructNew();
   addItemRequest.item.quantity = "1";
   addItemRequest.item.Currency = "USD";
   addItemRequest.item.PrimaryCategory = StructNew();
   addItemRequest.item.PrimaryCategory.CategoryID = "20";

Is there an utility that can monitor the memory usage of a thread?

I have ColdFusion 5.0 running in windows 2000 and I have a script that
appears to have a memory leak. ColdFusion is running with 22 threads run
about 79 MB of memory usage for a few minutes, then it ColdFusion will spike
to over 1 GB and kill the ColdFusion service.

If I can find out what thread is sucking up that memory, then I can find the
templates causing the problems. Nothing showing up in the application logs.

Something like Perfmon, but monitoring the memory usage of a thread (group
of threads.)

If possible, use recursive SQL to do this; that way you only have one query,

CraftySyntax looks interesting...I'm a little wary of it, however.
I don't know anything about php...is that a problem with using it?

I see that phplivesupport is also php...do I have to understand php
to deploy and use it? I see that it can be modified, but do I need to?

I suspect the intention is to actually manage case-sensitive
user-input ... i.e. a user entered "a" and then entered "A" and
_expected_ them to be separate items.

You can change the default directory of any virtual server, of course.

Why would you want to do this? Keys/Variables with varying names only by
case is NOT a good idea regardless of language. Even though CF doesn't mind,
other languages do, especially Java! Build good habits now to avoid problems
down the road should you venture into other languages. Also, varying case
variables makes code cumbersome to read!

CFMX will preserve the case of the key if the key is created using
array notation, i.e.

  st = structnew();
  st["hOmE"] = "home";
  st.aBoUt = "about";
  writeoutput(structkeylist(st));

This is not the same as case-sensitivity although it can cause
problems in some cases if other code depends on the original behavior
of structure keys being stored (or returned) as upper-case values.

  st = structnew();
  st["hOmE"] = "home";
  st.home = "home";
  writeoutput(structkeylist(st));

I don't know if this will change the case of the key, but it won't
produce a 2nd key.

For sure...that's what I've done in the past and trying to setup this time.
It just takes some time to figure out the settings and procedures when
things are setup differently...

>In production, presumably, that client's content
will have its own virtual server

Yes, that's what I've done in the past...the idea of using a virtual
directory
was for an intermediate step between initial (for my eyes only) development
and deployment of the finished site to the public.

For the client to be able to access the site on the Internet, without using
host headers for a virtual site (server), the website would have to be setup
in a virtual directory under the default website so it could be accessed
by domain name of the default website, e.g.
http://www.DefaultWebsite.com/website/index.cfm,
or by IP, e.g. http://66.xx.xx.xxx/website/index.cfm, right?

That seems to be the only two ways I can get a site to show up without
using the host headers and for those ways to work, I had to setup a virtual
directory
for the site and wait to setup a virtual site when I was ready to use the
domain name
with Host Headers...

Am I understanding things or am I missing something?

You don't have to expose anything to anyone you don't want to, whether you
use virtual servers or not. I guess my whole point here is just to mention
that it's good to have your development environment mirror your production
one as much as possible. In production, presumably, that client's content
will have its own virtual server, and won't be a directory within a virtual
server.

Hash would work the same way for multi-character keys btw...

test[hash(keyname)] = value;

Of course that means you have to use hash to get the values back out
also.

CFMX Doubling up on requests

2005-02-21 Thread Chris Phillips
Hi all,

For months now (months I've been too busy to take care of this), CFMX
6.1 has been duplicating my scheduled tasks.

On last thursday, I just scheduled a bunch of new data imports.
I have a server scoped variable set up to lock access to this import.
Every day 10 minutes into the job, CF calls the job again. I know this
because the CF scheduler has a distinct useragent.

Has anyone else run into this strange behavior?
Any ideas, solutions?

Thanks in advance,

Re: MX & CHR(10)

2005-02-21 Thread Chris Velevitch
Look more closely at the output of CF 5 with a binary file viewing
tool. Check to see if for every chr(10) there's also a chr(13) before
or after the chr(10). Then do the same for the MX output. I'm guessing
CF 5 is automatically outputting a chr(13) with every chr(10) whereas
MX is not.

