I've said this before; all they had to do was clone McVeigh, execute the

All this cloning news is once again the public being informed of technology
that is 30-50 years old. You know the elite used it to their benefit first;
just look around, lots of them have been cloned many times. The
deterioration due to multiple uploads and downloads of their mind looks to
us like the aging of the brain. Little do we know.

 Two years ago, I was told by a friend of mine that is an

 that Tim McVeigh would wave all of his appeals and want to be

Question: Is the U.S. bombing campaign directed against terrorists or the
people of Afghanistan?

Answer: This is a war against the people of Afghanistan. The U.S. and British
are dropping thousands of bombs and firing missiles on homes, schools,
mosques, hospitals and villages throughout the country.

One-thousand-pound to 15,000-pound bombs are deliberately targeting every
major town and rural area. AC-130 Specter gunships filled with ammunition are
firing huge Gatling guns on the population in a steady stream of bullets. On
Oct. 22, in the village of Chowkar-Karez, dozens of civilians were killed.
CNN quoted an unnamed Pentagon official as saying, The people there are
dead because we wanted them dead. (Toronto Globe and Mail, Nov. 3, 2001)

Wazir Akbarhan hospital in Kabul was bombed on the first day and 13 women
were killed in the gynecology department. 200 people were killed in the
hospital in Herat. Red Cross facilities were bombed twice in Kabul on Oct. 16.

Cluster bombs â one of the most terrifying and deadly of the U.S. weapons â
are now being used as bombing intensifies. Hundreds of small bomblets packed
with razor shrapnel are dispersed at super-high velocity over a wide area,
ripping into people with devastating damage. Cluster bombs are prohibited by
the Geneva Convention, because of their indiscriminate nature (Protocol 1,
Relating to the Protection of Victims of International Armed Conflicts,
Article 51). A report from the Sydney Morning Herald (Oct. 26, 2001) quotes
Dan Kelly, head of UN mine clearing in Afghanistan: These bomblets can
explode if the villagers so much as touch them. It is a very violent death.
You don't get arms and legs blown off like you do with anti-personnel mines,
you get killed. Civilians are being deliberately targeted throughout the
country. Another deplorable U.S. tactic is repeat bombing to kill rescue
personnel. In Jalalabad, the Sultanpur mosque was bombed during prayer. As
neighbors dug out 17 victims who were trapped, the plane returned to bomb
minutes later, killing 120 people (Where the Bodies Are, Oct. 23, 2001,
Geov Parrish, workingforchange.com)

Cluster bombs, depleted uranium ammunition, 15,000-pound Daisy cutter
fuel-air explosives: this is the terror being unleashed by the biggest
military power in the world against one of the poorest and most
underdeveloped countries in existence. It's not just the bombs are killing
people. The dislocation and chaos of the war itself means huge numbers of
Afghan people will die from hunger, cold and disease. According to UNICEF
officials, more than 100,000 Afghan children will likely die from war-related
causes by the end of winter.

Question: What is the current state of the Afghan people?

Answer: The average life expectancy in Afghanistan is 43 years. Per capita
income is $180 per year. Only 13 percent of the entire population has access
to drinking water. Barely 12% of the population has sanitation coverage.
Literacy is only 20 percent. The infant-mortality rate is a shocking 247
deaths per 1,000 live births. On average, 16,000 mothers die in childbirth
every year, one out of every 17 births, the second worst maternal mortality
rate in the world.

It's not just the bombs that are killing people. The dislocation and chaos of
the war itself means huge numbers of Afghan people will die from hunger, cold
and disease. According to UNICEF officials, more than 100,000 Afghan children
will likely die from war-related causes by the end of winter.

Question: Isn't the war in Afghanistan a defensive reaction to the Sept. 11
attacks?

Answer: After Sept. 11, the U.S. immediately targeted all of Afghanistan and
added to its enemies list any country or organization that didn't fully
support the U.S. government on terrorism. Afghanistan agreed to negotiate but
asked for proof of the culpability of Osama bin Laden in the September 11
attack. The Bush administration responded that they wouldn't negotiate and
they refused to provide the evidence. Was it really because the U.S. wanted
to combat terrorism? Or is it because the U.S. made a calculated decision to
use the terrible Sept. 11 attack as justification for a Pentagon move to
expand its domination in the Middle East and South/Central Asia?

One only needs to look at the U.S. policy toward Iraq for a clue. The real
motive for the 1991 U.S. war on Iraq and continued sanctions against the
Iraqi people is to gain full control of the Persian/Arabian Gulf oil.
Two-thirds of the world's known oil reserves lie in that region. The U.S.
Gulf War allowed the Pentagon to establish numerous military bases in Saudi

Bush's New Rules to Fight Terror Transform the Legal Landscape By

NY Timess November 25, 2001 Pentagon officials begin designing
military tribunals for suspected terrorists, they are considering
the possibility of trials on ships at sea or on United States
installations, like the naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The
proceedings promise to be swift and largely secret, with one military
officer saying that the release of information might be limited to
the barest facts, like the defendant's name and sentence. Transcripts
of the proceedings, this officer said, could be kept from public
view for years, perhaps decades.

The military tribunals are the boldest initiative in a series of
laws and rewritten federal regulations that, taken together, have
created an alternate system of justice in the aftermath of Sept.
11, giving the government far greater power to detain, investigate
and prosecute people suspected of involvement in terrorism.

Those changes, described by legal experts and government and law
enforcement officials, are likely to affect mostly residents of
the country who are not citizens but who, until now, have had many
of the constitutional rights and protections of citizens.

The Bush administration says its agenda commands strong public
support, a view bolstered by recent polls. Even most critics
acknowledge the need for enhanced security measures, but the
administration's new approach has stirred unease both inside and
outside government, as well as overseas.

Some senior law enforcement officials believe that the military
tribunals are unnecessary and that the government's record in
prosecuting terrorists in federal court over the last decade
justifies continuing that approach.

Spanish officials told the United States last week that they would
not extradite eight men suspected of involvement in the Sept. 11
attacks without assurances that their cases would be kept in civilian
court.

Although it remains unclear how widely these new powers will
ultimately be applied, the provisions alter some basic principles
of the American judicial system - like the right to a jury trial,
the privacy of the attorney-client relationship and strong protections
against the use of preventive detention.

The steps taken by the administration reflect outrage that the
Sept. 11 terrorists were foreigners who lived freely and undetected
in the United States, even though some had violated their visas,
and the fear that potential terrorists or people with information
about terrorist acts are among the millions of immigrants in the
country.

We're an open society, we give people access to the American
dream, said Dan Bartlett, the White House communications director.
With that privilege there is a responsibility. That responsibility
has not always been lived up to, and it's not always been asked
that they live up to it, either.

President Bush's authorization of secret military tribunals for
noncitizens accused of terrorism and the systematic interviewing
of 5,000 young Middle Eastern men in the country on temporary visas
is well known.

But broad new powers are also contained in more obscure provisions.

A recent rule change published without announcement in the Federal
Register gives the government wide latitude to keep noncitizens in
detention even when an immigration judge has ordered them freed.

And under new laws, the attorney general can detain for deportation
any noncitizen who he has reasonable grounds to believe is engaged
in any activity that endangers the national security of the United
States,

according to a recent internal Immigration and Naturalization
Service memorandum.

Critics have said that the administration's measures often mean
singling out people on the basis of nationality or ethnicity.

We have decided to trade off the liberty of immigrants - particularly
Arabs and Muslims - for the purported security of the majority,
said David Cole, a law professor at Georgetown University who often
represents detained foreigners.

In the guidelines for carrying out the 5,000 interviews with young
Middle Eastern men, Attorney General John Ashcroft wrote to federal
prosecutors that the selection of the men was not meant to imply
that one ethnic group or religious group is more prone to terrorism
than another. Yet local law enforcement officials in several cities
have balked at carrying out the interviews because of the impression
of profiling.

Secrecy is a hallmark of the wartime judicial system, just as the
free flow of information is a signature of the nation's normal
criminal procedures.

Jim Squatter

Jim Squatter is an anarchist. He's not a typical
anarchist, but then, which of us is? Though not a
pacifist, Jim is an avid, ardent peace monger.
Mongering peace takes up much of Jim's life as, he
would say, it should yours. He would say, too, for
he's never one to bite his tongue about something
important. On the contrary, Jim is a loudmouth. It
makes him a thorn in the side of the state.

I met Jim in the early eighties. He occupied abandoned
buildings in San Francisco for a living then, which is
how he copped the moniker. He wasn't alone in there.
There was a regular tribe of them. Jim spent most of
his time organizing the others. For American.
squatters they had remarkable success, at least for a
while. Alas, this isn't Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Lima or
Berlin. Squatting at all in San Francisco is no piece
of cake. Organized squatting, out in the open, and in
the cop's face, is a feat to be proud of. It earned
him his reputation, some jail time, and not a few
bruises.

Jim is a pretty good organizer. I'm not sure where he
learned how to do it, It probably wasn't in what he
calls the Air Farce and for sure it was not in the
nut house. Maybe he figured it out on his own. Maybe
he's just a natural. He reads a lot, which must be of
some help. Mostly, he just listens when other people
talk. Jim really cares what you have to say. That's a
whole lot of the organizing process, right there. In a
meeting, he can be fairly charismatic. Out of a
meeting, he's mostly just a guy from the block. That
is, unless he's just thought of something you could be
doing right now for The Cause. Then he turns on the
charm. Jim can be quite charming, when he wants to be.
It's very persuasive.

Jim is also totally fearless. I lost track of how many
times he's been arrested. Twice the SFPD took him out
to Golden Gate Park, beat the living bejeezus out of
him and left him there bleeding. The Santa Crux cops
left him in a paddy wagon out in the sun for a couple
of hours once with no water and a face full of mace
(on the six o'clock news, no less). Jim doesn't quit.
He once went after five skin heads, alone, up on
Haight St. Lucky for them, they had a head start. He
can cover my back any day of the week, a task I don't
trust most folks to be able to handle. Money and
secrets are safe in his hands. He's on a very short
list, indeed. Indeed, I wish it was longer.

Judi Bari driving to Jim's house when the terrorist's
nail bomb went off under the front seat, maiming her
for life, but not intimidating her in the least. She
had just left David Kimnitzer's house, where she had
spent the night.

Two days earlier, after eighteen years with David,
Stephanie Massey left him, and moved in with Jim.
She's ten years Jim's senior, has been around more,
and is much better educated. As near as I can tell,
she's the best thing that ever happened to him. Aside
from the education, which never hurts anyone,
Stephanie is also just naturally smarter than hell.
She knows what she's doing, or else she don't try.
She, too, is totally fearless, a feat in itself for
some one that short. She too, has a pretty loud mouth.


Stephanie bought a house near downtown Oakland in a
thoroughly mixed area. The previous owners had been
driven out by the crack heads next door. Jim and Step
still hadn't unpacked all their stuff when I came by
and taped this interview. The crack heads were already
making plans to move out. This was not of Jim and
Stuffs doing. The crack heads had cooked in their own
soup. The whole fed up neighborhood had organized
against them before Jim and Step ever showed up. It
can be done. You don't need the help of experienced
organizers to organize. You can do it yourself. Do it
today. That's what Jim would say. It is the truth.

I copped a number on the corner. Jim and I blew about
half. It tasted to me like Humboldt's finest. Jim
thought it was from Mendocino. Half was clearly
enough. We closed the front window, so as to be not
overheard from the street. It's an old local custom.

I flipped on the tape.

Nessie: OK, so lets brainstorm this thing a while. Why
was Judi at Seeds of Peace house the night before the
bomb went off?

Squatter: We had a meeting that, uh, we decided there
was this series of meetings about one a month I think,
maybe even one every two weeks, where we were going up
the coast (I think the first one was in Arcata) then
we went to . . . the next one was down in Laytonville.
At one of these meetings we decided the next meeting
was gonna be down in the Bay Area at Seeds house and
it'll be pretty much the final, major meeting before
the beginning of the whole she bang.

Nessie: Redwood Summer?

Squatter: Right. We had lots of business, and we
y'know . . . this meeting . . . It was publicly known.
It wasn't advertised, but anybody that wanted to know
could know, pretty much. You come to a meeting and

DAVID

Five or ten minutes before the bomb went off, Judi
left David Kemnitzer's house, where she had spent the
night, and headed for Jim Squatter's place, where the
night before, she had attended a meeting that had been
hosted by Jim's affinity group, the Seeds of Peace
Collective. Two nights before, Stephanie Massey,
David's partner of eighteen years, had left him for
Jim. It was one of those weeks. A couple years later,
David and I sat down to talk about it in depth.

David has been around for a while. He was a Port Huron
era SDSer. These days, he's a database programmer.
Before that he was a private investigator. Before that
he was managing editor at Ramparts Press. He trained
as an anthropologist, but there's not a lot call for
anthropologists. Judi Bari thinks he's a cop. I don't
think he's a cop. Jim Squatter doesn't think he's a
cop. Neither does Stephanie.

David is built like a bear. He has a very nice den and
seventeen roommates. We sat in the immense
kitchen/dining-room complex, talking. Roommates
wandered in and out, living their lives. Some
displayed interest in our conversation. Others ignored
us. Sometimes the clatter of dishes drowned out a word
or two.

We were passing a joint and telling Stephanie stories
when I remembered to turn on the tape recorder.

David: At one point we were walking down this street
in a high crime section of Oakland and we passed this
biker's bar and out in front is this big pickup truck
with a bumper sticker that said, Stop rape. Say yes.


Stephanie walks into the bar . . .

Roommate: Oh, good . . .

Nessie: I can see that. I can see that real easy.

David: . . . and says, Who's the asshole with the big
blue truck out there!?!

And I'm looking around. How many people am I gonna
have to kill?

Nessie: Yeah, right.

David: (laughs loud, for a long time) . . . . and she
was in this guy's face for ten minutes, man.

Nessie: Well, you know, there's this thing about being
short . . .

Linda: Hey! She did right!

Nessie: I didn't say she didn't. I'm saying she has an
attitude. When you're short . . .

David: I was just counting how many I was gonna have
to kill, Linda, I was not leaving.

Roommate: I'm not saying that, I . . .

David: I've always admired her fearlessness.

Nessie: She's short and she knows it. She knows that
even if somebody tries to slug her, they're gonna
hesitate for an instant while they hear their mommy's
voice back up in their head somewhere say, Go pick on
somebody your own size, And while they hesitate,
she's got 'em. It's like wearing glasses. That half a
second counts.

David: Never happen.

Nessie: Hey, I wouldn't mess with her.

David: Short really has nothing to do with it, really.


Nessie: I expect she'll explain that to me in great
detail.

David: I'm sure. We all have some understanding of it.
Lisa once had to write a character sketch of one of
her parents for one of her courses and she did it
about her mother. The title of it is, The Eleven Foot
Tall Woman.

Nessie: (laughs a long time) I can see that.

David: Trust me. Short has nothing to do with it.
(laughs) Short has something to do with Jim.

Nessie: Jim's not so short.

David: Jim's pretty small. Jim's not much bigger than
Stephanie.

Nessie: I never noticed. He seems bigger. It must be
his persona.

David: In one of those first base camps up there in
Redwood Summer, some guy came in brandishing a knife.
So Jim starts facing the guy off . . . and talking him
down. Stephanie picks up a big rock and inches around
behind him. And Jim is utterly surprised at this and
latter he mentioned something about this and I said,
like, hey, what do you want.

Nessie: Jim gets that way sometimes himself. He went
after a half a dozen skinheads by himself up on Haight
St. once. Chased them up the street. They were running
hard, too. Pretty soon he had 'em cornered in this
pizza place. And in the back of this pizza place was
this large Jewish biker, named Marco (well really it's
Marty), and he did not like these guys. They used to
goose step in front of the place, and it's his place
(he owns it), and Jews don't like that kinda shit,
y'know. He happened to be in the back of the place
when Jim came in the front so they were sorta
sandwiched in between them . . . Marco . . . Marco's
Pizza, where Cybele's is now. It was over before I
caught up. I can't run like I used to.

David: I used to be like that. I used to go down to
the Marine Corps and servicemen's bar and pick fights.


Nessie: I got over that when I was young.

David: (sheepishly) I was about nineteen when I . . .

Nessie: (not very convincingly) Yeah, I was about, uh,
er, something like that, uh, (mumble, mumble) . . .

David: It's a dick thing.

Nessie: Nah; it's an American thing. That's what we do
here.

David: It's an American dick thing.

Nessie: Yeah, if we was Afghanis we'd shoot each
other, right?

It was said of Jerry Ford that if he met a homeless person in front of the White House, he would give the guy a couple of bucks. It also was said that if he were asked to approve a program to aid the homeless, he would veto it. These things were said because Ford has a generous manner but a conventional conservative ideology. In George W. Bush, as with Ford, the former masks the latter.
In Bush's case, the buoyant demeanor of the locker room towel-snapper has long obscured an indifference to civil liberties. The proof of that is the adamant position he repeatedly took on the one civil liberties issue that dogged him as governor of Texas: the death penalty. He just didn't give a damn.
Now, I grant you that in the conventional sense, capital punishment is not seen as a civil liberties issue. The Constitution permits it -- as it once did slavery. Yet nothing could be more heinous than the killing of an innocent person by the state -- or, in my view, a guilty person who was insane or immature at the time the crime was committed. The international terror network, including 
al-Qaeda, was created by Communists and their left-wing allies under the guise 
of "Islamic fundamentalism." 

Like the 38 other unsuspecting passengers and crew 
members who boarded United Airlines Flight 93 in Newark on September 11th, 
Jeremy Glick had no way of foreseeing the intense and deadly drama that was 
about to unfold. After suicide-hijackers commandeered the San Francisco-bound 
Boeing 757, passengers aboard the doomed jetliner planned a desperate 
counterattack and placed calls to their loved ones. Among those who phoned home 
was Jeremy Glick, one of the citizen heroes of Flight 93 who are believed to 
have taken on the terrorists, causing the fuel-laden jet to crash into a rural 
Pennsylvania field, instead of Washington, D.C., or some other populated target. 


Glick, 31, and the father of a three-month-old 
daughter, told his wife, Lyzbeth, that he and others planned to rush the 
hijackers, who had by that time already stabbed one passenger to death. Mrs. 
Glick said that Jeremy told her that the knife-wielding hijackers, who claimed 
to have a bomb, were "three Arab-looking men with red headbands." 

Red headbands? Those are the trademark of the 
Islamic Jihad terrorists, who are backed by Iran and Russia. Like many of the 
so-called "Muslim extremist" groups, they are more "red" (Marxist-Leninist) than 
"green" (Islamic fundamentalist). The red headbands are but one of many clues 
screaming out to warn us that the Black Tuesday terror attack was not merely the 
work of twisted religious zealots, but of state sponsors using terrorist groups 
as proxy instruments of war to advance the ongoing world Communist revolution. 


Incredibly, it is some of those very same state 
sponsors who are being heralded as our newfound "allies": Russia, China, Iran, 
and Syria. Whats more, the same policy elites who have partnered us with these 
terror regimes in the name of fighting terrorism are pushing a similar course of 
reconciliation toward other unrepentant terror states such as Libya, Sudan, 
Cuba, and North Korea. 

Connections Coming to Light 

Many connections have already surfaced tying the 
deadliest terror attack in history to Saddam Hussein, one of Moscows chief 
clients and longstanding surrogates in the Middle East. On October 26th 
government officials of the Czech Republic confirmed that Mohamed Atta, a 
central figure in the suicide attack on the World Trade Center, had met at least 
once in Prague with Iraqi intelligence officer Ahmad Khalil Ibrahim Samir 
Al-Ani. Mohamed Atta, an Egyptian "student" in Germany, is believed to have been 
one of the terrorist cell leaders aboard American Airlines Flight 11, one of the 
planes that was hijacked and flown into the World Trade Center. 

The Atta-Iraq-Czech connection is especially 
noteworthy on at least two levels. First, in providing evidence of likely Iraqi 
involvement in the crime, it also necessarily implicates Russia. Saddam Hussein 
is dependent upon Russia for military hardware and expertise and would not 
undertake a move so radical as perpetrating the Black Tuesday assault without 
Moscows blessing. As Christopher Story, editor and publisher of the 
authoritative Soviet Analyst, has noted, it should be recalled that Husseins 
1990 invasion of Kuwait was carried out "under the direction and guidance of a 
huge contingent of Soviet advisers headed by General Makashev." However, Story 
continued, the Soviets then astonished observers "by suddenly reversing 
themselves and appearing to condone the American-led Gulf War response, and 
standing on the sidelines." "They are doing exactly the same today," Story 
observed, in the wake of September 11th, "falling all over themselves to express 
unqualified abhorrence of terrorism in all its forms, notwithstanding that it is 
the Kremlin which  has masterminded the scourge of global terrorism." 


Russias support for the terrorism scourge has 
increased since Black Tuesday. On September 30th Kyodo News of Japan reported: 
"Iraq and Russia have signed a package deal covering more than 70 projects to be 
implemented by Russian firms at a cost of about $40 billion, the official Iraqi 
News Agency (INA) reported Sunday." Those projects, no doubt, will include 
continued Russian assistance for Saddams CBN (Chemical, Biological, Nuclear) 
weapons programs and missile delivery systems. 

On another level, Mohamed Attas Prague rendezvous 
points to the continuation of the longstanding Soviet-Czech terror apparatus. 
During the 1960s, Prague became a major center of terrorist training, supply, 
and coordination, under direction of Czech intelligence, which was completely 
subservient to the Soviet KGB. Soviet Analyst has noted that Prague is "the 
headquarters of Soviet Military Intelligence (GRU) in Central Europe," and that 
the Czech Interior Ministry and the intelligence

continues to push boundaries and win new adherents.

THE EARTHSHIP
In mid-September Hurricane Marilyn roared through the
Caribbean, destroying a quarter of the homes on St.
Thomas, one of the U.S. Virgin islands. Full
restoration of power took several months. Three
thousand miles away, in Taos, New Mexico, Mike
Reynolds, owner of Solar Survival Architecture, read
the news and saw a demand for Earthships.

An Earthship is a home design--utilizing recycled
tires, aluminum cans and earth for construction
materials--that Reynolds and his company have been
building and perfecting for the last 25 years. It is
self-sufficient, getting power from the sun, water
from rain, and recycling its gray water and sewage.
The Earthship would be perfect for a storm-beleaguered
Caribbean Island, Reynolds figures. These buildings
are so heavy, and built into the Earth, that they
couldn't blow away.

If Solar Survival could build one on the island as a
demonstration project, people could start to construct
Earthships on their own. But Reynolds realizes that
the company doesn't have enough time and resources
currently to take on the project. That's life in a
small firm with a revolutionary product in growing
demand. The problem is that we can't be everywhere,
he says. But everywhere we look, it seems that what
we are doing is what is needed.

COMMUNITY PROGRESS
Four years ago, Solar Survival was just starting a
demonstration community of Earthships called Reach.
Reach, which stands for Rural Earthship Alternative
Community Habitat, now has 15 homes on 55 acres.
Reach, located 15 miles northeast of Taos, was
followed by two other developments that are under
construction in the vicinity. One is called Star
(Social Transformation Alternative Republic), located
16 miles west of Taos, about seven miles from a main
road. Star has 20 homes built or under construction.
The latest development, Greater World (no acronym) is
situated nine miles west of town, on Route 64, with 15
homes built or under construction. Both developments
have more than 600 acres, and are long-term projects.
It is common for an Earthship to be built over a two
or three year period, because the owners often use
cash on hand and participate in construction Maximum
build out for each development is about 100 homes,
with hundreds of acres of open space preserved.

Reynolds purchases all of the land in these
membership communities, selling off the right to
build. The residents own their home and the immediate
land on which the building is situated. They have a
right to sell the home, but not the surrounding land.
That belongs to Reynolds, and later, the community
will own it. Solar Survival lays down the only major
public infrastructure--dirt roads. I run the
community for five to seven years to get it
established, and then roll it over to the residents,
he says. Then, the community will be managed like a
condominium association.

Solar Survival has built two rental Earthships at
Greater World and one has been reserved for rental use
at Reach. These are available to people building
homes--or those who would like to find out what it is
like to live in one before making the commitment. The
company is planning more. They are booked up--we
don't have enough of the rental units built, he says.