Re: Case-sensitive Struct keys

2005-02-21 Thread Lawrence B. Afrin, M.D.
Cedric --

As you said, CF structures don't support case-sensitive keynames. Alternatives
might include representing the structure
as a case-sensitive XML document object or, if your structure keynames will
never be anything other than the single
characters you showed in your example, you could use

test[asc(keyname)] = value;

Thus, test.a would become test[asc('a')] and test.A would become
test[asc('A')], clearly two different keys.

If the keynames might be longer than a single character, one could imagine many
other schemes that would hash, or map,
the keynames into unique values to be used as substitute keynames. For
example, each character in the keyname could be
replaced by its asc() code translated to a 4-digit hexadecimal string. (I
guess 4 hex digits are needed now (instead of
the 2 digits that would have sufficed in the pre-Unicode era) since the Java
UCS-2 character set used by CF gives values
for asc() up to 65535.) Another example would be to maintain the set of
keynames as a simple CF list and then use the
position of the keyname in the list as the substitute keyname in the structure.
 One would just have to be careful to
search the list with ListFind() instead of ListFindNoCase().

Doesn't this also depend on what version of CF you are using? Pretty
sure I got bit in the button this one either when going from CF4.5 to
CF5 or CF5 to CFMX, I believe it was the latter. I was doing
something like struct.q3 and then looking for that but it started
bombing out after the upgrade. I'd have to dig up the exact file to
be more specific though.

use edit_in_date in left side of the Where clause of the q-of-q. Wha-la!

You can have CF remember the case of your key names using array notation:

However, if I recall correctly, these keys aren't really case-sensitive, in
that test["A"] would overwrite an existing test["a"].

If you are currently using CFMX 6.1 then the switch to CFMX 7 should
be painless. In CFMX 7 the new cfdocument tag will give the choice of
PDF or Flashpaper output which does support images. (see
http://www.macromedia.com/examples/cfgettingstarted/experience/index_content.cfm
select quick tour and then pick HTML to PDF).

Case-sensitive Struct keys

2005-02-21 Thread Cedric Villat
So I guess CF doesn't support case-sensitive keys in a structure. For
example, given the following code:

test = StructNew();
test.a = 5;
test.A = 10;

I would have hoped that 2 keys would have been made, "a" and "A", but
instead only 1 key is made, and has a value of 10. Is there anyway to have
CF use case-sensitive keys so that I could do something like the above to
get 2 keys?

Thanks,
Cedric

It's not that difficult to go through an application, identify each link,
form tag or server-side redirection and fix them. Alternatively, you can
rewrite URLs on the server without requiring JavaScript. There are a couple
of server-side approaches you might take. My favorite, suggested to me by
Nathan Dintenfass I think, is to use CF's ability to rewrite HTML tags using
CF custom tags - for example, create a custom tag called a.cfm and use
CFIMPORT to invoke that whenever an anchor tag is used.

But honestly, it's just not that difficult to go through your application
code and add URLSessionFormat as appropriate.

If you're writing files on a Windows platform, you should use carriage
return and line feed, not just line feed. If you were able to just use line
feed before, but can't now, I would think that a bug had been fixed.

Re: Any sites using the new Flash foms?

2005-02-21 Thread Mike Kear
I'm coming into this thread late, and it may well have been covered
before (in which case just ignore the ravings of an antipodean
lunatic).  ...  but

Please dont take offence Mike, but the flash forms controls are pretty
bland and insipid. They look like they were designed by Starbucks.

I have yet to see a flash forms control that is anything but the
wishy-washy almost-grey-almost 3D controls that Macromedia supply.
The web is full of very creative and colourful designs, and it's
essential that anything that aspires to compete on the web is able to
fit in with those designs.

How is flex (and for that matter other flash controls) able to be
altered in appearance without having to build an entire new set of
controls?

I can't emphasise enough how utterly wrong it is to avoid using the
cfid and cftoken cookies.