PRIVATE PROJECTS
In addition to the membership communities, there are
some private subdivisions in the works--one outside
San Diego, California, and another near Rico,
Colorado--that will be based on the Earthship. News
has spread about Solar Survival designs. especially
since 1990, when the term Earthship was coined. In
Bend, Oregon, an Earthship won a reuse and waste
prevention award from the Association of Oregon
Recyclers in September, 1995. Homes have been built
throughout the U.S. and also in Canada, Mexico,
Bolivia and Japan. There is strong interest in the
concept in New Zealand and Australia, and the company
is currently negotiating to construct one for an
upcoming world's fair in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1998.

The company keeps track of Earthships that have been
built or are under construction, and 300 are on the
database. That list is likely not complete, because
some are built independently, straight from the book.
The designs range from a simple 1,000 sq.ft. unit to a
million dollar mansion built by actor Dennis Weaver in
Ridgway, Colorado.


INSPECTORS AND PERMITS
Although the popularity of Earthships is rising, they
are still a novel concept to most public officials.
The first Earthship builder in a region or county has
to take the role of pioneer, educating building
inspectors, planners and zoning boards. When Solar
Survival sells architectural plans to a prospective
homebuilder, the company generally has to help them
through the permitting process, Reynolds says. It
generally takes persistence, and a lot of time. The

Revisiting Solar Power's Past

Inventors unlocked the secrets of turning the sun's
rays into mechanical power more than a century ago,
only to see their dream machines collapse from lack of
public support. Modern solar engineers must not be
doomed to relive their fate.

Charles Smith is an adjunct faculty member in the
Department of Technology at Appalachian State
University, and a doctoral candidate in the Department
of Science and Technology Studies at Virginia
Polytechnic Institute. His primary area of research is
the history of energy.

Many of us assume that the nation's first serious push
to develop renewable fuels was spawned while angry
Americans waited in gas lines during the energy
crisis of the 1970s. Held hostage by the OPEC oil
embargo, the country suddenly seemed receptive to
warnings from scientists, environmentalists, and even
a few politicians to end its over-reliance on finite
coal and oil reserves or face severe economic distress
and political upheaval.
But efforts to design and construct devices for
supplying renewable energy actually began some 100
years before that turbulent time--ironically, at the
very height of the Industrial Revolution, which was
largely founded on the promise of seemingly
inexhaustible supplies of fossil fuels. Contrary to
the prevailing opinion of the day, a number of
engineers questioned the practice of an industrial
economy based on nonrenewable energy and worried about
what the world's nations would do after exhausting the
fuel supply.

More important, many of these visionaries did not just
provide futuristic rhetoric but actively explored
almost all the renewable energy options familiar
today. In the end, most decided to focus on solar
power, reasoning that the potential rewards outweighed
the technical barriers. In less than 50 years, these
pioneers developed an impressive array of innovative
techniques for capturing solar radiation and using it
to produce the steam that powered the machines of that
era. In fact, just before World War I, they had
outlined all of the solar thermal conversion methods
now being considered. Unfortunately, despite their
technical successes and innovative designs, their work
was largely forgotten for the next 50 years in the
rush to develop fossil fuels for an energy-hungry
world.

Now, a century later, history is repeating itself.
After following the same path as the early
inventors--in some cases reinventing the same
techniques--contemporary solar engineers have arrived
at the same conclusion: solar power is not only
possible but eminently practical, not to mention more
environmentally friendly. Alas, once again, just as
the technology has proven itself from a practical
standpoint, public support for further development and
implementation is eroding, and solar power could yet
again be eclipsed by conventional energy technologies.

The First Solar Motor
The earliest known record of the direct conversion of
solar radiation into mechanical power belongs to
Auguste Mouchout, a mathematics instructor at the Lyce
de Tours. Mouchout began his solar work in 1860 after
expressing grave concerns about his country's
dependence on coal. It would be prudent and wise not
to fall asleep regarding this quasi-security, he
wrote. Eventually industry will no longer find in
Europe the resources to satisfy its prodigious
expansion. Coal will undoubtedly be used up. What will
industry do then? By the following year he was
granted the first patent for a motor running on solar
power and continued to improve his design until about
1880. During this period the inventor laid the
foundation for our modern understanding of converting
solar radiation into mechanical steam power.

Mouchout's initial experiments involved a
glass-enclosed iron cauldron: incoming solar radiation
passed through the glass cover, and the trapped rays
transmitted heat to the water. While this simple
arrangement boiled water, it was of little practical
value because the quantities and pressures of steam it
produced were minimal. However, Mouchout soon
discovered that by adding a reflector to concentrate
additional radiation onto the cauldron, he could
generate more steam. In late 1865, he succeeded in
using his apparatus to operate a small, conventional
steam engine.

By the following summer, Mouchout displayed his solar
motor to Emperor Napoleon III in Paris. The monarch,
favorably impressed, offered financial assistance for
developing an industrial solar motor for France. With
the newly acquired funds, Mouchout enlarged his
invention's capacity, refined the reflector,
redesigning it as a truncated cone, like a dish with
slanted sides, to more accurately focus the sun's rays
on the boiler. Mouchout also constructed a tracking
mechanism that enabled the entire machine to follow
the sun's altitude and azimuth, providing
uninterrupted

Islamic Extremists: U.S.-Financed, Enflamed, 
Seeking Revenge

On August 27th, Reuters published excerpts of an 
interview Osama bin Laden had given to the French daily newspaper France Soir in 
1995. In it he explained how U.S. and Pakistani officers had trained the 
volunteers he had recruited at his base in Pakistan to fight the Soviet invaders 
in Afghanistan. "I created my first [military] camps, where these volunteers 
underwent training led by Pakistani and American officers," the Saudi exile 
said. "The arms were supplied by the Americans and the money by the Saudis 
Our objective was the Islamic Revolution, no matter who our allies were 
American objectives were not to play a major role." 

Bin Laden, a complete unknown to most Americans a 
few months ago, is now recognized by most as one of our countrys deadliest 
adversaries. He has issued a fatwa calling on other Muslims to kill Americans as 
their religious duty. Circumstantial evidence links him to a number of major 
terrorist acts and plots in the past few years. 

Building the Monster 

It is common for liberal-left commentators to cite 
bin Ladens virulently anti-American terrorist network, and the equally radical 
Taliban regime in Kabul which supports him, as examples of "blowback"  
unintended negative fallout from U.S. covert operations. According to this 
analysis, it was our irrational, anti-communist impulse  as implemented by the 
"Cold War-mentality" in the CIA  which is responsible for our present terrorism 
predicament. Because of our hysterical aversion to communism, goes the line, we 
are now faced with "Islamic fundamentalism," the new global threat we must 
prepare to battle. 

Leading this chorus are the same Council on Foreign 
Relations (CFR) operatives in government and the media who have done the most to 
make the "Islamic threat" a self-fulfilling prophecy. Some of the loudest voices 
declaiming against the scourge of "militant" and "fundamentalist" Islam belong 
to the very strategists who are most responsible for the policies and actions 
(both past and present) that have built the most fanatical, anti-American 
"Islamic fundamentalist" regimes and organizations in the world today. These 
regimes and organizations are serving a hidden  though increasingly visible  
purpose. Iran, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Algeria, Sudan, the Muslim Brotherhood, 
Taliban, and a host of others in the extremist camp have been built into 
menacing perils to, among other things, justify the transformation of the UNs 
blue helmets into global gendarmes capable of enforcing UN dictates on all 
peoples and nations. 

Iran was the first major victim in this scheme. 
Iran under Shah Reza Pahlavi was the Wests strongest ally in the region and a 
force for moderation, modernization, and advancement of human rights. But to 
President Jimmy Carter and the CFR cabal who ran his Administration, Iran was to 
be the starting domino in a chain reaction designed to usher in the new world 
order. Khomeinis "fundamentalists" didnt overthrow the Shah, as the media 
mythmakers would have you believe; Carter and company did that. While the 
Establishment media cartel smeared the Shah as a latter-day Hitler, the Carter 
Administration pulled every deception and dirty trick imaginable to undermine 
the Pahlavi rule. U.S. Ambassador to the UN Andrew Young (CFR) added to the 
media image of Ayatollah Khomeini (then in exile) as a great holy man, declaring 
that "he will be hailed as a saint" when he returns to Teheran. In the final 
act, General Alexander Haig (CFR) sent his deputy commander, General Robert 
Huyser, to warn the Iranian military against supporting their emperor. 


Saddam the "Savior" 

No sooner was the U.S.-led Iranian coup completed 
than the CFR brain trust in our foreign policy establishment cited 
"balance-of-power" imperatives to justify pouring hundreds of millions (and then 
billions) of dollars of aid, technology, and military assistance into Saddam 
Husseins Iraq. The CFR double-domes in the Reagan and Bush Administrations 
assured us that Saddam would be our protection against the Khomeini strain of 
virulent Islam. During the eight-year Iran-Iraq War, Washington sold weapons to 
both sides, but clearly "tilted" toward Iraq. When the shooting started in 
Operation Desert Storm, President Bushs CFR coterie had us bedding down with 
Assad of Syria, Saddams rival for the title of "Maximum Terrorist Leader." 


The bombing of New York Citys World Trade Center 
signaled the rise of a new terrorist center  Kabul, Afghanistan. The Arab 
bombers in the case, who were tied to Sheik Omar Abdul Rahman, received their 
training during the Afghan War from mujahedeen groups trained and supplied by 
the CIA. The Sheik has been closely allied with Gulbaddin Hekmatyar, leader of 
one of the most radical anti-American elements of the Afghan mujahedeen, and the 
one most favored by U.S.

Anyone been logging aircraft incident stats ? Apart from the expected
increase in rediractions and airport closures about the globe, I have
logged 10 crashes this last month - is this figure within the normal range
of variation for the time of year - or is reportage up ?

I was prompted to tabulate my archives following reports earlier today
that a Quantas 767 was grounded following an engine blade loosening
shortly after take-off, not long after the crash of a 747-200 (Luxembourg
- Lagos, prior to landing.

Kalyazin, approximately 57 mi/90 km northeast of Moscow. The aircraft
reportedly belonged to Irs-Aero airline company.

Nov 21 - CHERRY POINT AIR STATION, N.C. -- A Marine Corps EA-6B Prowler
electronic warfare jet crashed into the Atlantic after all four crew
members ejected safely. The cause of the crash was under investigation.

Nov 23 - Estonia: an An-28 aircraft chartered by Elk Airways crashed near
Kardla, located on the island of Hiiumaa, approximately 60 mi/100 km
southwest of the capital city of Tallinn. No further details available.

Nov 24 - Switzerland: A Crossair BAE Systems Avro RJ100 jet airliner
crashed in a woodland area outside of Zurich on its final approach to
Kloten International Airport. The cause of the crash was unknown.

US shuts down Somalia internet

Somalia's only internet company and a key telecoms company have
been forced to close because the United States suspects them of
terrorist links. The two firms, Somalia Internet Company and
al-Barakaat, both appear on a US list of organisations accused of
funnelling money to the al-Qaeda network.

Both companies have stated categorically they they are not linked
to terrorists.

The US believes the two companies also support Bin Laden

I would say it is very depressing and if I could find any stronger

Along with denying all internet access to Somalis, the closures
have severely restricted international telephone lines and shut
down vitally needed money transfer facilities.

Correspondents say the closure of the companies will have a
devastating effect on the country, which desperately needs the
services they provide.

Desperation

The BBC's Hassan Barise in Mogadishu said more than 80% of Somalis
depend on money they receive from relatives outside the country.

Thousands of Somalis depend on al-Barakaat's services

He said all internet cafes have now shut down and international
phone lines run by two other companies are failing to cope with
the extra pressure of calls.

He also pointed out that the United Nations, local and international
aid agencies, as well as the government itself all relied heavily
on internet access, now denied.  I would say it is very depressing
and if I could find any stronger word than that I would say it,
he said.

He added the impact would be felt even more strongly because the
cuts have come during the holy month of Ramadan.

Shutdown

On 7 November, the Bush administration released the list of 62
organisations and individuals accused of financial links with Osama
Bin Laden.

Reports say the Somali Internet Company was forced to close when
it realised that its international gateway had been cut off.

The international phone service is suffering

Al-Barakaat, Somalia's largest company with interests in
telecommunications, banking and postal services, closed its financial
businesses after its assets were frozen. Its international telephone
service was then shut down when its international gateway - run
jointly by ATT and British Telecom - was also cut off. The company,
which has 600 shareholders, is the largest employer in Somalia.
Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Somalis depend on it to
transfer money throughout the world. Somalis living abroad use it
to send money to their relatives back home as there are no other
banking systems in Somalia since the downfall of the Siad Barre
regime in 1991. Somalia's prime minister has issued a decree
appointing a special committee to investigate al-Barakaat, as well
as all other remittance companies.

Barakkat in Boston's Black Community of Dorchester. They were all

psychiatric patients there a long time ago is a horror
story. And now it has become a movie, a dramatized
account of a bleak chapter in the history of Canadian
psychiatry, produced by a former fifth estate
documentary maker, Bernard Zuckerman. The central
character in the TV movie is a world-renowned
psychiatrist at the Allan in the early sixties. His
name was Dr. Ewen Cameron.

BERNARD ZUCKERMAN (producer, The Sleep Room): It's
the classic story of good turning to evil in its most
simplistic terms. Dr. Cameron started off as someone
who was probably one of the most enlightened
psychiatrists in the country, but then something
happened. And whatever happened, suddenly here is this
enlightened doctor, this noble doctor, who begins
doing more and more and more bizarre experiments on
his patients, to the point where he is destroying the
minds of hundreds of people.

DR. EWEN CAMERON (clip): These are the days and hours
of the 

MACINTYRE: Inspired by the exuberant post-war optimism
in technology, Cameron thought he'd achieved a major
scientific breakthrough: how to repair a damaged human
mind. The media rejoiced, even coined a phrase which
would become a tragically silly oxymoron: beneficial
brainwashing.

Linda MacDonald was a young mother with five children
under the age of five when she started feeling low.
Her family doctor knew just the man to make her
better.

LINDA MACDONALD (former patient of Dr. Ewen Cameron):
I was tired, I was depressed, my back was hurting, and
so he said to the children's father, Why don't you go
to Montreal and visit this Dr. Ewen Cameron, this
famous man, who has all of these accolades, and have
an assessment? So we went. My medical file even says
that I took my guitar with me. And that was the end of
my life. Within three weeks Dr. Cameron decided to
call me an acute schizophrenic, and ship me up to the
sleep room.

MACINTYRE: How long did they put you to sleep for?

MACDONALD: I was in a coma for 86 days.

MACINTYRE: Eighty-six days of unbroken sleep.

MACDONALD: Eighty-six...comatose, yeah, total comatose
state.

MACINTYRE: The theory was simple: erase a disturbed

Harry Potter and Terror's Networks

It won't be long, most likely, before Osama's body is on display and
an end written to his chapter in the unfinished saga of Empire v.
Terror. How appropriate that this last week millions of children here
in the US, (the most implacable critics of all), were watching Harry
Potter's battle with Quirrell and the arch villain Voldemort, the
traductive or etymological roots of whose name, flight of death or
alternately death wish have appropriately bin-Ladian echoes.
Voldemort murdered Harry's parents and how sharp a reverberation
Harry's battle with Voldemort must have with those children in the
New York area who lost a mother or a father on September 11; how
uncomforting headmaster Dumbledore's subsequent remark to Harry that
to the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure.


One of the big scenes in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
is the chess battle with the forces of darkness, where, as a knight,
Ron sacrifices himself to the white queen, in a scene crisply
described by J.K. Rowling: She struck Ron hard across the head with
hr stone arm, and he crashed to the floor Ron's sacrifice allows

  Harry and Hermione to cross the board safely.
Chess comes out of Islam, originally invented in India somewhere in
the seventh century. Early Muslim writers often contrasted chess, a
game symbolising the exercise of free will and rationality, with
backgammon, emblem of the caprices of the dice and of fate. In the
bluff, lottery-loving West chess is iconically regarded as the
province of brainy villains. In this style bin Laden was billed as
Terror's grand master, with the world as his chess board.
In the death games played by adults children are always the pawns.
We play poker, they play chess used to be a favored phrase of
President Kennedy, the notion being that the Communist enemy in all
his Oriental cunning, had a strategy thoroughly conceived and
inherently rational: move would be countered by move, with
uncertainty and chance eliminated. We, on the other hand, play poker.
We gamble and bluff.
Living chess has always fascinated people, the notion of absolute
power in the disposition of men and women; also the idea that a wrong
move can cause death. During the Spanish Inquisition a Dominican
Inquisitor called Pedro Arbues ordered unfortunate victims of
persecution to stand in as figures in a game of living chess played
by two blind monks. Each time they captured a piece they condemned
someone to death. Chess is mostly used in films to indicate thought,
problems, villainy or Nemesis.
The Ayatollah Khomeini banned chess in Iran on the grounds that it
excessively fatigues the brain. In the Pali Dialogues of the Buddha,
from the fifth century before Christ, (as edited by Rhys Davies in
Sacred Books of the Buddha, 1899) the Buddha enumerates the trifles
that occupy the thoughts of the unconverted man.
1. Games on boards with eight or   ten rows or squares.
2.The same games played by imagining such boards in the air.
3. Keeping going over diagrams drawn   on the ground, so that one
steps only where one ought to go.
4. Either removing the pieces of men   from a heap with one's nail,
or putting them in a heap, in each   case without shaking it. He who
shakes the heap loses.
5.Throwing a dice.
6. Hitting a short stick with a long   one.
7. Dipping the hand with the long finger stretched out in lac or dye
or flour water and striking the wet   hand on the ground or on a
wall, calling out 'What shall it be?'   and showing the form
required, elephants, horses etc.

This looks like the beginning of the continuation of Cyber-Warfare,
although it could be Cyber-Terrorism.  I have received more virus

My virus zapper works well enough (I suppose) to keep the nasties off
my system but this may not be the case for everyone.  Looking at one
sight, the URL to which I provided yesterday, this new one graphed is
like a a dandelion field in late Spring ... it's really active.

I suggest that these incidents be reported back to the List Leader
and have the perpetrators blocked and banned from posting as long as
they are coming through the list or to list members.  This smacks of
abortion clinic type attactix where a list contains email addresses
to which those who disagree with the general intent of the list can
email virii in hopes of disrupting the Constitution.  Depending on
what I receive in the future, I will consider notifying ISPs and
whoever else is harbouring the offenders.  I realise that some may be
blindsided but it's important to remove the veil of the vile live
evil.

Before I start sounding W-ish, I'll leave it here.  But perhaps
Ashcroft might be interested in this sort of thing.  Give the DoJ
something else to do with their time.

with a virus checker and more importantly a software firewall (blackice
defender is cool) and worry not again about who is probing your ports
hehehe. if you do have a virus or worse- a trojan- then even if you are
infected- any in or out traffic will be monitored so any problems can be
dealt with soonish.

in fact one person was painted entirely in words and
slogans about the nuclear culture and managed to tie
himself, partially, to the front gate and hang,
crucifix style for all of about a minute and a half
before he was grabbed, slammed down, KICKED...and
hauled away...by people with the public 'trust'

[Rupp is the purported October Surprise pilot that
Richard Brenneke was trying to defend, when his
testimony got him in trouble.]

When Rupp was in Leavenworth Prison he wrote a letter
to President Bush dated August 1, 1989, to which he
attached a copy of his membership card in the
Association of Former Intelligence Offcers. The letter
contains several blatant factual errors. For example,
he stated, My Agency tenure began in 1957 with the
OSS. The OSS was disbanded after World War II. He
also stated in the letter that he had investigated the
Imhausen/Libya affair and its connection with
Ghorbanifar's I.B.I. in Frankfurt. In fact, I.B.I.
was controlled by a man named Barbouti, not the
Iranian middle man Ghorbanifar.

Rupp closed his letter thusly: For the protection of
this country and the ideals which I have been sworn to
uphold, my lips have been and will be sealed, and I
remain, Yours in Faithful Service, Heinrich F. Rupp,
Scorpio 688.

Just your typical CIA contract agent.

Global was also named as a CIA front by a retired CIA
Middle East expert. In December 1990, Bruce Hemmings,
a retired CIA senior operations offcer who worked on
the Iran desk in 1985, issued several written
statements criticizing the CIA's role and cover-up in
the Iran-Contra scandal and other misdeeds. In part of
his statement entitled CIA Gun Running to Iran Goes
Back to 1981, Hemmings stated:

Since at least 1981, a worldwide network of
'free-standing' [i.e., no direct U.S. government ties]
companies, including airlines, aviation and military
spare parts suppliers, and trading companies, has been
utilized by the CIA and the U.S. government to
illegally ship arms and military spare parts to Iran
and to the Contras. These companies were set up with
the approval and knowledge of senior CIA offcials and
other senior U.S. government officials and staffed
primarily by ex-CIA, ex-FBI and ex-military offcers.

The companies include Aero Systems, Inc., of Miami,
Arrow Air, Aero Systems Pvt. Ltd of Singapore, Hierax
of Hong Kong, Pan Aviation in Miami, Merex in North
Carolina, Sur International, St. Lucia Airways, Global
International Airways, International Air Tours of
Nigeria, Continental Shelf Explorations, Inc.,
Jupiter, Florida, Varicon, Inc., Dane Aviation Supply
of Miami, and others, such as Parvus, Safir,
International Trading and Investment Guaranty Corp.,
Ltd., and Information Security International Inc.

Through these mechanisms, staffed by ex-intelligence
and military officers, the administration and the CIA
have been able to circumvent and ignore the legal
intelligence mechanisms and Congressional oversight.
C-130, F4, TOWs and Hawk missile parts were shipped to
Iran in violation of the arms embargo and a variety of
mechanisms were used, including International Air
Tours of Nigeria in August and September 1985, Arrow
Air in November 1985, and Global International and Pan
Aviation and others going back in 1981.

In another document, entitled Corruption Within CIA:
A Cast of Characters, Hemmings severely criticizes
Thomas Twetten, the deputy director of operations for
the CIA and Hemmings's former boss. In one section
Hemmings discusses weapons sales to Iran and how
Twetten deliberately undermined the case of a foreign
official who had information on such sales by turning
the matter over to the British:

Twetten's decision and that of London station is
highly suspect ancl negligent, as they knew, as I did,
that the British government was, along with the
British arms industry, Tiny Rowland, Ashraf Marwan and
Adnan Khashoggi, his partner, deeply involved in such
trafficking. Obviously, Twetten also knew that North,
Shackley, Clines, Hakim, Robert Sensi, and Cyrus
Hashemi, and Farhad Azima were also involved in such
trafficking, as all these individuals were part of the
same network; as him.

Hemmings, who won the CIA's intelligence commendation
medallion in 1985, is extremely bitter about the way
he was treated by the CIA in its attempts to cover up
its role in Iran-Contra.

In his position on the Iran desk in Washington,
Hemmings became aware of the senior CIA officials'
role in the secret arms-for-hostages transaction with
Iran and the subsequent cover up by the CIA. His
knowledge of this came up in April 1987 during the
confirmation hearings for William Webster as Director
of Central Intelligence. Hemmings was ordered by his
superiors to prepare a memo on what he knew, but to
leave out certain things.

My refusal to alter my testimony to fit the cover
story then, and later in 1989 as a Senate witness,
brought me under intense pressure to remain silent or
else!! Death, unemployment and loss of access to my
children were all used as weapons and threats,
Hemmings wrote in a December 1990 statement mailed to
me.

Re: [CTRL] Library Can't Get Barry the Boys

  I asked my local library to purchase a copy of Daniel Hopsicker's book,
Barry  the Boys.  The book isn't available anywhere in the statewide
system they use, so it's not available for inter-library loan.  I don't know
if everyone is aware that you can request that your local library to make
specific purchases.  They will take all requests into consideration, and I've
had good luck with this in the past.

  They called me today and said they approved the purchase and tried to put
the order through but that the company canceled the request and the book
is not available for ordering.  I find this plenty strange because the book
is available from amazon.com for crying out loud, so how can a public library
not get it?  I trust that the library tried, and I don't think they're lying
to me or anything.  I don't know enough about the book-ordering process to
know where they might have hit a snag.