That being said, if you require javascript you should be able to use
something like this after the closing body tag and get away with it.
There are ways to make this valid xhtml, involving the window.onload
event, but I won't get into that:

function addToken(str) {
if (str.toLowerCase().indexOf("?")<0) { str += "?"; }
str += "#session.urltoken#";
}

for (x = 0; x < document.links.length; x = x + 1) {
link = document.links[x];
link.href = addToken(link.href);
}

for (x = 0; x < document.forms.length; x = x + 1) {
form = document.forms[x];
form.action = addToken(form.action);
}

This probably doesn't make sense (requiring javascript) if you're
avoiding the cfid and cftoken cookies, but this is the only way to
accomplish this that ultimately won't make you want to tear all your
leg, arm, chest, back, head and eyebrow hair out.

Do you mean the same skinning that Flex supports? The custom skin swf.

For CF7 all we support is the style sheet attributes for the form and the
individual elements. This does give you a lot of control of the UI, allowing
you to change most of the form.

If you want more, then what the style sheets support, make sure you submit
an enhancement request (or two) with details about what additional styles or
skin support you need.

AW: How u convert this cfquery to TSQL for MS SQL stored procedure

2005-02-21 Thread Gert Franz
You could use the execsql statement for SQL Server. You just have to set
up a string containing the SQL and then execute it in a Stored
procedure...

But you will loose the benefit of a sql server stored procedure of
precompiled statements, because the sql query parser does not know the
sql-statement yet.

Betreff: How u convert this cfquery to TSQL for MS SQL stored procedure

Does anyone know how to convert this cfquery to TSQL so it can be
executed through a stored procedure instead in MS SQL 2000? The first
condition just sees if a var exists and makes sure its not null, the
second one does the same thing but feeds the query a list:

select *
from profiles
where 0=0
and
firstname='#form.firstname#'

and zipcode in ()

I'm having a tuff time creating the condition in the WHERE part to check
if the variable form.firstname exists first, and then to make sure its
not null.

I'm trying to build a search form and then have the search criteria
queried in a MS SQL Server stored procedure directly for the sake of
speed.

I appreciate any help. Thanks.

You can't use PL/SQL commands within query of queries. You can only use the
generic SQL operators and keywords listed within the CF documentation. CF
includes its own (very limited) SQL interpreter for query of queries; it
doesn't use your database server's query analyzer for that.

Blah monday to everyone...

Do any of you have experience with a live chat service and can recommend one?
Paid is fine, figuring free doesn't exist. I know of Live Person, but looking
for others as well and experiences. Hopefully this question helps several folks
out there.

Thanks.

Why would you go to the trouble of putting your work within the CFDOCS
directory?

You can change the default directory of any virtual server, of course.

You don't have to expose anything to anyone you don't want to, whether you
use virtual servers or not. I guess my whole point here is just to mention
that it's good to have your development environment mirror your production
one as much as possible. In production, presumably, that client's content
will have its own virtual server, and won't be a directory within a virtual
server.

2005-02-21 Thread Rick Faircloth
>Why not just create the virtual server before you do any development?

The reason I don't go to a virtual server ("site" in IIS) at first is to
avoid
having to use Host Headers and expose the site to the public via the domain
name
before it's complete. Usually, I would just tell a client to go
http://66.xx.xx.79/cfdocs/yoursite/index.cfm to view their site.

Looks like that'll just change to telling to go to
http://www.DefaultWebsite.com/yoursite/index.cfm, which will work the same,
promote my website (when I finally build it!) and be easier for the client
to remember.

Does this sound like it will work well?

Why not just create the virtual server before you do any development? That's
no more difficult than creating a virtual directory, really. If you want
others to view the virtual server, you can either bind it to a separate IP
socket (either using a different IP address or port) or use Host headers to
get to the virtual server. If you use Host headers, you'll need to be able
to create DNS records as needed, or have people add the appropriate
information to their hosts file.

RE: How to set virtual sites for localhost viewing?

2005-02-21 Thread Rick Faircloth
I guess when I had all the root folders for the websites under
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\cfdocs\website\index.cfm
they were automatically under the localhost, which is C:\Inetpub\wwwroot...

I would view them like http://localhost/cfdocs/website/index.cfm.

Now that the sites are on another drive, and not under C:\Inetpub\wwwroot,
they're not in the localhost path.

I'll just create virtual directories when I'm ready for a client to view via
the Internet,
but not through their domain, as in http://DefaultWebsite/Website/index.cfm,
then, when it's completed, I'll put it in as a new website and use the host
headers
to direct traffic.