  But I am suspicious that there would be any snags to hit.  It's a hot book,
which is why I wanted them to buy it.  I wanted it to be available for local
consumption for anyone who might do a search on CIA or any number of
keywords.  I've heard of book snags before - like deliberately messed-up
ISBN #'s making ordering nearly impossible.  More than once I've seen hot
books listed in public library catalogs but not on the shelves or anywhere to
be found.  I figured they have mini-goons going around stealing them -
anything to make it difficult for the public to find the info.  The last book
I recall this happening with was Judith Spencer's Satan's High Priest.  It
was an excellent book, by the way - a very insightful inside view of a
satanic cult, with important insights into the psychology of perpetrators.
I could see why mini-goons might want to steal it.

We recall a One Time Only news report some ~15 years ago that a

container had been found to be missing at Fort DIetrich.  ONCE.

We have a book Biohazards, purchased USED some about 1 year
after the
reported container loss.  This book didn't even say what exactly was

container.

christianity started off as a cult like any other today - give up all your
money to The Leader in order to become one of the special ones. jesus said
many things that show a tremendous amount of wisdom but also quite a few
things that were almost fascistic in nature. unfortunately, it's virtually
impossible to decide what he really did say and what was later attributed to
him by various revisionists attempting to make people follow the rules -
the greeks and romans had alterior motives and the early christians were
certainly not neutral. the entire old testament is the story of an angry,
vengeful god spying on people like the cia and removing them from the gene
pool at the smallest insignificant faults. a large chunk of the new
testament is people warning that the same god is coming back to perform mass
genocide on all those that did not follow the rules. therefore
breaking his promise to noah i might add.and it is capped off with a
story of these events actually occurring. this is supposed to be a good
thing. praise the lord!

to argue that the jewish, and therefore christian and muslim, god is not a
hideously vengeful fascist would be very difficult on your part and i don't
suggest you try doing it..

really, take a look at those links i sent. the koran is even worse than the

Lets be honest: youll never win the lottery.

On the other hand, chances are pretty high that youll
slave away at some shitty job the rest of your life.

Thats because in all likelihood you were born into
the wrong social class. Lets face it  youre a
member of the WORKING CASTE.

As a result, you dont have the education, upbringing,
connections, manners, appearance, and good taste to
ever become one of us.

In fact, youd probably need a book the size of the
yellow pages to list all the unfair advantages we have
over you.

Thats why were so relieved that you continue to
believe the silly old fairy tale about justice and
equal opportunity in America.

Of course, in a hierarchical system like ours, theres
not much room at the top to begin with. And anyway,
its already occupied by us (in fact we like it up
here so much that we intend to keep it that way).

But at least theres usually someone lower in the
social hierarchy you can feel superior to and kick in
the teeth once in a while. Even a lowly dishwasher can
find some poor slob even lower than he to sneer and
spit at.

So be thankful for poor Blacks, migrant workers,
prostitutes and homeless street people.

Always remember that if everyone like you were
economically secure and socially privileged like us,
there would be no one left to fill those boring,
dangerous shit jobs in our economy. And no one to
fight our wars or blindly follow orders in our
corporate armies. And certainly no one to meekly go to
their grave without having lived a full and creative
life.

So please, keep up the good work!

Plus, you probably dont have the same vicious,
greedy, compulsive drive to acquire and possess
wealth, power and prestige that we have. And even
though you sincerely desire freedom, you also fear
freedom, keeping you and others like you in a nervous
state of limbo.

So you mechanically go through life playing your
assigned social role, terrified of what others would
think should you ever dare to break out of the mold.


Naturally we play you off against each other whenever
it suits our purposes: skilled workers against
unskilled, unionized against non-unionized, Black
against White, American workers against Japanese
against Mexican against

We continually keep your wages low by invoking
foreign competition, the law of supply and demand,
or national security.

We throw you into the unemployed if you step out of
line or jeopardize our profits.

We even let you vote for one of our political
surrogates every now and then.

Happily, you havent a clue as to whats really
happening  instead you blame Blacks, Jews, Welfare
Mothers, Queers (everybody except us) for your
troubled situation.

Not only that, you still embrace the work ethic, even
though most jobs in our economy undermine your health,
poison the environment, and suck your one and only
life out of you.

We dont know much about work, but were sure glad
that you do.

Of course life could be different.

Society could be organized to meet the real needs of
the general population.

You could control your own activity and not be someone
elses pawn.

But you dont know that. You cant even imagine it.

In fact, thats probably the greatest accomplishment
of our system: robbing you of your imagination, your
creativity, your ability to think for yourself.

So wed truly like to thank you from the bottom of our
heartless hearts. Its obedient wage slaves like you
that help make our lives so pleasant. Your loyal
sacrifice makes possible our corrupt luxury; your work
makes our system work.

So once again, thanks for knowing your place 
without even knowing it.

THE war on terrorism is to be extended to three new countries as soon
as

Targets linked to Osama Bin Laden in Somalia, Sudan and Yemen will be

created by the anti-terror coalition's successes must be maintained

We have the wind at our backs and we don't want to lose it, said a
senior Washington source.

Preparations are under way in all three countries.

Intelligence officers from both Britain and America have been on the
ground to gather information about terrorists and ascertain their
links
with Bin Laden's Al-Qaeda organisation.

MI6, the British secret intelligence service, has played a leading
role.
Security sources emphasised their expertise and indicated
that Humint
intelligence from human sources  was proving critical.

The British and their CIA counterparts have been assembling evidence
to be
used as the basis for stiletto attacks on Bin Laden's associates and
terrorist training camps. Military preparations have also begun,
though
plans to strike specific targets have not yet been finalised.

The first targets, according to British sources, could be hit as
early as
late January if the war in Afghanistan is nearing its final stages by
then.

Yemen, where 17 American sailors died in a suicide bomb attack on the
USS
Cole at Aden last year, is considered the country most likely to feel
Washington's wrath. Al-Qaeda supporters, including many Afghan
veterans,
have established bases in the northern mountains, where they run
training
camps.

The targets may include Aden Islamic Army camps identified by eight
British fundamentalists who were convicted in Yemen over their part
in a
terrorist campaign that including the kidnapping and killing of four
tourists in 1998.

American officials hope to secure the co-operation of the Yemeni
president, Ali Abdullah Saleh, who visits Washington this week. In
Sudan,
where Bin Laden lived until 1996, the Bush administration is expected
to
pursue followers of Hassan al-Turabi, a former parliamentary speaker
now
under house arrest. Al-Turabi, whose niece is married to Bin Laden,
gave
him sanctuary for five years.

Possible targets in Somalia include the Al-Itihaad group, which has
been
linked to Bin Laden through Muhammad Atef, his deputy, who was killed
by
an American missile in Afghanistan.

The plans to widen the war emerged as it was disclosed that two
British
special force soldiers were shot and wounded in the hunt for Bin
Laden.
SAS and Special Boat Squadron troopers have been involved in
skirmishes in
several areas, most recently near the Taliban's southern stronghold of
Kandahar. The campaign in northern Afghanistan appeared to be
reaching its
climax yesterday as Arab supporters of Bin Laden prepared for a last
stand
in Konduz, despite being deserted by hundreds of Taliban fighters who
switched sides to join the Northern Alliance laying siege to the city.

Officials believe that extending the campaign to Sudan, Somalia and
Yemen
will keep Al-Qaeda on the run. A Ministry of Defence spokesman said
last
night: We are focused on Afghanistan.

However, this is part of a wider war on terror, wherever that may be,
so
it should not be a surprise to learn that military planning may be
under
way in other parts of the world. While we cannot confirm targets, the
three countries mentioned have all been linked to terrorist activity.

The People of Afghanistan Do Not Accept Rule by

Now it is confirmed that the Taliban have left Kabul
and the Northern Alliance has entered the city.

The world should understand that the Northern Alliance
is composed of some bands who did show their real
criminal and inhuman nature when they were ruling
Afghanistan from 1992 to 1996.

The retreat of the terrorist Taliban from Kabul is a
positive development, but entering of the rapist and
looter NA in the city is nothing but a dreadful and
shocking news for about 2 million residents of Kabul
whose wounds of the years 1992-96 have not healed yet.

Thousands of people who fled Kabul during the past two
months were saying that they feared coming to power of
the NA in Kabul much more than being scared by the US
bombing.

The Taliban and Al-Qaeda will be eliminated, but the
existence of the NA as a military force would shatter
the joyful dream of the majority for an Afghanistan
free from the odious chains of barbaric Taliban. The
NA will horribly intensify the ethnic and religious
conflicts and will never refrain to fan the fire of
another brutal and endless civil war in order to
retain in power. The terrible news of looting and
inhuman massacre of the captured Taliban or their
foreign accomplices in Mazar-e-Sharif in past few days
speaks for itself.

Though the NA has learned how to pose sometimes before
the West as democratic and even supporter of women's
rights, but in fact they have not at all changed, as a
leopard cannot change its spots.

RAWA has already documented heinous crimes of the NA.
Time is running out. RAWA on its own part appeals to
the UN and world community as a whole to pay urgent
and considerable heed to the recent developments in
our ill-fated Afghanistan before it is too late.

We would like to emphatically ask the UN to send its
effective peace-keeping force into the country before
the NA can repeat the unforgettable crimes they
committed in the said years.

The UN should withdraw its recognition to the
so-called Islamic government headed by Rabbani and
help the establishment of a broad-based government
based on the democratic values.

RAWA's call stems from the aspirations of the vast
majority of the people of Afghanistan.

Suffer Palestine's Children

Early in the morning of November 22, five Palestinian
children were blown to pieces by an Israeli mine or
bomb as they headed to school in Khan Younis. The
children were 6 to 14 years-of-age, all from the Al
Astel family. It is unclear if the explosion was set
off by the children tripping over or kicking the
device, or via remote control.

The next day, a senior Israeli Defense Forces (IDF)
official was quoted on Israel Radio as saying a big
mistake was done. The officer admitted an undercover
army unit planted the device in the area, yet evaded
any explanation as to why it was planted in the
vicinity of a school. Yesterday, the IDF issued its
first official statement regarding the killings. An
IDF investigation revealed serious flaws in the
planting and operation of the ordnance. Following the
usual script, the IDF feigned sorrow over the deaths
of five children. The IDF claims the device was
planted in an area used by Palestinians to fire
mortars at nearby Israeli colonial settlements and
army positions. Israel Radio quoted IDF officials as
saying the device was meant to remain well hidden and
was to be set off when the Palestinian shooters
returned to the area. (quoting Ha'aretz, 11/25/01)

Israeli opposition leader MK Yossi Sarid of Meretz,
responding to IDF claims that their recent operations
in Khan Younis were designed to prevent Palestinian
attacks, stated: That's a targeted hit? Do you know
who will pass by the area [where the bomb is planted]?
It's a residential area. What kind of bombs do you
place in an area where school children pass by?
(Ha'aretz, 11/24/01)

MK Ran Cohen (Meretz) has called for a Knesset
committee to investigate the incident, expressing
dismay that the IDF sat quietly for two days before
putting out an official statement that amounts to
little more than a cover-up.

MK Uri Ariel (National Union-Yisrael Beiteinu)
disagreed, stating that IDF investigations take time
because they are thorough. I have faith in the IDF,
he stated. [Ariel] said that the army was is in the
throes of the battle in the territories, and was busy
assassinating Mahmoud Abu Hanoud [of Hamas] and so
could not concentrate solely on the investigation that
Cohen demanded. (Ha'aretz, 11/25/01)

In other words: we were too busy trying to assassinate
a Palestinian leader to investigate our killing of
Palestinian children, but now that we've taken a
five-minute breather from our assassination campaign
we can conclude from our thorough investigation that a
regretful mistake was made. Sorry kids, we'll try to
do a better job of killing the right folks next time.

The Israelis have not condemned the killings, though
some officials say an apology might perhaps be in
order.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, the
total number of Palestinians killed since the second
Intifada erupted on September 29, 2000 is 821. 16,661
Palestinians have been injured, many maimed for life.
Palestinian children under the age of 18 represent
about 1/4 of those killed.

The Israeli military's killing of Palestinian children
is not a sometimes accidental by-product of 34 years
of occupation. It is in fact a matter of deliberate
policy.

In a chilling interview conducted by Ha'aretz
correspondent Amira Hass, an IDF sharpshooter admitted
it was IDF policy to shoot at children above the age
of 12. Here is an excerpt [AH = Hass, IS =
Sharpshooter]:

(AH) You haven't shot children.

(IS) All the sharpshooters haven't shot children.

(AH) But nonetheless there are children who were hit,
wounded or killed after they were hit in the head.
Unless these were mistakes.

(IS) If they were children, they were mistakes.

(AH) Do they talk about this?

(IS) They talk to us about this a lot. They forbid us
to shoot at children.

(AH) How do they say this?

(IS) You don't shoot a child who is 12 or younger.

(AH) That is, a child of 12 or older is allowed?

(IS) Twelve and up is allowed. He's not a child any
more, he's already after his bar mitzvah. Something
like that.

(AH) Thirteen is bar mitzvah age.

(IS) Twelve and up, you're allowed to shoot. That's
what they tell us.

(AH) Again: Twelve and up you're allowed to shoot
children.

(IS) Because this already doesn't look to me like a
child by definition, even though in the United States
a child can be 23.

(AH) Under international law, a child is defined as
someone
up to the age of 18.

(IS) Up until 18 is a child?

(AH) So, according to the IDF, it is 12?

(IS) According to what the IDF says to its soldiers.
I don't know if this is what the IDF says to the
media.

(AH) And children are from 12 down. Is there no order
that between 12 and 18 you shoot at the legs and not
the head?

(IS) Of course we try to see to it that he really is
over
20.

(AH) In the 10 seconds that you have.

(IS) In the 10 seconds that I have, I have to
estimate how old he is.

Conspiracy theories about Sept. 11 abound in Arab and Muslim nations. The
pernicious lie that continues to resonate, one that has been gaining
ground
among some Muslims in the United States, is that Israel somehow was
directly
involved.

This dangerous blame game is a rebirth of the big lie, and, sadly, not
nearly
enough is being done to halt the rise of this ugly, historic phenomenon.

As recently as last week, a Taliban security chief in Spin Buldak,
Afghanistan,
told four American journalists it was common knowledge that 4,000 Jews
working
at the World Trade Center took Sept. 11 off. He asked them why the U.S.
was
bombing his country when Jews were responsible for the attack.

Jews have been scapegoated and libeled throughout history. Since the
attacks,
the conspiracy-mongers of the Arab world, including leaders of nations
like
Syria, have taken anti-Israel propaganda to a new level. The message,
aimed
primarily at the street, is that Israel or the Mossad helped to coordinate
the
attacks to create a backlash against Arabs, Islam and Palestinians.

Major regional newspapers go so far as to attribute this conspiracy theory
and
other anti-Israel statements to former and current U.S. leaders and
American
sources. The Frontier Post of Peshawar, Pakistan, recently reported that
it
obtained information from a U.S. intelligence source confirming that an
internal intelligence memo pointed to the threat of a covert Israeli
operation
on U.S. soil.

Others manufacture statements. The Tehran Times reported that former
national
security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski had told the TV network Al
Jazeera, Currently, there are two sorts of terrorism in the world. First,

Syria's ambassador to Tehran, Tarky Muhammad Saqer, claimed that Syria
has documented evidence of Israel's involvement. Zionists pursued
certain
goals by conducting the attacks, Saqer reportedly told Iran's Foreign
Affairs
Ministry. Those goals included turning attention away from the UN World
Conference Against Racism. This continual news feed of anti-American and
anti-
Israel coverage must change. Those in power in the Arab world must lead
the
way.

As we have witnessed time and again, such charged rhetoric invites
extremists
to step in with incitement. Incitement creates an environment conducive
to, and
accepting of, terrorism. As the U.S. and other nations join in the battle
against worldwide terrorism, there must be renewed vigilance against
purveyors
of anti-Semitism and hatred.

The battle will not be won until we can change the minds and hearts of
those
leaders who permit anti-Jewish, anti-Israel and anti-American propaganda
to
proceed.

Roosevelt that created a military commission to try foreign spies and
saboteurs, and denied them the right to judicial review and the right to
trial in nonmilitary U.S. courts. They would, instead, be tried by a
military tribunal of seven generals, none a trained lawyer, in a conference
room in the FBI headquarters, on the fifth floor of the Justice Department,
away from the press, a civilian jury and civilian judges . . . In July 1942,
when the first witness took the stand and was asked the first question,
Kenneth Royall, the appointed counsel for the defendants, stood up and made
a valid objection to the form of the question. The tribunal recessed for 45
minutes, roughly the amount of time it takes to smoke a good cigar, and
returned with their response. Objection overruled. The question was answered
and another asked. Royall stood up and made a second sound objection, but
after another cigar break, the panel again overruled him. At this rate the
trial would have lasted three years, but Royall took the generals' hint and
sat virtually mum for the remainder of the month-long trial.

Can Freedom be Exchanged for Security?

It's easy for elected officials in Washington to tell the American people
that the government will do whatever it takes to defeat terrorism.  Such
assurances inevitably are followed by proposals either to restrict the
constitutional liberties of the American people or spend vast sums from the
federal treasury.  The history of the 20th century shows that the
Constitution is violated most often by Congress during times of crisis;
accordingly, most of our worst unconstitutional agencies and programs began
during the two world wars and the Depression.  Ironically, the Constitution
itself was conceived in a time of great crisis.  The founders intended its
provision to place inviolable restrictions on what the federal government
could do even in times of great distress.  America must guard against
current calls for government to violate the Constitution- break the law- in
the name of law enforcement.
Theanti-terrorism legislation recently passed by Congress demonstrates how
well-meaning politicians make shortsighted mistakes in a rush to respond to
a crisis.  Most of its provisions were never carefully studied by Congress,
nor was sufficient time taken to debate the bill despite its importance.  No
testimony was heard from privacy experts or others from fields outside of
law enforcement.  Normal congressional committee and hearing processes were
suspended.  In fact, the final version of the bill was not made available to
members before the vote!  These political games should not be tolerated by
the American public, especially when precious freedoms are at stake.
Almost all of the new laws focus on American citizens rather than potential
foreign terrorists.  For example, the definition of terrorism for federal
criminal purposes has been greatly expanded; you now may be considered a
terrorist if you belong to a pro-constitution group, a citizens militia, or
various pro-life organizations.  Legitimate protest against the government
could place you (and tens of thousands of other Americans) under federal
surveillance.  Similarly, your internet use can be monitored without your
knowledge, and your internet provider can be forced to hand over user
information to law enforcement without a warrant or subpoena.
The bill also greatly expands the use of traditional surveillance tools,
including wiretaps, search warrants, and subpoenas.  Probable cause
standards for these tools are relaxed or even eliminated in some
circumstances; warrants become easier to obtain and can be executed without
your knowledge; and wiretaps can be placed on you without a court order.  In
fact, the FBI and CIA now can tap phones or computers nationwide without
even demonstrating that a particular phone or computer is being used by a
criminal suspect.
The biggest problem with these new law enforcement powers is that they bear
little relationship to fighting terrorism.  Surveillance powers are greatly
expanded, while checks and balances on government are greatly reduced.  Most
of the provisions have been sought after by domestic law enforcement
agencies for years, not to fight terrorism, but rather to increase their
police power over the American people.  There is no evidence that our
previously-held civil liberties posed a barrier to the effective tracking or
prosecution of terrorists.  The federal government has made no showing that
it failed to detect or prevent the recent terrorist strikes because of the
civil liberties that will be compromised by this new legislation.
In his speech to the joint session of Congress following the September 11th
attacks, President Bush reminded all of us that the United States outlasted
and defeated Soviet totalitarianism in the last century.  The numerous
internal problems in the former Soviet Union- its centralized economic
planning and lack of free markets, its repression of human liberty, its
excessive militarization- all led to its inevitable collapse.  We must be
vigilant to resist the rush toward ever-increasing state control of our
society, so that our own government does not become a greater threat to our
freedoms than any foreign terrorist.

October 2001 An independent team of investigators led by former Oklahoma State Senator Charles Key recently released its "Final Report" on the April 19, 1995 bombing of Alfred J. Murrah Federal Building. The 550-page book is an exhaustive compilation of facts, evidence, witness testimony, and scientific reports that fill in the blanks left by six years of incompitent dominent media coverage and a federal cover-up that ultimately led to the execution of Timothy McVeigh.

The report makes it clear that the federal government almost immediately began spinning the story to present the image that McVeigh was alone the day the ammonium nitrate-fuel oil bomb exploded and caused the deaths of 168 people.

Witnesses who saw suspicious characters in downtown Oklahoma City the morning of April 19 were never called to the stand. All points bulletins issued by law enforcement to locate the suspicious characters were withdrawn immediately after the arrest of McVeigh -- an hour after the bombing -- though he was held for two days before being officially connected to the incident.

Witnesses who saw McVeigh in the presence of others days before the bombing and the morning of the bombing were excluded from court proceedings.

Witnesses who claim that their response to jump under their desks when the building began shaking moments before the blast were never called to testify.

Senator Key was apprised of these, and more inconsistencies within days of what, until September 11, 2001, was the worst "terrorist attack" in American history. "So many broken-hearted families affected directly by the bombing had unanswered questions and implored me, in my capacity as an elected official, to pursue further investigation into the case. This resulted in the formation of the Oklahoma Bombing Investigation Committee (OBIC) by private citizens, which was funded solely by the private sector," explained Key in the preface.

The report is a fascinating odyssey into the machinery of media mind manipulation as you begin to remember things that you saw and understood to be true at the time of the event but have long since been replaced with images intended to distort and confuse reality.

"We have sufficient proof to support our original contention that the federal government indeed had prior knowledge of the bombingEvidence we have amassed establishes that multiple John Does were involved," wrote Key.

Much of the evidence uncovered by the OBIC over the last six years has been ignored by the dominant media. The dominant media's insistence upon maintaining its role as propaganda ministry for a demonstrably weak official explanation of events in this, and other cases, may have emboldened the real terrorists, essentially lighting the runway for the most recent WTC tragedy to occur.

The final report became available prior to September 11. Yet the OBIC foreshadowed the WTC event by stating, "It is our belief that the bombing in Oklahoma City will not be the last terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Since all of the perpetrators have not been caught, they are still free to continue their work. This will happen again."

It has taken a full six years to amass the evidence and get it ready for publication. It is logical to conclude that it may be another six years before a comprehensive, impartial compilation of the evidence regarding the WTC attack will be available to the public. Until that time, the Final Report is the anatomy of the federal government's cover-up of what is now the second most deadly "terrorist" attack in U.S. history and, as such, no doubt provides clues that will allow us to gain inference into the mechanics of this most recent attack.

Fugitive Clayton Waagner said he is the sender of a series of anthrax threats to family planning clinics, and said he plans to begin killing 42 clinic workers he has identified, according to a fellow anti-abortion militant who says Waagner held him at gunpoint Friday.

"He had some FedEx packing slips and he had copies of the letters that had been included in there," said Neal Horsley, a Carrollton, Ga., anti-abortion activist whose writings Waagner has read.

The latest round of anthrax threats against family planning clinics had been sent through Federal Express last week using billing numbers stolen from Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation.

Horsley said Waagner, who has family roots in Western Pennsylvania, appeared heavier than in previous photos, had a beard and, when asked how he has survived as a fugitive, flashed rolls of $100 bills he said were taken in bank robberies.

"He said at one point, 'You know, I really am an accomplished criminal,' " Horsley said. "I asked him once where he had been and he said, 'I have never slept in the same bed twice.' "

Horsley's Web site, Christian Gallery, has been the subject of national controversy since he first published The Nuremberg List, a compendium of names and addresses -- sometimes photos -- of abortion providers, clinic workers and abortion- rights supporters. Critics have said that the files are a de facto hit list from which clinic stalkers have drawn names of future targets.

At the time Waagner was arrested, after allegedly staking out dozens of clinics in the Northeast and Mid-south, he said he was attempting to update the Nuremberg files and had hidden new addresses and information in a series of free e-mail accounts on various sites on the World Wide Web.

Waagner escaped in February from a jail in Clinton, Ill., where he was awaiting sentencing on federal firearms and interstate theft charges. As a career criminal, he could have received a life sentence.

In September, Waagner kidnapped a man outside a Tunica, Miss., casino and later fled in the man's car.