When I mentioned "viewing them locally using localhost", I was referring to
the time when I was developing sites on my development box, not the server.
However, that practice may change, too, as I try to mirror my development
folder structure
with my server structure and practices...

The physical location of the files is unrelated to the use of separate
virtual servers using Host headers. I'm not sure what you mean by "viewing
them locally using localhost", since that implies that you're typing
something like "http://localhost/somethingorother/"; in which case you're not
using Host headers unless you've defined your virtual web server to look for
"localhost" specifically within the Host header.

Pardeepthe query is already in T-SQLI think what you are asking is
how to handle dynamic variables in T-SQL (currently this is done via CF).

That said...my conditional logic in TSQL is shall we say...not up to snuff

Hi Ed,

Thanks for the feedback. I can do this easily in Cold Fusion, what I'm
trying to do is offload the work to MS SQL 2000 via TSQL in a stored
procedure. The search form has a lot of entry fields, we're doing a zipcode
radius search too, so it just makes more sense to have the DB do the work
rather than CF for speed.

So the goal here is to have MS SQL 2000 do the work instead of CF.

And my problem... ahem... challenge... is converting this logic into TSQL :(

CFMX doesn't store much information within the Windows registry. I'm
guessing it stores Verity information within neo-verity.xml. If you want to
programmatically create a collection only if it doesn't already exist, you
could just use CFCOLLECTION within CFTRY/CFCATCH.

Subject: How u convert this cfquery to TSQL for MS SQL stored procedure

Does anyone know how to convert this cfquery to TSQL so it can be executed
through a stored procedure instead in MS SQL 2000? The first condition just
sees if a var exists and makes sure its not null, the second one does the same
thing but feeds the query a list:

select *
from profiles
where 0=0
and
firstname='#form.firstname#'

and zipcode in ()

I'm having a tuff time creating the condition in the WHERE part to check if the
variable form.firstname exists first, and then to make sure its not null.

I'm trying to build a search form and then have the search criteria queried in
a MS SQL Server stored procedure directly for the sake of speed.

I appreciate any help. Thanks.

RE: How to set virtual sites for localhost viewing?

2005-02-21 Thread Rick Faircloth
Well...I think I've found a reasonable way to proceed...

Site Under Development:

- Create Virtual Directory under Default Website
  That way, I can view the site using
http://localhost/website/index.cfm,
  also, a client who wants to view their site while it's being developed
can
  can go to http://www.DefaultWebSite.com/website/index.cfm for review.

Completed Site:

- Create New Site and re-direct via host headers: Access via
http://www.website.com

Any suggestions concerning this approach? I'm setting up a new server, so
I'm trying to make
sure I start down the right path and don't have to backtrack halfway through
the setup of all the sites...

Thanks,

Rick

If you have a virtual website called Virtual_Trial, that website is
configured to accept requests coming to one or more IP addresses, and may be
configured to require a Host header. If you want to have multiple virtual
websites on a single machine, listening on a single IP address, you will
need to configure them to use different Host headers. For example, I might
have two virtual servers on my machine like so:

IP address: 127.0.0.1
Host header: www.foo.com
Web root directory: d:\websites\www.foo.com

IP address: 127.0.0.1
Host header: www.bar.com
Web root directory: d:\websites\www.bar.com

Because these Host headers don't correspond to real DNS entries anywhere,
I'd have to modify my hosts file to associate 127.0.0.1 with both hostnames.
I wouldn't be able to use "localhost" or 127.0.0.1 to access either site
directly in that case.

Welcome to the group Marina...

Just a quick note that there is another HoF list called "CF-Jobs_Talk"
which is where this kind of question should be directed.

That said, it is fairly common to be asked the standard "how long have you

If you have a virtual website called Virtual_Trial, that website is
configured to accept requests coming to one or more IP addresses, and may be
configured to require a Host header. If you want to have multiple virtual

Because these Host headers don't correspond to real DNS entries anywhere,
I'd have to modify my hosts file to associate 127.0.0.1 with both hostnames.
I wouldn't be able to use "localhost" or 127.0.0.1 to access either site

Subject: Recursive Function Question

I am working on an admin module for a (fairly) simple site and wanted
to try the "Less Is Better" approach with my code. I'm building an
interface to maintain a category tree for a FAQ posts where I'm
storing a one-to-many parent/child relationship.