According to Horsley, Waagner stopped at Horsley's home shortly before noon Friday, but did not identify himself. Horsley said he did not recognize the man, who simply told him he had read Horsley's writings, shook his hand, then left.

About an hour later, Horsley said, the man reappeared and asked him if he recognized him. When he did not, the man said, "I'm Clay Waagner."

Horsley said the visit lasted about an hour, during which Waagner flashed money, showed dozens of false driver licenses with his photo on them, and informed Horsley that the gun he was carrying had been stolen in Memphis, Tenn.

"He asked me if I had heard that anyone suspected him of sending hundreds of letters filled with what was supposed to be anthrax powder to abortion clinics and Planned Parenthood offices around the country," Horsley said. "I told him I thought it was unlikely anyone would suspect him since he was on the run and obviously wouldn't have the means to do something like that. He took a seat near by desk and said, 'Well, it was me that did it.' "

Horsley said Waagner agreed to "an escape clause" under which he would not attack the 42 abortion industry workers he claims to have identified and targeted for murder.

They would be left alone, Horsley said Waagner told him, if they resigned their jobs and documented it. Wagner, according to Horsley, said these people needed to send Horsley information to prove that they no longer were employed at clinics.

Waagner then wanted Horsley to post the information on his Web site, which Waagner said he monitors.

"I said, 'How are they to know they're targeted?' " Horsley said. "He said, 'The holy spirit will tell them.' "

Their encounter ended a while later.

"When he left, he tied me up with duct tape so that it took many long minutes before I could untie myself," Horsley said.

Police in Carrollton, Horsley said, took fingerprints in his home, copies of documents Waagner left behind, and had him examine photos of Waagner. Horsley said he identified Waagner from one of three photographs posted on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List.

Carrollton police said yesterday that they have notified the FBI, and they would not discuss the incident.

Horsley's claim of a visit from Waagner comes a week after federal agents, including U.S. Postal inspectors, searched the Waagner family's home near Kennerdell, Venango County. At the time, agents were looking for information that might give some idea of his whereabouts.

The U.S. Marshals Service confirmed last night that Carrollton police were called to Horsley's home on Friday where they took possession of a tape and documents that appeared to be from Waagner.

WASHINGTON -- He has been called "an authentic American war hero" whose acts may have saved the lives of hundreds of American civilians.

Yet George Johann Dasch was tried as a saboteur by a secret military tribunal, similar to the one President Bush hopes will try members of Osama bin Laden's terrorist network, al Qaeda. He was found guilty in 1942 and sent to the Atlanta Federal Penitentiary.

The case is seen as cause for even greater concern by some -- though not all -- of the legal scholars who previously had criticized an executive order authorizing the Defense Department to try alleged al Qaeda terrorists in secret if it chooses.

Dasch was not a saboteur, once-sealed government documents show.

The records were made public in 1980 by Atlanta Constitution reporter Seth Kantor, who said they showed that Dasch prevented seven German-trained agents from carrying out their planned attacks on U.S. territory. And he coaxed the FBI into investigating the plot.

But after the secret trial, at which Dasch was the eighth defendant and was convicted, he was sentenced to 30 years of hard labor. Another defendant was sentenced to life at hard labor, and the other six were executed.

"Ironically, he is most probably an authentic American hero, responsible for saving many lives. But fate had made him a threat to the FBI's public image," wrote former FBI Special Agent William Turner in the 1970 history, "Hoover's FBI: The Men and the Myth."

J. Edgar Hoover, then director of the FBI, blocked release of records about Dasch's deeds. Hoover declared at one point that the records "might lead to embarrassment of the FBI," wrote Kantor, now dead.

Kantor wrote that the trial transcript showed that FBI agents promised Dasch a quick presidential pardon, but it did not happen. FBI records showed that Hoover, who was considered for a congressional medal because of the way his agents blocked the saboteurs, was motivated by a desire to seize credit for "the detective job of the century," Kantor wrote.

Critics of Bush's executive order found new cause for concern when told recently of the Dasch case.

"It's extraordinary," Harvard University law professor Ann Marie Slaughter said. "The danger of trial by military commission is precisely that it lacks the constitutional safeguards that we think are necessary to ensure that the people we try and convict are indeed guilty. To the extent that may in fact not have been the case in (Dasch's case), it highlights the special danger of using such commissions today."

Slaughter noted that the government may take to the planned secret trials "individuals whose crime is no greater than to have overstayed their visas and to have had contact with others who may have had contact with the terrorist network."

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., after reading copies of Kantor's 1980 articles, declared: "The lesson is that secret trials and lack of judicial oversight may be expedient, but they can also foster injustice and taint the legitimacy of the verdicts."

Duke University law professor Scott Silliman said he was more concerned that Bush's directive lacks the legal validity that a formal declaration of war or similar action by Congress would give it than about the way a secret commission appears to have mistreated Dasch in 1942.

Yale University law professor Ruth Wedgwood, an expert on international law and a former prosecutor, has said she thinks the commissions ordered by Bush are justified because of the need to protect classified documents and the urgency of stopping bin Laden.

However, Wedgwood said she has urged lawyers at the Department of Defense to draw up rules that would keep most of the proceedings public, with "some flexibility to close things that are classified."

`Simply one option'

Attorney General John Ashcroft cited the saboteurs' case earlier this week as one of several legal precedents for Bush's action.

The U.S. Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the 1942 tribunal.

"As far as legal authority or precedent is concerned, I would just say that this executive order does not preclude any other proceeding from taking place," White House spokesman Ken Lasaius said. "It is simply one option that could be pursued if the president thinks it is necessary."

Hoover prevailed on his boss, then-Attorney General Tom Clark, in 1944 to suppress a Department of Justice summary of the secret trial.

A funny thing has been happening in my email lately. Just a few weeks ago, both my wife and I started getting junk mail advertising porno sites. Not your average run-of-the-mill porno either, but really extreme stuff, seemingly intended to shock and outrage, advertising photos of sex involving under age partners and with life forms having more than two legs! In most cases, the mechanism to remove ones address from these mailing lists does not work.

Some of my friends have also started getting these ads as well. And a phone call to my local ISP confirms that this has become a problem in recent weeks, with people suddenly being recipients of ads for "fringe market" porn. Nobody can imagine how a company that deals in that sort of product line managed to get our names on their email addresses.

Ah, but all this has a familiar feel to it!

Back in 1995, before web browsers had really taken off and usenet was still the predominant means of social communication on the internet, there was a sudden influx of pornography being flooded onto the usenet newsgroups. Like the present case, the porno was of a character which seemed intended to shock and outrage. Even though there were (and still are) usenet newsgroups set aside for this kind of material, this particular flood of porn was being posted to usenet groups normally used for trading cooking recipes, sharing astronomical data, etc. When the readers of those non-sexual groups gently suggested that the posters of the porn move their activities to the usenet groups set aside for such things, the posters responded with a few obscene comments and proceeded to pour even more "fringe market" porn into totally inappropriate venues, including those likely to be viewed by children. Knowing that nobody but an FBI informant could ever be such an arrogant ass hole, knowledgeable internet observers began to suspect that the source of the porn had to be a government propaganda operation (not unlike the infamous Black Panther Coloring Book from the FBI's COINTELPRO scandal), and indeed headers of some of the posted porn tracked back through .gov and .mil servers.

We didn't have long to wait. Only a few weeks after this sudden onslaught of porn in inappropriate newsgroups appeared out of nowhere, Senator Exon stood up on the floor of the U.S. Senate during debate on the Senate Telecommunications Competition and Deregulation Act, waving about his now-infamous "blue book" of net-porn and demanded laws that (among other things) allowed for the operators of internet service providers to be held legally liable for the behaviors of their customers. The mainstream media, then as now the obeiscent servant of the state's agenda, droned on and on about how "everyone" in the nation had to be aware that porn was now an epidemic requiring government intervention. Exon got his law passed.

And, in the most telling sign of all, no sooner had the law been passed then, like a switch, the porn "epidemic" was gone. Overnight, those parties who had poured a flood of shocking and outraging porn all over usenet simply vanished; subtlety and finesse never having been a part of the US Government's Propaganda machine.

So now we are in a time when the US Government is waging open warfare on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The only venue of mass communication not yet under total control of the state is the internet, which functions as a modern day descendant of the "Samizdat"; the network of fax machines and copiers that allowed the citizens of the former USSR to expose the corruption of their government, leading to its collapse. And just as the Stalinists wanted to shut down the Samizdat, so too does the government of the United States, fearful of having its own corruptions exposed, search for a way to close down the free and open internet; to bring it under control of the state much as the mainstream media has been.

So when you open your email application and start seeing ads for "Sex with home appliances", "Sex with space aliens", or "Sex with politicians", you may be seeing your own tax dollars at work, to trick you into support of the government taking over control of the very last means of open and uncensored communications available to you, to plug that one last opening in the wall the government is building around your eyes and ears, so that you will have no choice but to believe that the world is really what the government tells you it is. And when that same government that leaves you no choice tells you that you are free, you will have no choice but to believe that as well, even though common sense will tell you that those without choices are really slaves, even if they do not realize it.

In 1971 one of the spies who figured in the Lavon Affair, Marcelle
Ninio, broke into the headlines of Israel and of the satellite Israeli
press in the United States. Ninio, the only woman involved in the affair
that so rocked the political life of Israel, had been exchanged for
Egyptian prisoners of war after the June 1967 war, along with Victor
Levy, Robert Dassa, and Philip Nathanson, her co-saboteurs, and

the New York Times of November 16, 1971, Premier Golda Meir was to

The entire tone of the article suggested innocence on the part of Israel

Post carried a four-column story on page 4, Israeli Heroine to Marry,
and referred to the dark-haired woman who spent fifteen years in a
Cairo prison for alleged sabotage activities.
Both newspapers slanted the reportage, withholding undisputed facts in
this true spy story. Although the so-called heroine had been deeply
involved in proven espionage, seventeen years later the same editorial
papers were compounding the felony they had originally committed. To
avoid presenting the established facts of Israeli sabotage against the
U.S., which had involved Israeli Cabinet ministers Dayan and Peres, the
Times covered up the affair in this fashion: The mission quickly was
shown to be a far-fetched idea.

When Israeli spy Elie Cohen, alias Kamal Amin Tabas, was uncovered by
Syrian intelligence and hanged in Damascus, an angry hue and cry arose
in the West, led by the media with photos (front page of the New York
Times) of the condemned's body hanging in the public square. Two popular
books, Our Man in Damascus 25 by Eli Ben-Hanan and The Silent Warriors
26 by Joshua Tadmor translated from the Hebrew by Israeli Ha'aretz. U.S.
correspondent Raphael Rothstein, made a martyr of the spy (the latter
tome was dedicated ironically enough to Elie Wiesel, the godfather of
anti-anti-Semitism) and attacked the lack of a fair trial to which the
press was not admitted. In the course of their glorification of the
Israeli superspy, the authors unwittingly further proved his guilt.
Cohen had been arrested in Egypt as part of the Lavon Affair spy ring
but held only for two years, released, and then had joined Israel's

of his operations. As an Oriental Jew he was fluent in Arabic and was
scarcely distinguishable from any Muslim or Christian Arab. Most of the

tanks, and other Soviet armament, which Syria was receiving from the
Soviet Union, as well as Damascus plans for the construction of a canal
as counterdiversion of the Daniyas, one of the principal sources of the

From 1954 to 1973 during Operation Whitecoat, the Army exposed hundreds of Seventh-day Adventists to diseases to learn about possible bioweaponry.

WASHINGTON -- Dressed in battle fatigues and wrapped in an Army blanket, Lloyd Long slept on the sand in the barren Utah desert. Monkeys and guinea pigs sat placidly in cages beside him. A siren blared, telling Long to wake up and climb onto a stool. He faced into the wind and breathed the night air.

Two weeks later, the 18-year-old soldier fell as sick as he'd ever been. Fever. Headache. Blurred vision. The desert wind had carried a waft of the debilitating disease known as Q fever, unleashed by Army scientists.

And Long, a human guinea pig by his own consent, had helped prove that Americans were vulnerable to a new type of weapon: the germ.

That was more than 46 years ago. Long was part of Operation Whitecoat, a set of 153 Army tests from 1954 to 1973 that mark an extraordinary chapter in medical research history, one that probably could not be repeated today. The Whitecoat experiments exposed hundreds of healthy young men to debilitating diseases that might be used in biological warfare. And the experiments were conducted on soldiers recruited from a single religious group: the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Now the Whitecoats, who have received little public attention over the years, are being lauded as heroes. By offering the first details of how biological weapons move through the environment and affect the human body, their experiments laid out many of the scientific insights that officials need as they boost U.S. defenses against bioterrorism and investigate the anthrax attacks that have killed at least four Americans.

"I firmly believe that if those experiments had not shown our vulnerability to biological warfare, there would be no biological defense program today," said Col. Arthur Anderson, an Army immunologist. "As a result, the services provided during this outbreak of anthrax would be completely in the Dark Age."

But ethical concerns probably would rule out Operation Whitecoat today, because the experiments would put volunteers at undue risk, said Jonathan Moreno, a University of Virginia bioethics researcher.

Should those standards now be relaxed?

"Before Sept. 11, would we have found these tests more objectionable than we do now? I think we would," Moreno said. "We might be willing to live with more ambiguities and moral compromises now, in the harsh realities of the 21st century."

No test subjects died during Operation Whitecoat, Army officials say. The Army only now is conducting a study of possible long-term effects on those exposed, asking the 1,000 or so volunteers who could be located to fill out health questionnaires.

Like today, the nation was trying to grapple with the new and frightening threat of biological warfare at the time Operation Whitecoat was created.

After World War II, Americans learned that Japan had conducted extensive germ attacks and experiments on humans, mostly in Japanese-occupied areas of China. By some accounts, more than 10,000 people were infected.

But to U.S. scientists, biowarfare was an unproven threat. Once released, biological agents seemed hard to control in battle. And it was unclear how many casualties might result. Little was known about the number of germs it took to harm someone, and whether they could be released broadly, through an aerosol.

"We needed to fully understand the nature of aerosols and infectivity in man," said William C. Patrick III, a former official in the U.S. bioweapon program. "You could only get so much information from an animal model."

And so, in 1954, the Army approached Adventist leaders about forming a partnership.

Adventists had a special niche in the armed forces. Following the commandment "Thou shalt not kill," many sought status as conscientious objectors and became medics. That often put them on the battlefield, but in life-saving roles.

Army scientists thought the well-educated Adventists, with their natural interest in health matters, would make good test subjects. Moreover, Adventists--at least those who followed church rules--did not smoke, or drink alcohol or coffee.

"They were a cleaner piece of paper on which to work an experiment," said Richard O. Stenbakken, who supervises Adventist clergy in the armed forces. When testing an experimental drug or disease agent, "you didn't have to ask if their reaction was because they were drunk as a skunk on Saturday night."

In all, more than 2,100 young Adventist soldiers made the trip from Ft. Sam Houston in Texas, where the Army conducted medic training, to serve their tours of duty at the Army's biological warfare program at Ft. Detrick, Md. Many would have ended up in Korea or Vietnam. were written in. i think i'm gonna chock this one up to coincidence.

 the words of paul appealed to the 'civilized'

suggestions, etc on the theory that jesus may have had offspring that

the theory i'm basing this on goes as follows - jesus was in reality
descended directly from the line of david and was thus the true hereditary
king of the jews. his life was threatened when he was young, as herod was
rightly worried that he may attempt to claim the throne, and thus he was
expelled first to egypt and then to india. eventually, he returned not to
preach but to claim his throne and began to amass a following throughout the
countryside - an army - by trying to convince people that he was the
messiah. naturally, some took it seriously and others viewed it as blasphemy
for political gains. the romans couldn't care less - it was quite obviously
treason. he was therefore executed, but before he did so he impregnated his
wife - mary magdalene, who was not a prostitute but a wealthy land owner.
upon his death, she fled to southern france in order to save the child from
persecution and raised it by herself with the large sums of money that she
had. she named him jesus II; and he had a child named jesus III who had
a child named jesus IV. this information is apparently available in the
dead sea scrolls and some people think it's also locked up deep inside the
vatican vaults because the thriving christian community in southern france -
a community of *real* christians modeled after mary magdalene's
conversions - were brutally supressed in a series of crusades. after this i
have hit a dead end, but the merovingian kings of france, strangely, always
maintained that they were descended from this line of fisher kings and it
seems to be generally acknowledge as historical fact that mary magdalene did
make her way to marseilles. joseph arimithea, jesus' brother according to
this theory, would have also been in england around this time in an attempt

In his swift rise to the top of the' political heap, young Richard has picked
up some strange companions! But none stranger than a certain Influential
gentleman who pulls the strings backstage for Tricky Dick Nixon . . .

Sometime during the early morn-ing of December 11th, 1950, a lawyer named
Samuel Rummel was blasted into eternity by a 12- gauge. shotgun in the
driveway of his swank Hollywood:, home.

The day after lawyer Rummel was wafted to the Supreme Bench, the police got a
clue.

It was a strong clue. It might have cleared up a lot of mysteries. But the
cops never' got the chance to follow It up.

An attorney named Murray Chotiner made a few phone calls, talked to a few
influential people and, when he was finished, the clue became a dead end.

Rummel's death and a whole story of gangland violence, illegal gambling
syndicates, police corruption and vice in California ended in a blank wall.

The Man Behind Nixon,

Murray Chotiner, who was instrumental in building that wall, is the
right-hand man of Richard M. Nixon, Vice-President of the United. States!

And if, through the sudden death of the President, Nixon should take over the
White House, the same Murray Chotiner will probably be the chief adviser to
the nation's Chief Executive!

What kind ofsecrets did Sam Rummel take to his gravesecrets which
Murray
Chotiner apparently did not want revealed?

Between 1945 and 1950, seven important figures in the West Coast
underworld died violent deaths. With the exception of Bugsy Siegel, their
names were not well known to the public.

They included such picturesque characters as Benny Meatball Gamson, Harry
Hooky Rothman and Needie Herbert.

All had one thing in common. In one way or another, all were involved with
Mickey Cohen, Rummel's client., And Mickey Cohen, In turn, was involved with
the West Coast gambling syndicate, which masqueraded under the name of the
Guarantee Finance Co.

At the time of Rummel's death, however, three separate agencies were
investigating the operations of Guarantee Finance.

A special -grand jury, for Instance, was scheduled to open its sessions on
the very morning Sam Rummel was killed. One of the questions it wanted
answered was:

What cop or cops got a $108,000 payoff from Guarantee Nuance, the bookie
syndicate?

To help answer this question, the grand jury had subpoenaed Sheriff's
Capt. Carl H. Pearson. But before Pearson could testify, Rurnmelwho knew
where all the bodies were buriedwas killed.

Meeting Ends In Death

Then came the clue the police had been waiting for.

Pearson admitted that he and Sheriff's Deputy Lawrence C. Schaffer were
probably the last persons to see Sam Rummel alive!

Pearson confessed that he, Schaf-fer and Rummel had, held a conference, at
the lawyer's request. Pearson said that he had brought with him, to the
meeting, the complete police files on the Guarantee Finance Co!

The meeting ended at 10:40 p.m., December 10th. And the following morning,
some time around 1:30 a.m., Rummel was dead.

Pearson and Schaffer knew what had been discussed at that meeting with
the gamblers' lawyer. And when they appeared before the grand jury, many
things about the syndicate's op-erations were bound to come to light.

The Big Fix

Schaffer, realizing the spot he was in, picked up a phone and called Murray
Chotiner. What he said will probably never be known. But Chotinerwho packs a
lot of weight in Californiafixed it, so that Schaffer got off the hook.

That doused any light that might have been shed on gangland violence,-
the $108,000 payoff and the compli-cated operations of California's book-ies.

And the man who engineered the blackoutMurray Chotineris a key figure In
California's Republican hierarchy. He Is the man to see if you want any
favors from the Vice President of the United States!

Why should Murray Chotinerwho pulls the strings for Nixonbe interested in
helping to cover up the workings of a giant bookie syndicate?

One clue was recently unearthed by a West Coast reporter from the files of
the Superior Court of Los Angeles County.

Between 1949 and June, 1952, a single law firm represented defendants in 220
bookmaking cases in that court.

The Bookies' Friend

The name of the firmthe bookies' friend, for a pricewas, of course,
Chotiner  Chotiner!

. The same reporter could not find a single criminal case of any other type
in which Murray Chotiner's firm acted during the same period!

In other words, the professional career of a man who may one day be a White
House advisor depends largely on defending illegal bookmakers! ,

How did this singular circumstance come to be?

What are the aims of the Codex Alimentarius Commission?

Constructed by the pharmaceutical industry, the Codex Alimentarius Commission
is a self-proclaimed expert organization that has allied with the World Health
Organization (WHO) and the World Food Organization (FAO). From the beginning,
this was done with the intention of passing regulations and laws to protect the
global pharmaceutical market.

Of the 30 committees using the title Codex Alimentarius, those involved with
food supplements and vitamins are of particular interest to the pharmaceutical
industry. The central committee is the Codex Committee for Nutrition and
Dietetic Foods. A puppet of the pharmaceutical industry, this committee has
only been concerned with one topic since the middle of the 1990's: how to
prevent vitamins and other food supplements from causing the collapse of the
markets for beta blockers, calcium antagonists, cholesterol lowering products
and other widely superfluous pharmaceutical preparations.

By far, Germany is the biggest exporter of these dubious pharmaceutical
products, and nowhere else in the world exists such a bond between the
pharmaceutical industry and politics. Therefore it is no surprise that the
Government of the German Federal Republic is in charge of this committee
benefitting the pharmaceutical cartel.

The aims of the Codex Alimentarius are clearly defined: Statements on the
curative effects of vitamins and other natural remedies will be banned and made
a punishable offense. In the future, the distinction between a foodstuff and a
medicine will be made by the pharmaceutical industry itself and not by
governments.

Using this new legislative edict, the pharmaceutical industry will extend its
own markets as it sees fit. At present, the pharmaceutical industry has
succeeded in classifying 500 milligrams of vitamin C in pill form as a
medication and requiring a prescription in Germany. If the pharmaceutical
industry had its way, 100 mg or even 50 mg vitamin C would be classified as
medication.

The pharmaceutical industry knows that most people have no understandings of
these restrictions and has disguised them with legal jargon.

The strategic aims of Codex Alimentarius

1. The distribution of health information concerning
vitamins, amino acids, minerals and other natural
products for the prevention and treatment of diseases
will be banned globally.

2. The sale of vitamins and other natural products which
exceed the guidelines of this Codex commission
(which are arbitrary and far too low) will be prohibited
globally.

3. Countries that fail to apply these laws will be punished
by international economic sanctions.


To mask its actual intention of protecting the world market of superfluous
pharmaceutical preparations, those responsible for Codex have invented
exculpatory statements:

Thus the Codex Alimentarius conference will occur at the Federal Office for
Health-related Consumer Protection in Berlin in June of 2000. In addition to
the consumer protection from alleged harmful side effects of vitamins, a
need for united international administration of the pharmaceutical industry was
indicated.

The fact that the pharmaceutical industry believes that this disguised
justification will be unaccepted is clearly evident since Codex plans to punish
all those who oppose its plans with economic sanctions by the UN.

plans and let the members of the Codex commission and their delegates know what
you think.

In our story dated 11/2/01 in which we presented a complete timeline of events - 
before and after September 11th - indicating U.S. government complicity in the attacks 
and demonstrating an agenda other than what we are being told, we made a small error.

We would like to correct it.

In what was previously Item #16 of the timeline we stated that 23,000 British troops 
plus the largest British Naval Armada since the Falkland Islands War had been 
pre-positioned in Oman in an operation called Essential Harvest.

In fact, the deployment of British troops was underway and had been planned for four 
years but the troops had not yet arrived in Oman. This coincides with writings from 
Zbigniew Brzezinski and other evidence showing that the current war had been in the 
preparatory stages for at least that long. The correct name of the Operation is Swift 
Sword.

The attacks of September 11th caused a brief hiccup in the British deployment but  as 
we have confirmed from British military web sites and The Guardian  the huge 
deployment to Oman did take place, conveniently, as had been planned.
It was just in time to support U.S. military operations in Afghanistan.

The timeline story has also been enhanced with shocking new revelations from the BBCs 
Greg Palast (See Item #2).