Here's my database table with some data
ID  Label  Parent
--- -- ---
1   Accounting Home0
2   Accounting Business0
3   Income Tax Personal0
4   Income Tax Business0
5   Forms & Schedules - Personal   3
6   Forms & Schedules - Business   4
7   1040   5
8   1040EZ 5
9   1040A  5
10  1099   5
11  1098   5
12  1040   6
13  1099   6

I need the final output to be something like this:
- Accounting Home
- Accounting Business
- Income Tax Personal
-- Forms & Schedules - Personal
--- 1040
--- 1040EZ
--- 1040A
--- 1099
- Income Tax Business
-- Forms & Schedules - Business
--- 1040
--- 1099

The results I'm getting right now are a little less helpful:
- Accounting Home
- Accounting Business
- Income Tax Personal
-- Forms & Schedules - Personal
--- 1040
--- 1040EZ
--- 1040A
--- 1099
--- 1098
- 1040

Here's the code I used to create this output. I was trying to use
some recursion but now I'm wondering if that's the right thing to do.

RE: How to set virtual sites for localhost viewing?

2005-02-21 Thread Rick Faircloth
I've been using host headers for several years, and serving the
sites fine...even viewing them locally using localhost, but now I'm trying
to set up the site directories on a separate drive, rather than on the
system
drive and that's where the problem comes in.

Perhaps I should take out the host headers until the site goes live?

Verity change

2005-02-21 Thread James Watkins
When I changed from CF 5.5 to CF MX 6.1 my Verity Search scripts broke.
Below is the piece I am having problems with. What is best way to fix
this? If I must start all over is there a template I could follow to
get this setup?

Recursive Function Question

2005-02-21 Thread C. Hatton Humphrey
I am working on an admin module for a (fairly) simple site and wanted
to try the "Less Is Better" approach with my code. I'm building an
interface to maintain a category tree for a FAQ posts where I'm
storing a one-to-many parent/child relationship.

Here's my database table with some data
ID  Label  Parent
--- -- ---
1   Accounting Home0
2   Accounting Business0
3   Income Tax Personal0
4   Income Tax Business0
5   Forms & Schedules - Personal   3
6   Forms & Schedules - Business   4
7   1040   5
8   1040EZ 5
9   1040A  5
10  1099   5
11  1098   5
12  1040   6
13  1099   6

I need the final output to be something like this:
- Accounting Home
- Accounting Business
- Income Tax Personal
-- Forms & Schedules - Personal
--- 1040
--- 1040EZ
--- 1040A
--- 1099
- Income Tax Business
-- Forms & Schedules - Business
--- 1040
--- 1099

The results I'm getting right now are a little less helpful:
- Accounting Home
- Accounting Business
- Income Tax Personal
-- Forms & Schedules - Personal
--- 1040
--- 1040EZ
--- 1040A
--- 1099
--- 1098
- 1040

Here's the code I used to create this output. I was trying to use
some recursion but now I'm wondering if that's the right thing to do.

Monitor memory usage of CF Threads

2005-02-21 Thread Jacob

Thanks
Jacob

RE: How to set virtual sites for localhost viewing?

2005-02-21 Thread Rick Faircloth
As far as I know...(reassuring, huh?)

I've always been able to view sites using localhost
as long as the root folder was under cfdocs...e.g.,
http://localhost/cfdocs/virtual_trial/index.cfm,
but taking them out to another drive won't allow that
to work...

Yeah, it'd be easy to miss. For whatever reason, MM doesn't ever seem
to have much to say about RegEx. Also, their documentation on it is a
bit thin. And yes, regex isn't the fastest thing in the world, but
sometimes the trade between coding time and processor cycles is worth
it.  :-)

I would recommend that you use the URLSessionFormat function instead of the
above. You will need to ensure that the token is passed on each page
request, whether that request is triggered by a hyperlink, a form
submission, a CFLOCATION or other server-side redirection, or a JavaScript
or other client-side redirection.
